Chapter 128 Her dream

"Did you really find him?" That was the question flying through her mind at the moment. If she had the chance to see her baby again, no matter how small, she would trade it for the world.

"Yes, I found him. A long time ago, actually, but I had to wait for his soul to recover a bit before transporting him to me. With the help of the soul marriage we did, I was able to find him quickly." A tear left Sylvara's eye as she finally had the chance to meet her son again. Where is he now?"

She asked with teary eyes. Ella smiled, took her hand, and pulled her as she began walking. After walking momentarily, she teleported them both toward Elysium, Jack's home planet. On one of the nearby planets, Elysium was covered with water. While it could be that the planet was ever inhabitable for humans, it wasn't now.

Ella pov

The whole planet is covered in water, with only some islands sticking out. On that planet, two women appeared, one with pink hair and blue eyes and the other with dark blue hair and sapphire blue eyes. They both appeared out of nowhere on one of the few islands on the planet. "You can sense him now, right?"

I asked Sylvara, but I knew just by the look on her face that she could. The bond that this woman had with her son was special. While she loved him a lot, they never did anything that Jack was doing with his mother in this life, even though he was a god of sex. "I want you to go and meet him, but I want to say a few things first."

Sylvara looked at me with lost eyes, and the hope in her eyes that had been gone for so long had finally started to spark again. "Firstly, you should know that he doesn't go by the name Caelir anymore. That name was lost the moment he died and had to be revived." A sad expression appeared on Sylvara's face.

How could there not be one? The name that she had so carefully picked out was now gone. "What is his new name?" She knew that the name was lost, but she just wanted to know what replaced it. "His name now is Jack, but I have a feeling that he will replace that name soon enough when he reaches godhood again."

"Godhood? You mean that he is already almost at godhood again?" She asked with big eyes. Sylvara had a shocked expression on her face. She didn't expect that her son, who she thought was dead, was now revived thanks to her daughter-in-law and was already on his way to becoming a god again.

"Yes, he is close to becoming a Demi-god at the moment, but with the help I gave him, he should be able to overcome that roadblock to godhood fairly easily. I even gave him the artifacts and energy from that one ruin that we found some time back." Sylvara didn't expect her to prepare so thoroughly, but she was glad her son had such a good wife.

"Is there anything else you should tell me? " Her shocked expression faded and was replaced by the calm face that I was used to. But even though she had a calm face, I could feel the expectant eyes staring at me.

"Yes, one more thing. While I couldn't revive him directly, I could reincarnate him through one of the lower chaos worlds so he would have a new family there."

From all the reactions I thought she would have, I didn't expect Sylvana to smile when she heard that news. "So he has a new family, huh? It seems that the curse on his soul should have vanished, then I am glad." Sylvana was practically glowing with that motherly smile of hers. "What curse?"

Sylvana raised an eyebrow. "You didn't know?" She asked in a questioning tone like I should have known that. "No, what curse are you talking about?"

"It is a curse that Anhur and Nox put on my son before he died. I would kill his family should he ever have one or consider someone as family. It is a curse that could be easily dispelled, but you have to have the power to do it, and a normal mortal doesn't have that kind of power. So, I think that you broke that cycle of torture for my son. Thank you, dear."

A motherly smile hung on her face, and she kissed my forehead. The warmth she radiated from her body was amazing, and although I haven't felt it since the incident, I am happy to have felt it again.

"mmm"

Sylvara suddenly turned around and looked up at the planet that Jack was on.

"interesting."

"What did you find?" I didn't know what could interest her so much to avert the conversation away from her son.

"It seems that my son has done some extraordinary things while I was gone. The one who has inherited my power of the eye is also here."

I opened my eyes wide. How could I not? The one who inherits the blessing of the guardian has always been feared throughout the ages, so I didn't expect that there was somebody with that much potential on a planet like this. "Should we go and meet him? He was also anxious to meet you again."

"Yes, let's go."

