After the meeting he found Nicole and urged her to seperate those that wanted to stay and those that wanted to leave.

She straightout told him not to worry about it because she would be here to oversee everything. With so much support system around her and Anastasiya actively helping them, he put his mind to ease about the girls he rescued. Since she wanted to prove herself, he wouldn’t hamper her.

Since there was still a lot of daytime left, he decided to head out. First he called Lucie to tell her about visiting his place in his absence. She would act as a liaison so that Nicole didn’t have to venture out.

Lucie had became a integral part of his day to day operations, almost like his right hand woman. Everything related to what happened in this country passed through her. He also thought that she had came a long way from a common Amex operator to managing his transgressions with ease.

" Did you take care of them?" He asked by the end of their conversation. He didn’t want to alarm her or give her any mix signals if she was still in contact with them.

" It’s done. They flew out yesterday. I also arranged for few people to look after them until they arrive at their respective homes." She replied seriously.

" Hmm. Good work. You have been very helpful so expect a big bonus by the end of the week."

" It’s not necessary young master. These are trivial things. You are paying me more than enough-"

" Should I cut it down then?"

" No!" She shouted feeling distressed. He chuckled and said that he was just joking.

Lucie might have made some money but it was no where enough for her to settle down. She was approaching thirty with a marriage looming over her head, she was planning to save up some money because her boyfriend didn’t make even a fraction of what she made over this pass few months.

" I will call you if I need something for now you can rest." He hung up the phone and started heading toward the city.

He was obviously enquiring about Helga, Katarina, Alana and Roberta. Even after what happened, he cared about them in his own way. He shook his head remembering their happy faces but soon stopped himself.

Everyone had their own path in life, he didn’t want to become a burden to them especially when he was in the wrong. It was better to part ways than to force something that everyone would regret in the future.

" So? I see that you have been looking for me? I half expected that you already forget about me long ago." Delphina sat opposite to him with Alexis by her side.

They earnestly started cooperating after the fashion party. What they expected didn’t happen, Samuel was safe and sound and with the news of him holding no-voting shares in the company, the downward trend of the share quickly reversed.

Delphina had been cemented her position for the past few days but what was most on her mind was Samuel’s well being. He didn’t even call to tell them that he was okay, she was to find it out from other sources. Now he visited her office like he did nothing wrong! How could she not be angry?

" Favorite business partner? How come I didn’t even recieve a single call after you vanished that night? Do you know how worried we were and not to mention if you really care about something as lowly as business you wouldn’t be making such rash decisions! It could have been a disaster!

It wasn’t just about business but what could she tell him. Sharon kept on insisting not to worry about him because she could tell he was capable but Delphina was different.

Meanwhile Alexis who was sitting beside her was smiling from ear to ear. It was nice to see someone berate the smug bastard, it was a small concession from her long standing grievance before they teamed up!

" I am sorry, a lot happened these past few days. There might have been unforseen consequences, if I careless contacted you." What he told was the truth after all he couldn’t predict how Rockefellers would react, he still didn’t understand their complete indifference to him practically beating up their successor even if he deserved it!

" Fine, I will not say anything. Why are you here?" Delphina couldn’t care less when he was being so nonchalant about it. It was a private event after all.

" Just saying goodbye. I am planning to return after around this week."
