Chapter 127 Mother
Chapter 127 Mother
The energy Ella was releasing was slowly merging with the domain around her. Changes began to appear in the domain for the third time in a short period. While Aphrodite's influence was limited, that wasn't because of her lack of power but because someone in the same divinity stopped the influence.
Now, the influence of a goddess of love is being released in the Pantheon, and the effects are already obvious. You could see that the followers of other gods began to feel comfortable with the new energy that was being released, and they began to feel love for their family, friends, or significant others.
The feeling of love brought some families together and healed some relationships that were falling apart. All living beings need some sort of love in their lives, which is why gods or goddesses of love are always so popular. They are essential for living beings.
When she is done merging her energy with the pantheon and completing her part of the domain, she surpasses her energy again and floats back to the balcony. When she lands, she turns back to me with a smile on her face. That is when she sees the two other women standing beside me. "Oh, long time no see. How have you been?" she asks the ladies who are standing at my side.
They responded swiftly that they were doing really well and that they were thankful for the chance she gave them. Ella waved her hand and just said that she did it for me, so if they were thankful, they had to serve me to the best of their abilities. "What are you going to do now?" I asked Ella because I was sure that she couldn't stay here forever.
She had one hand on her cheek and thought about what to do. "Mmm, I should go back and inform the watcher about what has happened, and I will finally tell her about you." After a moment, she told me about her plans. "Do you think she would want to meet me after such a long time?"
I felt nervous about meeting her again. She was the mother of the person I was in my first life as the goddess of sex, and I don't know how she has been since that incident. "Of course, she wants to. She has been missing you since the moment she found out what happened. Even now, she still hasn't forgiven those three."
I smiled as I recalled the few memories I could remember about her. When I accepted Ella's offer and was granted the system, I unlocked some memories from my first life that were stored in my damaged soul. It is healing rapidly because of the mana and dove energy that I have been receiving, and when a part of my soul heals, I get a part of my old memories back.
The only thing I can remember about my mother is how she looks and sounds. I barely remembered how she looked at me, but I knew one thing: She loved me the most. I was the most precious thing in her life, and I had hoped when I first found these memories back that she was doing okay, but that didn't seem to be the case.
"Okay, please tell her I want to meet her when you talk to her," I said as I came out of my thoughts. Ella nodded and walked towards me. I smiled and hugged her body while she hugged mine. She kissed me quickly, and then we let go of each other. "I don't know how long this will take, but see you later~"
With that, Ella teleported away. I looked at the place she stood for a couple of seconds before letting out a sigh. I looked back at the two women behind me and said, "Let's go back outside and let the Pantheon develop for a moment without our supervision." The two women nodded, and we all teleported out of there.
....
In boundless heaven and between the stars, there sat a woman—a lonely figure only surrounded by the stars. Her dark blue hair was flying through space, and her sapphire blue eyes were unfocused deep in space. She wore a dress that seemed to be made out of the very stars surrounding her.
She sat there in silence, looking out at the horizon of space with a lonely expression. "I knew that I would find you here, Mother-in-law." On this quiet star was the first sound it had heard in millennia. The woman didn't turn around or make any movements. "What are you doing here, Ella?"
The woman's voice, normally cold without a bit of warmth, was now smooth and soothing. While she loves her son a lot, she also favors her daughter-in-law a lot. That is also one of the reasons that Ella has lived such an uninterrupted life until now. Normally, the ruler would betrothed her to someone so that the universe could grow, but with the protection of her mother-in-law, that didn't happen.
"I came here to talk about Caelir." When that name was mentioned, the energy of the surroundings began to change. While it was tranquil and calm before now, it was a bit sad and solemn. "What do you want to talk about, dear?" While she knew that the time would come, she didn't expect it to be now.
She thought Ella was going to talk about how she was over the death of her son and that she would be seeing a new husband. "What are you thinking about, Sylvara?" Sylvara was a name that she hadn't heard in a while. The woman named Sylvara now looked at Ella with her full attention.
Saying the true name of a god is something that you would normally do in serious situations, so when she did, she knew that it was serious. With her mother-in-law's full attention on her, Ella finally began to speak. "I found a remnant of Caelir's soul." Sylvara's eyes shot wide open, and she appeared right in front of Ella in a millisecond.
It was so fast that even a god as old as Ella couldn't follow her movements, but that was normal. Sylvara was a goddess of space and time, so she could come and go from places as she pleased. She placed both her hands on Ella's hands and looked her right in the eyes.
"Did you really find him?"
