Rain groaned in annoyance as the monster followed with another sideway tail attack… it could only do a few things, but each attack probably could decimate armies since it was so strong and heavy.

"A close confrontation is a waste of time…" Rain thought. "Still, with this size... anything else is a problem as well."

Rain canceled his ice armor since it consumed too much mana and then assumed a defensive stance with his palms pointed at the giant beast. Rain could see in the eyes of the monster how much the creature found that amusing… as if any defensive stance would make a difference in that scenario.

The beast jumped away to smash Rain again, but he kept his posture until the last moment… when the monster thought that Rain was a goner, he used Impulse and then stopped five hundred meters away while his body was emitting a lot of steam… the attacks of the monster raised a lot of dust in the area, and Rain collided with a bunch of that and thanks to it, his body began to heat.

Nevertheless, Rain kept his stance and waited for the monster… the leviathan dragon knew that Rain was in a hurry, so such a move wasn't the best.
