Chapter 142: Chapter 142: Becoming a Teacher

?

[3rd POV]

It was later in the day, after talking with Jean and hanging out, when Gwen was called into Xavier's office. Over the course of that day, she had also completed more tasks in her quest, thanks to her clones working 24/7 all day everyday saving people.

Task 10 - Save 5,000,000 Civilians

Reward 10 27 TL Tickets

It had ended up expanding her quest more, as it added 3 more tasks. From what the system had told her, the quest wouldn't be expanded anymore than what it was, which was 16 tasks in total.

And with over 10,000 clones traveling around (She made a shit ton more) she had rapidly completed the quests. With there ALWAYS being people to save, it didn't take long for her to complete the rest of the tasks. As there was over 25 million people being trafficked around the world, that alone was easy enough to obliterate with her clones.

She was rather certain that the intelligence organizations around the world were going absolutely crazy trying to figure out what the hell was happening. All they knew was some shadowy figures was saving people around the world, and appearing out of nowhere with missing people in front of police stations around the world, saving those that had seemingly been trafficked.

That alone had led to another quest completion.

Task 11 Save 10,000,000 Civilians [Complete]

Task 12 - Save 25,000,000 Civilians [Complete]

Reward 11-35 TL Tickets

Reward 12 - 45 TL Tickets

Who the hell?

Details - Become internationally known, and wanted by several organizations

Reward 3 TL tickets.

Now that she was done with the 13th task, she knew that the quests would slow and get as difficult as she expected them to be. As this was more than likely a starter quest of sorts for this universe.

Naturally she had turned 150 TL tickets into 3 SSL tickets, and then claimed the 15 remaining TL tickets and the 3 SSL tickets.

[SSL characters - Red Hulk (616), Naruto Uzumaki, White Diamond]

[TL Tickets]

[Fate - Child Gil (Archer), Gilgamesh (Archer), Hassan of the Fathomless Rift (Assassin), Gilgamesh (Caster), Hassan of Serenity (Assassin), Gilgamesh (Prototype), Grigori Rasputin (Alter Ego), Enkidu (Lancer), Amakusa Shirou Tokisada (Ruler)]

[Fairy Tail - Alzack Connell, Animus]

[Others - Allen the Alien (Pre Powerup), Anguirus (Final Wars), King Ghidorah (GmK), Monster X (Final Wars)]

Out of all the characters she had gotten, there was only 5 that were genuinely the best of them, and perhaps some of the best characters she had gotten up to this point. And that was the Gilgamesh's, and Enkidu. The two had come with their noble phantasms, meaning she now had Gate of Babylon and Age of Babylon.

And from what she could tell, EA was inside of the Gate, but they were not "Universe" busters or anything, and from what she could tell, could probably annihilate continents with ease, but that was about it. Should she combine it with her other powers, and begin to use its more conceptual abilities, then it could probably rise to a much higher level. And she knew she could bring it to a higher level than Gilgamesh ever could.

Of course, CCC Gilgamesh was a different beast. And had this been alive Gilgamesh, then she knew that it would be an entirely different level of power, but that was an entirely different "character".

Age of Babylon on the other hand, was...incredible, simply incredible. As it allowed her to create weapons, and even "Beasts" made of "Clay" that were the pinnacle of human craftsmanship. The thing that made this so incredible was the fact that the pinnacle of human craftsmanship in this world was...much higher than even the Fate universes, while still retaining that "Level" from Fate.

White Diamond and Naruto were also pretty good, with the latter massively strengthening her chakra, and giving her some new jutsu that she didn't have before, not to mention some new "Forms" that she could now use.

Walking into Xavier's office, Gwen found the man sitting at his desk, alone.

"Gwen, I'm glad you're here. Have you decided whether or not you wish to teach as my school yet?" Xavier asked, as Gwen smiled.

"I have, I'll work here. BUT, I want to choose what I am teaching the students at this school" Gwen replied, as that was her main clause. She wanted to teach the students how to use, control, and understand their mutations, not some BS like math or history, even if she was also well equipped to teach that as well.

"That...what is it you wish to teach?" Xavier asked, as that would decide whether or not he could agree to that clause.

"A class for teaching the mutants at this school how to use, control, and understand their mutations. They need to learn it if they want to realistically live in the real world. And I can teach them this, I've got the knowledge and experience for it, trust me on that" Gwen replied, knowing that she was the best teacher anyone could ever ask for.

"Such a class could be...incredible for the students. However, are you confident in dealing with the mutations and differences of some of them? Some of our students have very...debilitating mutations that are difficult to master" Xavier asked, as Gwen nodded.

"I'm confident. I have the means to teach them how to gain control of their powers, and how to deal with it. Even if you deny me, I still plan on teaching Rogue and Jean either way, so your opinion matters little to me in that area" Gwen replied, deciding to be blunt about that part. There was absolutely no way in hell she was allowing Dark Phoenix to happen, and she would rather not watch Rogue descend into depression as she failed to control her power and

continued to hurt people.

"Then I suppose there is no reason to deny you. But I do hope you understand the sort of challenges you will face. Many of our students are young, and will need a lot of help in order to properly learn and master their powers. More than that, you must be patient with them, very patient" Xavier accepted her idea, while also warning her of what she would need to be

ready for.

"Trust me, Charles, I am very patient, and dealing with younger kids is easy for me" Gwen replied with a smile, as she had dealt with children in many of her lives, with many of the characters having children themselves. This gave her a LOT of experience in teaching kids and calming them down. It also gave her the patience required to teach them something like this.

"Well alright then. There will be some paperwork you must fill out, but I suspect you have already done that, haven't you?" Xavier asked, knowing that the girl seemed to be able to see the future or something of sort.

"Yep, here you go!" Gwen said with a smile as she handed the paperwork over to the man. While completing the paperwork, she had also made sure to increase the security on her background, making it next to impossible to get anything on her. As she does technically have a life in this world, and does exist, but she was also supposed to be dead, and didn't have any family. Her father from this world was long dead, as was her mother.

When Gwen realized the part about her father, she decided that a visit to her dad was in order, as it had been quite some time since she had seen the man and her little brother. She wondered if she could even bring her brother over to this world for a little while, or even her father too, if he was accepting of it.

"Well then, shall we go and tell the others the news?" Xavier asked, as he began to roll away towards the door, as Gwen grinned widely and replied.

"Let's go then. I'd love to see their faces when they realize I'll be teaching them~"

That's the end of the chapter!

Basically a bit of an intermission chapter where she gets some new characters, and more than

that, talks with Charles for a little while about being a teacher. She'll have her first class next chapter, and then do some of her own little adventures in the next few chapters. She'll get one last burst of TL tickets and then it will slow down like I promised.

Anyways, have a good day!
