Chapter 190 Award Ceremony
Chapter 190 Award Ceremony
After the celebration of the birth of his sister, Gwenaelle Firecrown, Fredrinn was summoned by the king to receive the rewards for his contribution to the northern borders.
"Are you heading to the capital again? You just came home." Margaret stared at her son with a worried gaze.
She had just given birth recently, but her complexion had already returned to normal. She even broke through to the Nascent Soul realm because of the numerous tonics and herbs that Fredrinn had provided. Her cultivation directly shot up to the 2nd layer of the Nascent Soul realm!
It wasn't just her who had advanced by leaps and bounds, almost everyone in the estate achieved a breakthrough.
Marcus Firecrown, Fredrinn's grandfather and the current grand elder of the household was now at the 10th layer of the Nascent Soul realm.
Meanwhile, the patriarch, Roland Firecrown was at the 8th layer.
"Relax, honey. Our son is just heading to the capital to claim his rewards from His Majesty for his contributions in the recent war at the northern border."
Roland held his wife's hand and reassured her.
"Don't worry, mom. It's just as Father has said. I will only go there to get my rewards from His Majesty. I will be back once the award ceremony is over." Fredrinn chimed in.
When Margaret heard their heads, her eyebrows relaxed a bit. "Is that so? Then you must promise me that you will return soon."
"Yes, mother. I promise that I will return soon." Fredrinn nodded with a smile.
Your journey continues with empire
"Good!"
"When are you leaving?" Roland asked while looking at his son with a serious face.
After the birth of Gwenaelle and the recent boom in the Firecrown Supreme Household's power, Roland felt that his cultivation was increasing very rapidly.
He never dreamed of advancing to the Void Tempering realm before, but it didn't feel like a far-fetched idea now.
"I will leave at once." Fredrinn calmly responded.
This was the king's summons so he couldn't let the king wait for him. It would be disrespectful and it might make the royal family displeased.
Roland was taken aback by his response, but he soon understood his son's worries.
"I see. You must dress properly when you meet His Majesty. You must not disrespect him in the slightest." He reminded.
"Yes, father. You don't have to worry. I'm not that reckless." Fredrinn chuckled.
Roland smiled at his words. "It seems like my worries are unnecessary."
"Be careful on your trip, son." He patted Fredrinn's shoulder.
Fredrinn nodded and lowered his head. "I'll go and prepare for the trip."
"Alright."
Fredrinn went back to his room to get changed. He wore a different yishang this time, one that was flashy and eye-catching.
He didn't want to wear it because it was tacky, but it was the best option for the award ceremony since there would be important figures present including the king and the members of the royal family.
He had to show them the flair of the Firecrown Supreme Household's heir.
Fredrinn stared at his reflection in the mirror with a satisfied smile.
"No wonder the princess is smitten by my looks. This face is indeed a bit too handsome."
He smugly remarked while fixing his hair.
After making his preparations, Fredrinn went to see everyone and bid them farewell.
Surprisingly, almost all the important members of the household were present. Both Lucas and Samantha were also there to see him off.
"I'm only going there for a short trip, everyone. There's no need to see me off like this." Fredrinn wryly smiled when he saw the large crowd waiting outside the mansion.
"What are you embarrassed about?" Roland laughed upon seeing the expression on his face.
Fredrinn chatted with them for some time before he bid everyone farewell.
For this trip, he didn't plan on bringing anyone with him.
Fredrinn summoned the Barbaric Blade Pegasus using the Flute of the Beast Whisperer.
The arrival of this powerful magical beast stunned the crowd.
Seeing their shocked faces, Fredrinn chuckled and didn't provide any explanation. He just hopped onto the beast and shouted.
"Goodbye, everyone!"
He waved his hand and instructed the magical beast to soar into the sky.
Swoosh!
"That kid. When did he get another powerful mount?" Roland's mouth twitched in jealousy.
"Look at you drooling like a fool. Do you like it that much?" Margaret chuckled.

With the speed of the Barbaric Blade Pegasus, Fredrinn reached the capital in just less than two hours.
Flying was prohibited in the capital so he instructed the pegasus to land at the entrance which scared the queuing people and the gate guards.
"General Fredrinn!" Exclaimed one of the gate guards who recognized Fredrinn's face.
Fredrinn was no longer an unknown individual in the kingdom. He had already become a famous figure, not just to the younger generation, but also to people of all ages.
After all, his exploits were broadcasted to the whole populace so almost everyone had heard about him.
The crowd gasped in surprise when they heard the gate guard's exclamation.
They all stared at Fredrinn in awe and worship.
This guy was the youngest General in the history of the kingdom!
Fredrinn waved at the crowd before he nodded at the gate guards.
"It's an honor to see you, General Fredrinn!" The gate guards greeted him respectfully.
"Good work, everyone! I still have important things to do at the capital so I will take my leave first." Fredrinn urged his mount to walk inside.
No one stopped him. They all just stared at him with veneration.
"So that's General Fredrinn… He's so cool! Even his mount is cool!"
"Amazing! I didn't expect that I would see General Fredrinn today! How lucky!"
Fredrinn didn't linger and headed straight to the castle.
'His Majesty should already be aware that I am here…' Fredrinn thought to himself.
He noticed one of the gate guards sending a messenger falcon upon his arrival.
He guessed that it was a message sent to the king to inform him about his arrival.
Because of his fierce and majestic mount, he quickly attracted the attention of the crowd.
Luckily, everyone maintained a safe distance from him, probably out of fear for his mount.
