Chapter 1291: Demanding an answer

Xiao Hua turned silent. He knew what Yu Dong was saying was indeed correct, they couldn’t just wait for Lin Hanjing to come out of his shell unless he was willing to step out of the shadows of his fears. Yu Tong showed up at their house every single day without a pause, all because she wanted to show Lin Hanjing her sincere intentions.

If Lin Hanjing was not even willing to take the first step that was needed, then there was no point in even trying to help him. Lin Hanjing had to face these fears on his own and come to a decision. If he continued with his current attitude, then sooner or later Yu Tong herself would give up on him.

He pursed his lips and didn’t quibble with Yu Dong which was a rare sight as Xiao Hua hardly ever stopped quarrelling unless he won in the end.

"I will leave the matter of making Hanjing agree in your hands," said Yu Dong. She had already come up with a plan to deal with Second Madam Yu but for that plan to be implemented, Yu Tong and Lin Hanjing need to get married first.

Xiao Hua opened his mouth to say that he couldn’t do but then Yu Dong smiled at him. It was one of those beautiful smiles that made him completely crazy, he then heard her say, "I can leave this matter to you, right Hua’er?"

"Yes, you can," Xiao Hua nodded his head in a daze and his daze intensified even more when Yu Dong reached out and then held his cheeks. She caressed his lips with her thumb and then scrunched up her nose before saying, "I knew that I could leave it to you."

"Now go and make Hanjing agree to marry Ah Tong, alright?" Yu Dong patted him on the shoulders and Xiao Hua walked out of the house in a daze, behind him Shen Li and the rest looked at Yu Dong like she was a scum.

"What?" She questioned when she saw them looking at her as if she was up to no good.

"You used your seduction skills to make that poor mer take up the task that you wanted to do the least," Ye Liu pointed out at once, he knew that the reason his wife turned up her charms just now was to make Xiao Hua agree with her.

Unless she wanted something she would never act so blatantly charming. It was all because she needed Xiao Hua to do her bidding and she was willing to be so loving with him.

Her love came with a price after all.

Yu Dong looked at him before sighing. She then shook her head and then said, "Of course not. However, if I were to make Hanjing agree, it would include a knockout drug, a sack and a rope. That is why I asked Hua Hua to take the lead first. If he fails then I will certainly take the task in my hands."

At first, the mers did not react but then their eyes widened as they looked at Yu Dong who smiled at them.

"Who knows?" Yu Dong with a beaming smile. "I hate trouble the most so if the two of them cause me any more trouble than I intend to take … then I will have no other choice but to resort to violence."

"What did you say? Miss Tong is getting married?" Lin Hanjing felt his heart drop when he heard Xiao Hua say that Yu Tong was now engaged in her will. Behind him, Ye Liu and Chen Mi also frowned.

They couldn’t believe that Lin Hanjing was this calm at the moment. Yu Tong had been chasing after him for ages, at least she should have left some impression on his heart. Or did Lin Hanjing take Yu Tong as some sort of pest? Was this why he was looking this calm?

"You…." Xiao Hua pulled his hair as he walked in a circle out of frustration while Ye Liu remarked, "Hanjing, Ah Tong is serious about you. Why don’t you think this thoroughly? You can give us your answer tomorrow. There is no need for you to worry, if you agree then you can leave everything to my wife. She will deal with everything."

Lin Hanjing said nothing as he closed his eyes and then refused to speak anymore.
