Chapter 143: Chapter 143: An Introduction to Class

[3rd POV]

It was the next day when her first class would officially start, and when she would be revealed as the newest teacher of the school. It was also the next day when she had gotten the next part of her quest completed, giving her 55 TL tickets, which was turned into an SSL character and the rest saved for the future. From this she had gotten a pretty decent character.

The character had some pretty strong energy manipulation based powers, and some other abilities. One of which was the fact that she had "Magic Augmentation" meaning that those who used magic, that were near her, had their magic strengthened, and that seemed to affect Gwen too, strengthening her magic even more.

She had "Interdimensional Vision" which let her see through dimensional barriers, and even see events that were occurring in other dimensions. Even better than that, was the fact that she had "Hyper Cosmic Awareness" which was an attunement with "the higher cosmological happenings of the quasiverse". And she even had a sort of sixth sense similar to spider sense. Combine that with what Gwen already had, and her senses were growing more and more, to some ridiculous levels.

The character was far from the best she could have gotten, but she definitely wasn't about to complain about the new Cosmic Awareness and the other crap she had gotten from her.

At the moment, Gwen was standing in her new classroom, waiting for the students to enter from their previous classes. Her girlfriends were visiting the nearby town, getting a lay of the land, and learning more about the world and its differences from theirs, like WW2 and Hydra, or the new countries like...Latveria.

Her class was a special one, as it was a daily class that was given to every student that could fit it into their current schedule, with the rest of them being admitted once they completed one of their current classes. Meaning, she had classes all day. The classes would be every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, except for holidays, and certain events that Gwen couldn't come at, and in those situations, she would simply send a clone.

Waiting, Gwen soon smiled as the students opened the doors to her classroom, and began to walk in. She noticed several people of note enter her room, such as Kitty Pryde (Shadowcat), Robert Drake (Iceman), Jubilation Lee (Jubilee), Jean, Rogue, and finally Scott.

There was also another mutant named "Glob" known as Robert Herman. The mutant had a rather...interesting looking mutation that basically made him basically a walking wax human, that in and of itself wouldn't be too weird if it wasn't...completely see through. She felt truly bad for him, so she hoped that there was some way she could help him with his mutation.

They were the main mutants of note in the room, alongside a few other mutants with interesting colored skin, or other body parts that made them stand out. She also noticed a few powers of note that would need some very careful help, like one that involved detonating parts of their body, while still feeling all of the pain that came with doing that. The parts would regenerate, albeit slowly.

"Good, you're all here! I am Gwendolyn Wayne, but you will call me Professor Wayne or Professor Gwen" Gwen began, as all her students sat, the door shutting with a flick of her wrist.

"I know that most of you don't know what this class is for, correct? Afterall, you've certainly got perfect control of your powers, right?" Gwen questioned, as several students nodded. "To those of you who nodded, I ask of you "Do you truly have control of your powers?" For you, Mr Drake, you can turn into and control "Cold" correct?" Gwen asked the teen.

"Well I can turn into ice and control it but-" "Well you don't truly control your powers then. For you control more than just ice, but you control "Cold" and cold temperatures. Not only that, but you can control water if you put your mind to it. Even your ice is stronger than what you think" Gwen cut the teen off as he looked at her in confusion.

"But how-" "I can sense and understand the mutant powers of others, Robert. And from what I can tell, you are one of the strongest mutants in not just this room, but the entire world. You just need to learn how to use that power of yours. THAT is one of the reasons this class had been created" Gwen began, only for a student to speak up, this being "Glob".

"What about those of us who don't have super cool powers or strong ones? I mean look at me, does it really look like I can control all of...this?" Glob asked as he motioned to his wax body.

Gwen softly smiled at the teen "Let me ask you, Mr Herman, have you ever thought of changing and warping that body of yours, making it more...slim? Your mutation is based around wax, but wax can be warped and changed, so too can your body. With enough practice and control, I am quite certain that you can make your body change to your desires, perhaps giving you a more...manageable figure" Gwen replied as the teen looked at her silently, seemingly in surprise.

"I-I didn't even-" "Think about it? Most don't. THAT is the other reason I have asked Charles to create this class, so that I can teach those that haven't even thought of learning more about their powers. Especially those of you who have mutations that hinder your day to day lives. Some of you have powers that are harder to control, manipulate, and learn, and I am here to teach you how to do all of those things. Afterall, you are going to have these powers for the rest of your lives, so it's best you learn everything about them, and gain absolute control over them, right?" Gwen asked as they all nodded.

"No offense, but why choose you? What do you have that the other teachers here don't? You look like you're the same age as the rest of us" Jubilee asked, as Gwen turned to her before

smiling.

"I've got more experience and knowledge in the subject of mutations, powers, and the control of them, than anyone else in the world, even more than Charles Xavier. My own powers give this advantage and knowledge to me, and it is through these powers that I will teach you all about yourselves" Gwen replied, not minding all the questions, as she would also ask them, especially with a teen around the same age as you standing in front of you.

"For this class, I'll be doing overall teachings to you all, ones that can be applied to each and every single one of you. But I will also be doing individual teachings in personal times with each student in this class. Some of you will need longer times and some shorter, meaning that not all of these will take place during class, and may be done later in the day, or earlier in some cases" Gwen explained, as the students slowly nodded, as it made sense. There were too many students for her to reasonably do it all in the same class.

Looking over them all, Gwen smiled "So, are you all excited to learn more about your

powers?"

The students all rapidly nodded at this, as most of them were desperate to learn control, and

if she could teach them that, then they would be forever grateful.

"Perfect! Now, let's get started!"

Basically just her introduction to her students and explaining what she was teaching to them.

While also getting her next task done and getting a new character that is decency powerful.

Not sure what she'll be doing next chapter, still deciding on that one.
