Chapter 4200 Using The Realm Core.
After calming Calypsea down, Davis went silent and began to contemplate what his next moves should be.
He had successfully managed to gain the Whispering Wildlands Lower Realm Realm Core. With Tina in control of the Realm, Calypsea managed to gain more benefits for them by using the Fires of Life Language and him in control of most of the formations in this Peninsula, it could be said he had ultimately shadow conquered the Whispering Wildlands Lower Realm.
It was a huge matter, a cause for celebration, but right now, he only managed to become more cautious because losing something this big after gaining it would be a cause for regret.
'Even if I lose this entire realm, it should be fine… discard all emotions… yes, nothing belongs to me except my family…'
Davis tried to let go of the wealth he obtained mentally, making his mind clearer.
He was trying to make it so that even if something happened the next day and he was forced to abandon the Realm Core, his capacity to operate wouldn't be seriously affected. He had thought obtaining a Realm Core was no different than obtaining a Gilded Realm Ascendant Pill, but his perspective has changed since discovering the existence of the Realm Core Spirit and being able to talk with it.
It completely flipped the table on the world, giving him immense benefits.
'After the Covenant ends, I should strive to fortify the Verdant Vale Lower Realm and get the Verdant Vale Realm Core under our control too…'
Davis felt it was fortunate that Myria got rid of the trouble that was the Celestial Transcendent. Chances are that he wouldn't descend to kill him for a hundred years, but if he learned that he could take advantage of the Realm Core's secret abilities, the Celestial Transcendent might just take the chance to kill him once and for all.
Hence, Davis felt it was important not to use external attacks using the Realm Core, like ability number five. Ability number eight might also fall into this category, although he wasn't sure if that wasn't the case.
Nevertheless, there were just too many unknowns. The cooldown time for each ability was unknown. It could be hours, days, or even years.
Therefore, he couldn't use it half-heartedly.
However, there was one thing he could do right now, and everyone was looking forward to it: the first step toward strengthening their home.
Davis brought out Stella from his life ring.
He checked her cultivation and saw that she was at Level Nine Immortal Emperor Stage. She had increased it by two levels after reaching Level Seven Immortal Emperor Stage from last time. Considering it took her two months, even with ample resources, he nodded.
The more the Cycles, the more energy it took for Void Dust Trees to grow.
Currently, Stella is at the peak of the eighth cycle, but he knows this is nothing in front of Realm Core's third ability.
"Stella, are you ready to become an Empyrean?"
"Mhm?"
Stella blinked, wondering why she was summoned out only to hear these words from Davis.
She gazed around and saw that everyone from Evelynn to Illumina was smiling at her with joy. It could be seen all of them were excited, making her heart skip a beat.
Stella instantly understood that these people whom she loved gave her a chance to grow, but she was in disbelief.
As a Void Dust Tree who was nearing the Ninth Cycle, she knew how difficult it was to increase her cultivation. She was now consuming Mid-Level Empyrean Grade resources to increase her cultivation, but even that wasn't enough, making her cry inwardly, as she felt she was burdening others with her severe consumption.
She could only imagine how her mother reached the Ninth Cycle. It finally made sense as to why she spent so much time in the Immortal Emperor Stage on top of having to feed her and make other mini-realms.
Still, the requirements to increase her cultivation only became worse after consuming the Gilded Realm Ascendant Pill since it introduced changes to her entire body. She was able to do a few things that Void Dust Trees weren't able to do, and she didn't know what new abilities she would find.
Regardless, it didn't change the fact that her energy consumption was ridiculous.
Because of this, she imagined it would take a year to reach the Ninth Cycle and, from there, take nine years to reach the Empyrean Stage if they obtained resources at the same rate as before.
However, with Davis smiling confidently, waiting for her answer, she could only shudder at the prospect that they had something ready for her, something that would allow her to enter the Empyrean Stage.
Stella gulped, "Yes~"
Her voice was sonorous and full of anticipation.
She wondered if Tina rejected the Realm Core after being bound for her, making her not know what to say.
"Good."
Davis nodded, "Start creating a tiny mini-realm here."
"Oh, okay~"
Stella blinked. She was not sure what was happening, but she agreed to create a tiny mini-realm. It was the same one that she used to hide the Heaven's Warriors who besieged them along with Autarch Elluro Coldwing.
In fact, it was similar in size to the Whispering Wildlands Peninsula, but all that space would be compressed into a tiny sphere. Such was the wonder of a Void Dust Tree's spatial ability to create mini-realms.
"We should be able to teleport to the Second Void Dust Sanctuary from here, right?"
"Yes." Stella nodded while creating the tiny mini-realm.
"Although the teleportation range is limited since this is only a tiny mini-realm, it is enough to get to the Second Void Dust Sanctuary, which is in the same Whispering Wildlands Lower Realm."
"Great."
Davis clenched his fist, looking like he was about to punch the air in excitement. He glanced at the tiny spatial sphere that was forming in between Stella's hands.
Last time, it took her eight hours to complete the tiny mini realm fully, but this time around, he felt it would be less.
Nonetheless, within ten minutes, she was done initializing the mini-realm, making Davis open his mouth.
"No need to complete it now. Bring your main body here."
"Okay~"
Stella was strangely compliant. She couldn't hide the anticipation on her face as she kept looking at the Realm Core, wondering when she would bind it. She transported her main body to the tiny mini-realm. She knew why Davis told her to bring her main body here because energy directly given to her main body instead of her human body was the best way to maximize the efficiency of any task.
This is why, even with dual cultivation, she preferred to have Davis right near the root so she could directly absorb all that energy. Her human body was intrinsically and karmically connected to her main body, after all. They shared energy, but the more the human body was away from the main body, the less efficient it was.
Of course, she could store energy in her human body and deliver it to the main body later, but that would decrease the efficiency a bit. Hence, it was better to have the main body nearer when increasing levels, especially stages.
The Void Dust Tree appeared within the newly created tiny mini-realm while the vestige body shifted to the Second Void Dust Sanctuary.
At that moment, spatial undulations reverberated across the tiny mini-realm, even flooding out, but Stella was perfectly able to hide these undulations. There was not the slightest bit of change in the air outside, so Davis didn't even realize she had brought her main body here.
He waited until Stella opened her mouth with an expectant smile.
"I'm here~"
She extended her arms to both sides and moved them around like a twister.
"Haha."
Davis and the others couldn't help but laugh at her excitement, but if they were in her shoes, they knew they wouldn't be able to hide their passion either.
"Everyone, go inside and wait."
Davis looked around, causing them to nod and enter Stella's tiny mini-realm. On the other hand, he held Calypsea's hand and gestured for Tina to be ready. These two were essential to command the Realm Core Spirit, after all.
Inside the tiny mini-realm, Stella flew around her main body excitedly.
Evelynn and the others also took a good look at her main body, which was shuddering ever so lightly.
Stella Voidfield was indeed a tall tree. She was absolutely massive, nearly eight thousand and nine hundred meters tall! From standing near the root, if they looked up, they wouldn't be able to see the crown properly, even if their chin was facing the skies.
That was how tall she was. But height wasn't the only fascinating point about the Void Dust Tree.
Her trunk, an unfathomably dense weave of brown and purple, pulsed with a faint, swirling pattern. Natural runes ran across her bark, indicating an endless flow of spatial energy. The surface shimmered as though the essence of the void itself coursed through her veins.
Each of her gargantuan roots extended like colossal bridges while being anchored to the void dust soil, their twisting forms coiling with pure spatial energy.
