A few hours had passed, and the classes were all done and over with. The class had mostly been an introduction into what they'd be learning, learning more about her, and a few other things, and was not really any genuine teaching, as most first classes would be. It also gave her time to make an actual plan for her teaching, and who she'd start with first, and who was the most important.

That was Forget me not, a student that had been in her 3rd class and was utterly shocked when he realized that she never forgot him, the first and only person to ever not forget him. Gwen had made sure the teen knew that if he ever needed help, he could come to her, considering she was the only one who could realistically do it, considering the others would just forget being asked for help, the second they looked away from him.

Even while in class, students were confused when she was talking to the boy, only to turn and remember him as they looked at him, and then forget seconds later. It was...really just sad, sad that he had to go through that every single day of his life. And the worst part was, that his ability worked on even things like magic and technology, making it quite literally impossible to remember him.

Had Gwen not had her system blocking it, even she wouldn't remember the teen, showing just how powerful his mutant ability truly is. And how wide reaching it is. She imagined that Jean could remember should she gain access to the Phoenix Force, considering how powerful it

was.

Besides meeting Forget me Not, whose actual name was Xabi, she had also met a handful of other mutants of note, such as Kurt Wagner, also known as Nightcrawler. There were a couple of others, but it seemed that the mutants like X-23, Magik, and some of the others, had yet to appear at the school. Although, she did notice that Colossus was at the school, so she knew that Magik would eventually appear...probably.

Although she had no idea when the girl would appear, considering she was likely trapped in another dimension known as "Limbo". X-23 was likely still locked up in some Weapon-X base in the middle of nowhere. She had the knowledge of many of the bases thanks to her Wolverine character, but that was based around the primary Earth 616, not Earth 616-2 which is where she was at the moment.

At the moment Gwen was in the basement, standing across from Hank and another man that he was introducing her to. A man who looked rather...insulted at the moment.

"Gwen, meet Forge, the man who created the defenses that keep this school safe, as well as the creator of the Danger Room" Hank said, as Gwen just glanced at the man, slightly unimpressed.

"So you're the one who thinks she can upgrade my security measures?" Forge asked, looking her over with an equally as unimpressed look on his face.

"I don't think I can upgrade them, I know I can" Gwen replied bluntly, as while the man's danger room was impressive in her eyes, his security measures had...a lot to be desired.

"Oh yeah, and what can you do to upgrade them?" Forge asked, raising an eyebrow at the response.

"Well for one I would set up an automatic detection system set up in a one mile radius of the mansion. This ADS as I call it, would automatically detect, scan, and identify those that enter its field of range. Should the one who enters be an enemy, then it would send us an alert, and begin it's "Defensive Protocols" which would include a...range of things" Gwen replied, it was FAR from her best defensive system, but it was the one that would best suit the mansion, and would still be upgradable should it ever need it.

Forge hearing this, looked intrigued "And how would you get power to this system? Just the power requirements alone would require something like a localized power system, not something you can just create"

"I was planning on creating a miniature nuclear reactor. Should produce enough power for not only the defense system, but also the entire mansion. That, or I'd create a customized Arc Reactor like what Stark makes, but it'd require a lot more materials and take a bit more time" Gwen responded.

"And where would you place it? Not to mention how safe would it be?" Hank asked on the side, his knowledge in engineering was...lacking, but even he could tell that "Nuclear" based stuff can be dangerous.

"Nuclear Reactors are literally the safest sources of energy on Earth, as well as the purest sources of energy. The likelihood of it blowing up or anything is literally less than 1% Hank. And my reactor would be well beyond anything created on Earth up till this point, and is even safer" Gwen replied, calming the man before he starts getting scared or anything.

"Isn't that a bit overkill for a security system?" Hank asked, which was a genuinely good question.

"Oh definitely. That's why it won't just be for a security system, but will also be used to power the school and everything within it, and anything else that might be created in the future. I was already planning on creating something that could help my students identify how powerful their mutations are, and that would require some power" Gwen replied, explaining what it would be used for.

"You mean...a device that can measure what level they are? Such as Alpha, Omega, and the likes?" Hank asked with wide eyes, as that would change...everything. It would make things much easier to track in the school, but should it be leaked and used by others...it could be incredibly damaging.

"Yep. And don't worry, I'll be giving it some rather...powerful security measures that will make sure that no one can use it or steal it. Trust me, I'm not dumb enough to allow a group like the government to get their hands on it" Gwen replied, calming the blue skinned mutant. "How would this security measure work against someone like Magneto? He controls electromagnetism and is...immensely difficult to create counters to" Forge asked, as he had been trying to figure out some sort of weapon or defense for the man, but it was...very difficult with how wide reaching his power was.

"I was going to create something that could overwhelm his senses. He can sense metals in his range right? From my knowledge, that can give him headaches should it be too much, so I was going to create something that could do that. That, and I was planning on making some defenses using metals he can't manipulate, as well as plastics and other similar material" Gwen responded. What she didn't say was that she was also making various mystical and magical wards that would stop the man from doing anything to the Mansion, as well as his confidants.

"That...could work. What would work though? It would need to be massive to overwhelm someone like him" Forge asked, as he began to think of what Gwen was saying, as he began to realize that this idea could actually work.

"I was planning on creating a device that would "Supercharge" the senses of those in range, to the point of overwhelming the person, in this case, it would overwhelm Magneto's senses regarding Electromagnetism, giving him what would basically be the most painful headache you can imagine. I doubt he'd even be able to walk once it starts. The specifics of the item are...a lot more complicated than that, and requires some rather advanced technology that involves manipulating the laws of physics to a rather powerful level" Gwen responded, her clones already working on this specific device, as it was quite the complicated little thing.

Forge went silent as he went over the idea, finding that if Gwen was right, and it worked...it would be a powerful weapon against Magneto, one that would instantly take him out of a

fight.

Looking up to Gwen with a serious glint in his eyes, as all thoughts of her being a fake left his mind, Forge opened his mouth and spoke.

"Tell me more about this...device"

Basically just a chapter talking to Forge about some defenses for future foes that might be showing up. Forge will be rather important later on when Gwen makes her own group. Next chapter will be her traveling around a bit, and then the chapter after that will be some

time with the girls as I haven't really covered them much (But Gwen has been showing them some love of course, I just haven't written about it lol).
