Chapter 1055 Chance Encounter-2

One would think, Eleanor would take her to some fancy high end place for kids where she could enjoy without worrying about safety but Kayla's grandmother suggested that Eleanor was thinking too much. In a place where there were countless kids running around while their parents followed them always keeping an eye on them, who would care to stop and look at Eleanor?

There was no need for her to hide behind her mask all the time worrying about getting recognized. They just needed to dress 'modestly'. It was so that others' wouldn't think that they were from wealthy family and could easily blend in with the crowd.

Both old ladies were about the same age but they had maintained themselves which was why they looked quite younger than their actual age. They didn't realize that no matter if they were recognized or not people would still look at them because of their never-aging beauty! Not to mention, Eleanor had natural noble temperament which tend to converge other's line of sight toward her involuntarily.

But now that they already set off from home, they didn't need to think too much about it. Eleanor had people escorting them so even if in case of emergency, they could bolt out of the place in case of emergency.

Elise sat on her lap holding a small fluffy toy that she got for her when they first met. It was half the size of her and the little girl liked to take it around since it was still new and she didn't grow tired of it yet. While she fiddled with the toy, Eleanor patted her head.

" Are you sure? I can arrange few ticket to Disneyland. It would be much easier and hassle free." Eleanor commented. She didn't know why Mathilda, Kayla's grandmother insisted on choosing such a destination for their first stop.

" Well, you can get some tickets but I wanted her to see the Sainte-Chapelle first. I have been meaning to take her there and this is the perfect chance. You would take her away and after that she would need to start learning, there would be less and less time for her to wander outside." Mathilda added.

" Nonsense, she doesn't need to work so hard at such a young age. Let her enjoy her childhood. Still, I never thought you were a believer."

" Believer? Hardly, it's just the place is quite beautiful especially in the morning when there are less tourists. I want to show her various places so that she could understand there is much to learn about the world." Mathilda knew that if it was up to Eleanor, she could transform Elise into the perfect spoiled princess in few years but with how tragic the little girl's past was, she always thought Elise would need much more support in future.

Whether god or devil existed in the world or not, she knew if people didn't follow any rules the world would turn into a chaotic place. Maybe theology was there as a barrier so that everyone didn't lose their mind. Not to mention, it also helps people in time of need to believe in something greater than oneself could lead some miraculous life journey.

Secondly, Sainte-Chapelle was really a serene place. Mathilda wanted to revisit it herself so it killed two birds with one stone!

" Alright, it's been years since I visited that place but I know some people that could help us." Eleanor added mysteriously.

" What do you mean?"

" Nothing, we could visit some additional places and also could have few minutes to ourselves which would be good to take few photos inside. After all, how could we not commemorate such a important event?" Eleanor said like it was the most natural thing to do. Could she really ask someone to let the tourist wait outside? The place had a ticket system and also a guided tour option, if they really delayed others they would surely curse them to death!

" Would that be alright? I mean we could-"

" Relax, relax, there is no need to worry about it." She waved her hand dismissing Mathilda and took out her phone and said few words before hanging up. Mathilda was reminded again, even though she and Eleanor were both considered 'rich', they lived in two different worlds.

She didn't even know that things could be done this way. She had heard her granddaughter, Kayla talk about how Samuel did things in unusual ways but always gets result regardless of the situation he was in like one time when he got arrested and the news was plastered all over the city! Even so now that she thought about it people seemed to have completely forgot about that incident. It only happened few months ago!

She could only smile bitterly going with Eleanor's flow and changing the subject to something that wouldn't change her worldview!

The Sainte-Chapelle often called the Holy chapel, was a royal chapel in the Gothic style, within the medieval Palais de la Cite, the residence of the Kings of France until the 14th century, in the River Seine in Paris.

It didn't take long for them to reach the place. Although there were some traffic but the driver was constantly fed the perfect route to reach the location. It was something that they did after yesterday's fiasco where they struggled to keep up with their client while led to Elise getting in a dangerous situation.

Eleanor was accommodating to their mistake but they knew that if they made the same mistake again, they would surely be fired and would be labelled incompetent. It would be hard for them to again serve such a influential client because of their track record, not to mention they would first need to deal with Eleanor's fury if something did happen to Elise!
