Yuan Rihui grinned and answered, "This morning, the Institute of Agriculture announced the development of new plants that can grow with minimal light. They are calling them Night Moss and Glowing Mushrooms."

Hearing this, Yao Ran raised an eyebrow skeptically. "Can those things be eaten?"

Understanding her doubt, Yuan Rihui said, "Don't judge them by their names, Miss Yao. I heard that soldiers had already tasted them before the Institute of Agriculture made this announcement."

Hearing what he said, Yao Ran pondered for a moment and asked, "Since they are announcing it to the public, does that mean they will distribute the Night Moss and Glowing Mushrooms as well?"

"Yes. I have found out that they will start distribution at noon," Yuan Rihui confirmed, then added, "Should we go together later?"

Curious about these new crops, Yao Ran agreed. "Alright. I will let A Yu and the others know. Let's meet at the entrance at eleven."

After seeing Yuan Rihui off, Yao Ran headed to the third-floor training room, where Long Yu and the others were practicing.

Yao Ran smiled at his words. "Great."

She then glanced at the others and added, "Tell A Yu and the others to come down for breakfast in thirty minutes."

Shi Xuan made an OK gesture when he said, "Got it."

At noon, Yao Ran and the others left the villa, leaving five people behind to guard it. On their way, they noticed many survivors heading out as well.

Walking down the dimly lit street, Yao Ran observed the other survivors. Most of them had their faces covered and carried weapons, and they walked with vigilance and a hostile aura.

When they reached the entrance of the central district, Yuan Rihui and his men were already waiting for them.

Seeing Yao Ran and her group approaching, Yuan Rihui waved at them. "Miss Yao, Brother Long, over here!"

Yao Ran nodded in greeting and asked, "Have you been waiting long?"
