Chapter 2923  A New World

Meanwhile, in the Spiritual World...

Much had changed on the Stuart Family's home planet since the last time he had visited. From the destruction caused by the War of Worlds, a new civilization had risen, recovering the destroyed ecosystems and building new regions and cities, revolutionizing the entire planet. Previously, it would have been difficult to find a single God—as the locals called those who reached level 100, the beginning of the Sovereign stage. High-level Demigods were the ones who ruled these lands. However, that was in the past. Even in the most remote corners of the Spiritual World now, far from the mighty Black Plain Empire, Gods, or rather low-level Sovereigns, could be found.

Whether in the seas or on the Continent of Beasts, Divine Continent, or Central Continent, cultivators who were beyond the previous natural limits of this world were not only positioned, but living well locally.

But, as might be expected, the strongest were invariably in the vicinity of the capital of the grandiose Black Plain Empire, where the descendants of the strongest family in the history of this world lived.

In the Dry City, once a grandiose city in terms of numbers, but quite similar to the others in this world in terms of technology and appearance, today there was a true nucleus of a technologically advanced civilization. Floating islands decorated the local sky, with various means of transportation connecting them to each other. But not only highly altered land masses could be seen, spaceships of different sizes and models crossed the sky every few minutes, making the mere experience of passing by revolutionary for the former natives of this world.

Robots came and went through the main streets as if they were ordinary humans, going far beyond the race left behind by Minos to help his people, with various subtypes now fully integrated into this community.

But even with all the planetary advances of this civilization, now galactic-focused on extraterritorial business—the cultivators and their ancient rules still prevailed as a path to growth.

In particular, the Stuart Family continued with their methods structured by Minos and developed by Rowan and Sarah, seeking the local apex and spiritual growth based on good cultivation practices, avoiding external resources and focusing on the gradual path locally. The family already knew that it could grow faster in other ways, but its members wanted to maintain their old methods, to grow solidly locally, maintaining the family's prestige on the planet before the moment of departure for Zocarro—the target point for everyone on this world today, not just the powerful Stuart Family.

Amid this dynamic, the eldest of Minos' grandchildren, Raiden, was now on the throne of power, with the same advisor who had served the state's only 3 Emperors on his right side, Dillian, the solid rock of the empire's foundation, currently at level 101!

As one of the strongest in the Spiritual World today, Dillian stood like a pillar supporting this reality, giving Raiden and the other family members room to continue the legacy he himself had helped to establish.

Having already refused to leave for Zocarro several times, Dillian saw in Raiden his moment to return to Minos' side, seeing in this boy someone with enough to take this world forward without his advice.

As she stood on Raiden's right side, Dillian couldn't help but secretly look at her current leader, who even at his young age was already at a formidable level 93.

Raiden was a talent who had already surpassed all the other Stuarts Dillian had met. Not only in terms of spiritual power and combat proficiency, but also in terms of reproduction.

To Raiden's left, five women silently followed his morning's work, very well dressed, possessing not only the beauty of the most beautiful and strongest women on the planet, but also the glow that every mother would have.

Even though he wasn't even 60, Raiden already had seven children, three of them young adult maidens and four young men who would soon be old enough to call themselves men.

Only two of these sons were present this morning, taking part in the diplomatic routine of opening a week of meetings of world leaders—something increasingly common after the War of Worlds.

Currently, the Spiritual World, apart from the Black Plain Empire, had four major forces. The new Ancestral Empire, which came from the merger of the former state of Vico Travisani with the Western Empire, the Elves Island, the coalition led by a sect from the Divine Continent and the coalition led by the dragons from the Continent of Beasts. These four forces were no match for the empire left by Minos, but they lived harmoniously and to this end met almost every year to discuss the future and the rules for entering and leaving the planet.

Land disputes in the Spiritual World were over. With the possibility of going to stronger worlds or even exploring worlds similar to their own, there was hardly anyone left with internal expansionist interests to cause trouble. But not everything was cordial. There were disputes, in particular disputes relating to leaving the planet, which since Minos' last passage there had been made more difficult on many levels to avoid the loss of local power. From the limitations created by him previously arose the major problem and interest behind the meetings of the leaders of this world, who always met in one of their states to discuss ways of increasing permissions for one side or the other, enabling their individual exploitative interests.

This year's meeting was starting this morning, hosted this time in the core of the Black Plain Empire. Raiden, as leader of the state, was currently receiving his guests: the leader of the dragons, the leader of the Ancestral Empire, the leader of the elves and the leader of the Divine Continent, each of them level 100 Gods.

Of the four guests, the dragons were the most subservient to the interests of the empire, being less aggressive in their approaches, naturally respectful of the figure of the grandson of Minos Stuart. Of the others, the least devoted to Minos and most individualistic was the leader of the Ancestral Empire, since the elf there was someone who knew the old emperor and the representative of the Divine Continent was a disciple of the Ice Goddess, who, alongside Vico, had followed Minos for many years after his last visit to the Spiritual World.

Still, Raiden was serious, aware of his advantages, but unwilling to be the one to let the situation change. As such, he took the opportunity of facing these experts to show his aura and power in full, highlighting his similarities to his grandfather.

"Welcome to the Dry City, my friends…" He was saying amid showing himself to be as strong as those several levels stronger than him, when the expressions of everyone, including him, changed.

At that opening moment of another week of meetings and negotiations, the strongest experts at the core of the empire, from the foreign leaders to the imperial guard of level 103 robots, raised their guards as they turned their attention to the outside of the palace.

Not only did they act strangely and fearfully. The entire city, home to over 30 million creatures, came to a standstill in that instant, as the local sky broke up.

Then, with almost all of these creatures looking toward what seemed to be the end of the world, golden pillars of light and energy broke out of the cracks, in an instant reaching their targets.

Dillian and all the imperial guards moved, but they had no chance of reaching Raiden and all the other members of the imperial family!
