Chapter 824 Did What He Can
(Terra Nova Online, The Forums)
As of today, less than five months remained until humanity reached planet Terra Nova, marking the end of their cosmic journey.
The countdown to a new world had begun, and for the hundreds of millions of players still immersed in Terra Nova Online, the transition was meant to be a dream come true—a fresh start in a land of endless opportunities, a utopia crafted for pioneers.
At least, that was what they had been sold.
Truth be told, Leo Skyshard had no interest in being a prophet or a public messenger. He had spent his entire life fighting for himself, making decisions based on what was best for him alone.
However, Amanda's words had struck a nerve, forcing him to confront a truth he hadn't realized— that he was no longer just a player.
He was an Emperor. A leader. The strongest warrior in Terra Nova Online.
And whether he liked it or not, people looked up to him.
So, against his usual instincts, Leo decided to give the people a warning.
Not as a savior.
Not as a saint.
But as someone who had seen behind the curtain and knew what was coming.
******
After logging into the game, the first thing Leo did was check the forums, where 4/5 posts were about his battle against the Demon King and the Black Dragon.
Predictable.
His fight had shaken the server, after all.
He scrolled through the top discussions, his eyes catching some of the most exaggerated, absurd, and downright hilarious takes from players still reeling from the battle:
— [User: TheRealChad]: "Bro, I swear, when TheBoss countered Void Breaker Slash, I saw my dead grandmother come back to life and whisper, 'he is HIM.' Like, this guy just played ping-pong with a semi-divine technique!"
— [User: DemonKingWeeps]: "DO Y'ALL REALIZE WHAT JUST HAPPENED??? The Black Dragon. The DEMON KING. TWO OF THE STRONGEST BEINGS IN THE GAME. And this madman spat in their faces and walked out with a dub like it was a casual Tuesday."
— [User: HolyFrogCult]: "DUMPY. MY LORD. MY SAVIOR. YOU HAVE OPENED MY EYES. FROM THIS DAY FORWARD, I SHALL PRAY TO THE GREEN FROG OF SALVATION. ALL HAIL LORD DUMPY!"
— [User: NPCFearsMe]: "Am I the only one who noticed that TheBoss literally laughed in the face of the Black Sun? Like, bruh. WHO DOES THAT???"
— [User: SweatyTryhard]: "Y'all don't understand. We witnessed a historic moment. People are gonna be talking about this fight for YEARS. TheBoss just redefined what it means to be overpowered in this game."
Leo smirked as he read the posts, his ego thoroughly satisfied.
"Looks like I'm not the only one who thinks Dumpy is the GOAT," Leo murmured, as he hoped that he could someday show Dumpy these chats in the real world, just to show him how popular he was.
He scrolled for a while, letting the praise and wild speculation of the server wash over him, until he was satisfied, which was when he clicked on the 'Create New Post' button for the first time ever.
The moment Leo's 'TheBoss is typing…' notification appeared, the entire forum froze.
He had never posted on the forums before from this account, and within seconds of players noticing it, the active user count on the forums skyrocketed, thousands of players refreshing the page in real-time, waiting for the Emperor's words.
— [User: ForumGoblin]: "H-HOLY SHIT, HE'S TYPING???"
— [User: ConspiracyMancer]: "EVERYONE SHUT THE HELL UP. THE GOD OF WAR IS ABOUT TO SPEAK."
— [User: WheresMyMana]: "If this is just him flexing about the fight, I'm still down, but I SWEAR—"
And then, Leo hit the send button.

[ Title: The Future You're Not Ready For.

(Disclaimer:- If you want to believe the words I'm about to post below, you can believe them, and if you don't want to and continue living in a bubble, I don't care for it either.
I'm making this post mostly for the members of the Uprising Guild who have supported me from day one, however, I'm posting it publicly so that those not within the uprising may also not remain uninformed.
However, if you have any problems with it, keep it to yourself, because I'm not going to entertain any replies beneath this post.
That being said, here is my grim warning for all )
For years, we've been told that Terra Nova is a paradise. A new world where we get to start fresh, free from the limitations of Earth. No debts. No poverty. No corruption. Just opportunity.
A new life, right?
Wrong.
Here's the truth they don't want you to know.
The moment we step off those ships, we're not going to be free.
We're going to be classified.
Organizations have already been preparing for this moment. The biggest players, the strongest fighters, the most skilled crafters—they'll be scouted, recruited, and absorbed into the most powerful factions within days. If you think you're just going to walk into the world and do whatever you want, you're delusional.
Those in higher sectors will have better-paying opportunities. Those in lower sectors will struggle to survive.
Yes, we'll all receive 'starter homes' and resources when we land. But those homes? They're in pre-built colonies, controlled by local governments and private corporations.
You will still have to work to sustain yourself. You will still have to fight to keep what's yours. And most of all—you will not be safe.
Terra Nova isn't just some game world we can log out of anymore. It's a new planet, with its own dangers, its own rules, and its own hidden threats.
The laws of Earth don't apply there and the 'human rights' that we are used to, don't really apply.
Our primary role in the new planet is that of migrant workers to move the economy and to replenish the war machine, and nothing else.
So prepare now. Train now. Think about what comes after this game, because if you're not ready—
You're most likely going to end up dead.

The moment Leo hit POST, the forums exploded.
The comment section flooded with reactions, ranging from pure panic to outright denial:
— [User: RealityCheck]: "HOLY SHIT. WE'RE SCREWED. WE ARE ACTUALLY SCREWED."
— [User: DenialGang]: "Nah, this is just fearmongering. The devs wouldn't let this happen. Right? RIGHT???"
— [User: CorporateShill]: "Sounds like a skill issue. Get good, peasants."
— [User: NoobHunter]: "Welp, guess I'm grinding every waking moment till we land. Ain't no way I'm getting stuck as a bottom feeder for the rest of my life."
— [User: TheGovernmentLied]: "So you're telling me I spent 4 years grinding my ass off, thinking I was gonna get a carefree retirement on Terra Nova, only to find out it's just Earth 2.0 but worse?!"
— [User: IAmAFool]: "Can someone else confirm this? Why do I feel like TheBoss is just doing this to get back at the righteous faction players? And to hassle them? I mean this can't be true right?"
The common netizens wondered, as Leo's post quickly got pinned to the top of the forums, with his threats being spread rapidly.
For a while, Leo watched the reactions of everyone under his post, but he soon got bored and closed the chat, thinking that he had done what he could and now the rest was up to them.
