The technique that Rain practiced, fighting with his arms crossed, was actually inspired by a character from Earth who was renowned for his pride in his speed and unique combat style. Rain admired this character's prowess, particularly how this stance allowed for a swift defense and quick retaliation. "You look troubled all of a sudden. What is wrong?" Branden asked.

"It is nothing. Sorry for not talking with you two that much," Rain said. "I also like to keep myself busy because my mind takes me to annoying places when I am not busy with anything."

"That is a relief. I thought that you were someone completely incapable of feeling worries or insecurities," Branden said. "You taught me a lot of things, so let me teach you something as well. If you look too much into the future, you will lose sight of the present."

"... Surprisingly wise words," Rain said while nodding. "Not bad."

"I am five years older than you… it isn't surprising at all," Branden rubbed his eyes. "Anyway, don't think too much about things beyond your control. We are going to win this, and if we fail, we will probably die before we see everything we worked for crumble in the hands of our enemies."

"That is something very… hopeful," Train frowned.

"I do have my moments," Branden said shrugged.

"Why guys can't just relax on a day off and talk about ordinary things?" Terra whispered. "The mood feels so heavy now."

"Dad always said that men don't want to look weak in front of their women, that must be why," Seara said.

"I am worried about you two…" Esmeralda said after blinking several times. "You have been married for many years, but it seems that you two still have a lot to learn."

The talk prompted Rain to recognize the need for relaxation and downtime, yet despite this realization, he fought with a persistent feeling that hindered his ability to truly unwind. His logical side emphasized the importance of relaxation for his well-being, acknowledging the necessity of taking breaks and recharging.

However, a strong sense of duty, responsibility, and perhaps a hint of urgency pressed him in the opposite direction.

Despite understanding the logic behind allowing oneself to relax, Rain found it challenging to heed that advice due to his overwhelming sense of duty. The weight of responsibilities and obligations constantly tugged at him, making it difficult to fully embrace the idea of unwinding and taking time off.

Thus, even though he recognized the necessity of relaxation, the demands of his duties made it challenging to prioritize his own rest and leisure.

In the end, Rain was able to relax doing something productive, which was focusing on improving the technique of the sea dragons. He didn't know if he was following the right path, but he was making some progress. After staying half a day in a state of awareness while sleeping as well, he was able to sense his body accumulating the energy and the results were obvious.
