Chapter 144 Mom, Is That Really You
Chapter 144 Mom, Is That Really You
Three damsels and Li Hua stood wide-eyed, gazing at the otherworldly beauty beside Kent. They couldn't believe their eyes.
However, the fact that they were standing upright showed they weren't entirely lost in their shock. They were, without a shred of doubt, stunned.
Kent and Elsa had just arrived at the other mansion, where Saintess Selene, Unity, Lilian, and Li Hua were spending the morning tasting various flavours of banana cakes she had baked.
When Klaus told them the otherworldly beauty was the former Cynthia, they were all stunned—Li Hua merely imitated their expressions.
But their shock was unmistakable.
"Mom, is that really you?" Lilian asked, trying to confirm.
Elsa laughed at Lilian's question. "I think it would be best if you just refer to me as Elsa. But to answer your question—yes, I am still your mother, though I am also a new version of myself."
Her explanation was clear. Kent just smiled, knowing although she had a new body, her milk was still there for him to have his fill whenever he wanted.
It seemed the universe was on his side.
"What happened?" Saintess Selene asked. She appeared composed on the surface, but inwardly, she was very shocked—and jealous.
They all were.
Looking at the silver-haired beauty beside Klaus, who not only regained her maidenhood with a new body but also became stronger and more beautiful and de-aged, filled them with envy.
"One thing led to another, and Cynthia became Elsa. Cool, right?" Kent laughed as he said that.
He didn't know how to explain everything to them, but he also didn't want to make it seem like he could easily do what he did to Elsa to them.
It was a process, and his hands were tied without the token and a suitable true name. Of course, the tower had told him all his women would receive a true name. But as to how it would happen would depend on when.
"I see. Then can you make us look more beautiful too?" Unity asked.
Kent just smiled and shook his head. "For now, I can't promise, but don't worry, I will soon make you ladies not only beautiful but also very strong."
Kent knew he didn't have to give false hope, but he also wouldn't tell them he couldn't do it. Of course, he could do it; it would just take a couple of months at most.
But he was sure they would forget about this for now once he took them to the tower.
As for whether he should take his master, too, despite her not being part of the harem yet, that would depend on whether he trusted her enough.
Kent didn't want to answer any more questions, so he let the ladies talk while he took Li Hua to see what she had cooked up while he was away on business—literally.
Kent knew that when night came, Unity and Lilian would request he transform them, too, but he didn't have the means yet. So, he left them to talk with Elsa. Saintess Selene even joined in on the talk.
After eating all the banana cake to replenish his energy, he took Li Hua outside to catch a cool breeze, allowing Gaia to scan her body and determine what cure she needed.
In the end, he had to plant a tracker in her and use it to determine once it surfaced. He couldn't get any information on her, but with the tracker, he was sure things would be figured out soon.
He then returned with Li Hua, and after spending some more time with the ladies, he left to explore the remaining areas of the tower.
It would be a few hours until nightfall, meaning he has days to check everything and even scan the entire store, memorizing the details of everything on sale.

Meanwhile, around 5 pm the same day, a few miles away from the Alderford Mansion, 12 figures—3 Root Great Sages and 9 Root Sages—each wearing dark clothes and a mask, could be seen camped out.
They looked suspicious, which meant they were about to do something suspicious.
They all wore masks, but from how they were looking toward the Alderford mansion, it seemed that was their destination.
These figures were the men sent by the Dark Devil Church to kill everyone at the Alderford Mansion. Their mission was to eliminate them all.
"When night falls, we will use the cover of darkness to hunt them like we do and make sure no trace leads back to us," one of the Root Great Sages said, making the 9 Root Sages nod in agreement.
They were professionals, so they knew when to act and when to retreat. This had to be a successful mission, or their butts would be on the line.
"We move out at ten. The three of us will make sure the saintess is handled, so don't make any mistakes on your end."
The nine figures nodded and started preparing ahead of time. With a team like theirs, things should work out well—right?

"Gaia, I think you're trying to scam me. How can a simple sex magazine cost 10,000 tower points?" Kent said, looking at the screen of a magazine that contained sex-related content.
Unity had used the connection between them to tell her about the struggles of his master, and he wanted to help her. He had read loads of these magazines back on Earth, so he knew they would be perfect for her.
The problem, however, was the price tag Gaia had plastered on it.
[I think the master is forgetting something. Acquiring these magazines involves travelling across dimensions. 10k tower points is even cheap.]
Kent scoffed, knowing the unruly tower was just being a hard ass.
"How about this: you give me this for free, and I'll allow you to develop the new tower prison design.
I won't argue with whatever design you come up with," Kent offered, knowing the tower wasn't the usual system and didn't compromise.
[Deal. But throw in a perk. How about you let me play with the little human? I mean, you'll need a babysitter while you get freaky with your women.]
"Deal," Kent smiled.
The magazine was transferred to his tower storage. Also, his pain of carrying the little human around had now been resolved.
If only he realized Gaia only offered because she found an interest in how Li Hua always managed to extort money from Kent.
In a few days' time, he would find out the prices of things in the store would be changed again, and this time, the bargaining would be done by none other than the future lethal assassins who would shake the hearts of immortals.
Kent went on for days inside the tower until the clock struck 9 pm outside. He was planning to leave, but then Gaia gave him news that made him smile slightly.
Gaia had just informed him that he would soon have visitors who like to walk at night.
Of course, Kent expected something like that, so he had made Gaia monitor miles around the mansion. Now, he had new fish to fry.
Kent didn't immediately leave; instead, he began planning how to handle the visitors, who had no idea they had been discovered.
