Most of the officials were surprised by the rewards especially when his promotion was mentioned.

Fredrinn already knew that he would receive a military title, but he was surprised that the king would bestow him with a ton of orichalcum ore.

The king grinned, clearly pleased with his words.

From the looks of it, the king supported their marriage.

The king walked down the stage and stood in front of Fredrinn. "I will prepare the dowry. You can look forward to it." He grinned as he patted Fredrinn's shoulder.