With that said, we both teleported towards the biggest city on this planet, Goldspire. We teleported to this city because we could feel his presence there. We appeared on a big mountain overlooking the city.

We didn't hide our presence, so the moment we appeared on the mountain, a lot of energy was focused on our location, but when they recognized my energy, they stopped looking.

"There are a lot of high-class gods in this world." Sylvana looked around the world, but it looked like she was looking around her surroundings. Her gaze scanned every goddess present in this world, and she nodded a bit impressed.

She looked at me. "It looks like you spoiled my son a lot, huh." She gave me another kiss on my forehead, and I just smiled silly. With Sylvana and Jack was the only time that I felt young again and didn't have the weight of all my responsibilities bearing down on me.

"Mhmp, of course I would; he is my husband, after all." I puffed at her and answered like it was obvious. She just smiled at my actions and waited for her husband to teleport to here.

After waiting for a moment, we could feel the shift in energy. Before our eyes, Jack and another woman appeared. While I just smiled at the two people appearing before us, the woman beside me wasn't as calm as me. The moment Jack appeared before us, she pounced on him like a wild beast.

Jack, who had just appeared, smiled at the woman he recognized at first glance. He hugged her flying body and pinned her around while holding her. Sylvana clenched her legs around his body and placed her head on his neck. She hugged his body tight, and I could see some tears coming out of her eyes.

When they stopped spinning, Sylvana stopped hugging her son with her arms and put her face right in front of his. "This is a dream come true. I had prayed and hoped that I could one day see you again, and now here you are before me." She hugged him again, and more tears left her eyes.

The normal coldness that she gives off is gone and replaced with a crying mother who once lost her child and was reunited with him.

Jack pov

The woman in my arms was one of the most important people in my first life, and thanks to the memories I slowly inherited, I started to have the same feelings now. This woman who had given birth to me with the energy that should have originally been used to make planets was the one who raised me, and while that was a long time ago, I could feel the love she had for me.

While I had never done anything to her in my first life, now, in this life, I knew that I had always loved her more than just mother and son. With my experience with love in this life, I knew that this woman before me also loved me the same way but never had the chance to express it.

"I missed you, Mom." These are simple words, but they hit like a train. The woman in my arms completely collapsed when I said that, and she cried while saying it back. "I missed you too, son. I missed you so much." We stayed together for some time until she calmed down.

When she did, she got off me, and I had already missed her soft body with that addicting scent on my body, but I held myself back. "This is Jasmine, and I think she is connected to you somehow. While I don't have my complete memories, I know most of your powers, so I would be shocked to hear if she didn't have these powers from you."

"It's a Pleasure to greet you, madam." Jasmine ignored the actions that had happened a moment before and greeted the woman before her with great respect. While she may appear weak now, the woman is still a supreme god who rules over space and time.

"Mmhm, yes, she is the one that is connected to my powers. I felt my blessing being used some time ago, but I didn't expect the person who had it to be the one who followed my son. But this is for the better. Gods have been using the power I bestow lucky people for their greed, so I am happy you can take that away from them."

"How does this power work? I know that it comes from you, but it feels like it is involuntary and that you don't play a big role in how the power gets bestowed on people." I was always curious about how this power worked. While she showed me the effects it could have, she never said how people got it.

"Well, you are right in that regard. I don't control who gets the energy because I don't give it to those who use it. My energy is so compatible with people that when someone comes in contact with me, they get some sort of contract with me. That is also why I can't just take that power away from them. It is so minuscule that there is nothing to take away."

Hearing that statement, Ella almost choked on her saliva. She couldn't believe it. The people who inherited her power could fight multiple middle-class gods as if they were nothing, and here she is saying that they are too weak.

'The power from a supreme god is no joke. Luckily, she is my mother-in-law and protects me, not an enemy; otherwise, I would be doomed.'

Ella almost broke down because of her mother-in-law but quickly composed herself.
