Chapter 1054 Chance Encounter-1

While Samuel was busy getting the shock of his life, Elise and two elders were enjoying a leisure stroll around the city. Contrary to what Samuel thought, Eleanor already knew the complete sleep cycle of Elise and was ready to pick her up first thing in the morning.

It was because of her eccentric personality that he always forgets that Eleanor was one of the most competent people in the world. From business to family, she had been managing it for decades which was why Morgan family wasn't showing any signs of decline even in such a sluggish economy.

She raised her two boys herself and she was proud that at least one of them turned out to reliable, she wasn't sure about the younger one because he was still running around without any sign of getting married. For her, it was okay for them to enjoy themselves but he was already in his early thirties. His younger son should learn few things from his brother and Samuel!

She was quite adapt in dealing with kids. As a self proclaimed 'fun' grandmother, how could she not plan few things ahead of time. Kayla and Mayra had already 'reluctantly' agreed to let her take Elise to the States where she would be able to connect to the kind of family she was 'born' into.

As soon as Samuel left with Katarina, Helga and Genevieve, Eleanor was knocking on Mayra's flat with breakfast in hand. Kayla's grandmother had already finished walking Ash so she too met up with the early visitor.

They waited in the living room waiting for little girl to wake up. Elise was surprised to see Eleanor so early in the morning but she began to warm up to the old lady who was much better than certain someone who had been 'ignoring' her a lot lately.

Eleanor went above and beyond while Samuel was always busy, it was no brainer which a child would like more. Not to mention the breakfast she bought was french toast, her favorite food. In her eyes, Eleanor's place elevated several level much closer to yesterday!

The old lady was also happy seeing the little girl munch on it greedily. It was safe to say that she harassed the chefs of the hotel she was staying in to make it to the best of their abilities. Normally, such a request was nothing for hotel of their caliber, after all it was among the top hotel in Paris with a history of over hundred years!

But Eleanor wasn't done with them, she watched them closely in the kitchen and asked their top chef to make the meal exactly how she liked it not to mention they needed to time it perfectly so that she could take it immediately so that it didn't get cold during her journey here.

The junior staff were perplexed by her request but they were professionally trained which led them to call the general manager. When they person in charge found out which room number needed assist he turned pale.

It's not that they never had influential people stay in their hotel before, after all it was famous hotel. From foreign dignitaries to billionaires, they hosted people from all walks of life. They had certain background to deal with these people even stand aloof when their guest were unreasonable. There was one time when one wealthy guest tried to harass one of the cleaning lady, he was thrown out and blacklisted directly. They went as far as to ban him from entering other chain hotels around the world.

The person was recent billionaire and tried to use his influence to hit back at the Group which the hotel was under only to find that the industry which he looked on was known for their strong connections. Chain hotels are notoriously hard to run, they had to follow local government's law and also change their 'culture' around the world to better fit in with local people.

Sometimes, money wasn't enough. What he needed was strong connection even then, it would be hard for him to do anything regarding the ban. In the end, he had to swallow his pride and apologize publicly since the hotel was threatening to release the surveillance video to the public because the person was brazen enough to do such things in the corridor!

Even with such a incident happening in the past, in front of Eleanor the general manager of the establishment was standing there like some lost puppy listening to her demands. He never dared to say anything because he was instructed by his superior who was instructed by his superior to never offend her. Even if she burned down the whole place, it would be okay. The reason was simple, they didn't want to deal with the wrath of original Demoness!

Although, in recent years she had took a backseat and never made any appearance in public but all the insiders knew that she wasn't someone they could mess with. The person who could give birth to the demoness, Laura had to someone so formidable that they wouldn't be able to do anything against her.

Many elite business schools around the world would teach how she manage to dismantle whole corporations without even lifting a finger or how she was able to solve many financial crisis by including ingenious ideas and utilizing loopholes that other didn't even know existed. There were countless tales about her exploits when she was young and those that lived enough vividly remember many financial 'wars' that were led with her at the helm. The Morgans were only at the forefront because of her many sacrifices in the past.

No matter whether it was due to respect or fear, the general manager followed her every instruction and personally dropped her off at the entrance. He also instructed all the staff members to do the same, they needed to work extra hard but if they fulfilled this mission he agreed to provide them generous bonus at the end of month!

Whatever happened in the background, Eleanor didn't care about them one bit. She watched Elise eat her breakfast happily and asked," So, Elise what do you want to do today?"

" Ummm?" The little girl eyes blinked rapidly as she thought about it but after few seconds, it shone brightly because she found her answer.

" Grandma, can we go to amusement park? I never been to one." She said with her head drooping slightly.

" Of course!" Eleanor said resolutely. How could she ever refuse her request when she acted so cute in front of her? She even invited Kayla's grandmother to go along with them. Since the youngsters were busy, two old ladies and a cheerful kid soon embarked on a merry trip.
