Chapter 204 There are always priorities
"I also know that you do it to protect your daughters," Anthony added, gently caressing Alison's cheeks.
"I know a mother would do anything for her daughters, that much is clear to me," said Anthony calmly, his voice resonating with understanding. Alison's purple eyes met Anthony's red ones.
"You're worse than your father, no, you're much worse than him," Alison said bitterly as she lowered her head, revealing the weight of her thoughts and emotions. Anthony gently stroked her, as if trying to calm the storm raging inside her.
"Don't worry, we can both get out of this. I have the information, but if you sign a soul contract with me and swear to be my slave, I won't say anything. Nothing will leave this office. We'll be in the same boat, dear. My head is also on the line. I'm a good person for giving you this opportunity," Anthony continued, his voice calm.
Anthony smiled with satisfaction as Alison watched him in silence for a few seconds, trying to understand his motivations. "Why did you bother? You could have easily informed the empire and ended this more quickly," Alison asked curiously, her eyes showing a calmness that wasn't present before.
"Would you believe me if I told you it's because you're beautiful?" Anthony asked with a playful smile. However, Alison's response was direct and unwavering. "No," she replied firmly.
Anthony let out a small laugh at Alison's response. "If I told the empire, it would indeed be much easier, you're right about that. But explaining how I obtained the information would be the problem. It would be a headache I'm not willing to deal with," explained Anthony, his tone calm.
"I can help you out of your situation, but before that, I want to have your life in my hands. I don't like being lied to. I need you to be honest with me," Anthony added, staring at Alison intently.
Alison hesitated for a few seconds, feeling the weight of the decision on her shoulders. Finally, she let out a resigned sigh and nodded. "Fine, I'll be your slave," she said sadly. With a wave of his hands, a bright white paper appeared in front of her.
"I, Alison Darkwood, swear to be the slave of Anthony Von Valeriano. I swear to speak only the truth and never betray him," Alison recited solemnly as her words echoed in the room. A part of her soul exited and entered the paper, sealing the commitment with an unbreakable bond.
With a satisfied smile, Anthony accepted the contract. "I, Anthony Von Valeriano, accept Alison Darkwood as my slave," he said with a smile as the paper disintegrated and his soul absorbed the bond, finalizing the agreement between them.
"You see, it wasn't so difficult. It was very easy and simple," said Anthony with a smile as he patted Alison's back, feeling her very soft skin. "What do you want me to do?" Alison asked, ready to follow her new master's instructions.

"It's quite simple. You'll act as a double spy. You'll give them false information with truths, and you'll tell me the truth. Additionally, you'll give me all the names of the infiltrated students. That'll be all for now," explained Anthony.
Anthony gently touched Alison's cheek and said, "You're a good woman, Alison, very obedient, that's how I like it, stand up it's time to leave this place." She stood up, with a smile, Anthony took the flower out of his ring and handed it to Alison.
"This is yours. Make sure to use it in an isolated place," said Anthony. Then, he took out a huge purple crystal and offered it to Alison. "This will be very helpful to you. Once you've finished removing the seal from your soul, let me know," added Anthony.
They left the room and vanished from the office. Anthony looked at the moon high in the sky and remarked, "Indeed, it's a lovely night, don't you think, Alison?" She followed his gaze to the moon and nodded, "It's very beautiful."
Anthony tenderly looked at Charlotte's sleeping body still in the chair; he picked her up in his arms and carried her back to the castle. Feeling the warmth of another person, Charlotte opened her eyes with confusion. "What happened to me?" she asked, bewildered.
"It's nothing, dear. You just fell asleep because you were very tired," Anthony responded calmly. Charlotte's face blushed upon hearing the term 'dear.' "D-dear?" she murmured shyly.
"That's right. From now on, you're mine, Charlotte Darkwood," Anthony asserted confidently. Charlotte's eyes widened in surprise. "Does that mean...?" she began to say before being interrupted by Alison, who was walking ahead of them.
Alison turned around with a beautiful smile on her face and said, "This is what you wanted, right?" Charlotte jumped out of Anthony's arms and ran towards her mother with overflowing joy. "Thank you so much, Mom!" she exclaimed happily as tears of excitement welled up in her eyes.
Anthony smiled inwardly as Alison's gaze met his red eyes. There was resentment and a certain gratitude in her gaze. In the next few minutes, Alison led us to a large table, where some servants served us various dishes. After eating, Anthony stayed contemplating the landscape from a balcony, while Alison assigned us a room to rest.
Looking at the moon, Anthony nodded to himself. Everything had gone according to plan. With Alison's help, he was able to first get rid of the infiltrators who had caused more trouble. Second, with her collaboration, he could save the chosen ones from the grade 8 artifacts, and most importantly, save Cristal's life.
Furthermore, he now had valuable information about the threads that had created those creatures from zone 7. Everything fit perfectly, it went smoothly, saving him a lot of trouble.
It was undoubtedly a great investment; it hurt his heart to lose the Seven Stars flower, but it was a very large investment. In the original plot, the chosen ones were killed by the infiltrators during the siege of the academy; that was also where Cristal died. That wouldn't happen this time; he didn't care at all about the other students who died. There are always priorities in life.
