Chapter 2908  The Place Where Forfex Became a Supreme?

Three days were enough for one of the strongest places on the planet to guide Minos' group and start getting information related to Forfex's passage through this world.

Supremes moved fast and information relevant to them was taken seriously so that there were records or data on important figures. If Forfex had really advanced in this world where the strongest were mid-level Supremes, then there would be something related to him stored.

Even if it was impossible to say whether he was on the planet now without a major global investigation, they could gather enough data to answer some of the simpler questions.

In these three days of local movement, Minos and his women discovered their target had indeed passed through the planet, done business and even left traces behind. Whether Forfex had returned to the planet or was hiding on it now, it would still take a few days for these questions to be answered.

Meanwhile, they were waiting local city.

...

"So? Nothing today either?" Abby asked as she left a cultivation room amid waterfalls and a lush forest, the richest and most powerful place on the planet.

This place was for the leaders and richest people on the planet, so strong and protected that Minos doubted Forfex had passed through, as some reports they had heard over the last few days had said.

From what they discovered, the first passage and the only passage with reports of Forfex sightings in this world was before his advance to the 12th stage. That is, before he went to the last stage of Devdar's selection, before proving his theories and narrowly surviving the True Celestial test.

If he had returned to this world, that would be answered soon, hence Abby's question to the undead who were running this matter for them.

The undead revived by Abby, who had message transmission abilities capable of reaching different regions of the same continent without having to move, answered his mistress promptly. "No, nothing yet. But I feel we're getting closer to our answers. 70% of the planet has already been cleared and no sign of Senior Forfex has been found so far."

Ahead of Abby and the local undead—a gelatinous, glowing being—were Minos and Segiel, sitting around a small table, next to a cliff that led to the outskirts of this area.

"He probably made his breakthrough in Ceron," Minos said as Abby sighed in disappointment upon hearing the undead, having just finished her seventh day of seclusion here.

After hearing the preliminary information that the locals had gathered, as well as speaking to the individuals who had direct contact with Forfex, they had spent the last few days standing still while they let their undead work alongside the locals to scour the planet.

Given the amount of undead they could bring to life and their power, it would never be quicker for themselves to search for what their undead were searching for.

In the meantime, Minos had refined his theories as to where Forfex might have advanced and passed after the last phase of Devdar's inheritance. He now had a better idea of the fate of his group, where he thought he would find a clear trail to his old friend.

He looked at his two women, the only ones there with him apart from the undead in the surrounding area, and said, "Ceron is our next stop. There's a 75% chance that Forfex has evolved to the 12th stage there. And if that really is the world he advanced from, I'll find his trail with the Nautilus' Compass."

A few planets were in the likely destinations for Minos' group, but after he heard the things Forfex had done locally before leaving, he eliminated some alternatives. Forfex had prepared very specifically, buying resources to protect himself and taking advantage of the chances of submerged worlds, which, from the list of alternatives this group was looking for, only Ceron matched in terms of characteristics.

But Minos wasn't putting all his trust in this fate. Forfex was clever and could have made false preparations to fool enemies pursuing him. Minos remembered well how Forfex had warned him and Soli about the broccoli head man and the blind man, both of whom had tried to hunt him down in Zocarro after the last phase of Devdar's inheritance.

Still, Ceron was the most likely place for him to find Forfex's tracks now and he would first check that world before any other as soon as he left this planet.

The two women were excited by the idea that they would find Forfex's trail at their next stop, which would undeniably shorten their journey.

Until a few days ago, they had been on a journey without any clues. It could take them a month or 100 years to finish this mission and come face to face with the real version of Forfex. But now, that gap had shrunk significantly, and the two were confident that their husband could find Forfex in a few weeks at most.

Minos said to the two, "Let's just wait for the results from our men. Maybe we'll get lucky and find out that he actually came here after returning from the last phase of the inheritance. In that case, we'll be able to settle our affairs with him in a few more days at most."

This was an interesting possibility, but one they thought extremely unlikely. They were already at the end of their second week in this world and had found nothing. To think that they would find Forfex at the very end of their search was a bit of a stretch.

But the two agreed they had to wait before moving, aware that Forfex held the opportunity Minos needed to get closer to the 13th stage, but was also already powerful and certainly knew how to hide.

Segiel asked after a while of silent thought, "Can't you see the future of our explorations?"

He shook his head in denial. "Seeing my future has never been a problem for me since I gained my clairvoyant abilities. But our destinies are connected to the Upper Realm. Because we will reach it and be relevant parts of it, or because we will cause turmoil in the Upper Realm before we fail, I can't see much.

The most important things in our futures are protected by a powerful aura that I can't overcome. That's why I can only see smaller things. The more distant and more important future is inaccessible to me now," he said as he gazed up at the stars, almost as if he were watching chains wrap around him.

Reaching this point in his journey wasn't easy for Minos. Everything that was relevant to him seemed to have been sealed by these chains. Meanwhile, he could look at anyone and see his distant destination with little effort.

One reason he so easily agreed to leave his family in Zocarro 'unprotected' was precisely because he saw the future of his children, grandchildren, and even great-grandchildren.

For some reason, perhaps because of his actions before his departure from the Hell, or because of other things not connected to him, his enemies in the Hell would not reach his family.

As much as he didn't know the exact answer to why, he knew what was connected to such a fate.

'The Upper Realm...'

In that moment of Minos' rambling, the undead behind the communication of their underlings in this world moved, looking directly at Minos.

"Senior, I have updates on our search."
