Chapter 184: Clashing.

The dark clouds started to form and the atmosphere became heavy knowing it was unnatural. Sasha couldn’t help but feel anxious when she looked at Mykel standing in an open space like that. She looked around and wondered when or where Lucifer might come to attack them.

Suddenly, a shockwave hit them and made a huge crack in the barrier that was supposed to be able to hold Elena’s life energy. The shockwave collapsed the headquarters and the penthouses in an instant, and they both watched two skyscrapers fall and create a massive earthquake.

"That’s a shame. My comfy bed," Amaryllis said as she watched the skyscrapers hit the ground really hard and created smoke dust. "What an amazing destructive power," Amaryllis continued as she fixed the barrier and watched shockwave after shockwave being produced behind the thick smoke.

"Are they fighting?" Sasha asked as she looked at the barrier that amazingly endured the strong shockwaves.

"Fighting? I think they’re just greetings to each other," Amaryllis chuckled as she stared into the thick smoke.

Mykel was lying on the ground and Lucifer was on top of him with his massive twelve ashes wings on his back. He was smiling as he kept punching Mykel in the face to pay back what Mykel had done to him.

"That was quite painful, you know? I’m surprised that you can hurt me," Lucifer said as he looked at Mykel who was surprisingly unharmed even though he punched him quite hard. "How strong have you become?" Lucifer asked with curiosity.

Lucifer decided to clench his fist harder and when he was about to punch Mykel, his fist was blocked by Mykel. He tried to overpower Mykel, but his fist wouldn’t budge no matter how hard he tried.

"Both you and the one in the novel have something in common," Mykel said as he kept gripping Lucifer’s fist. "You both talk too much for someone who’s so weak," Mykel pointed out and pushed Lucifer away from him.

Sasha could see the familiar wings that just got thrown away into the sky. She was surprised that Lucifer didn’t hesitate to show his wings to Mykel and the fact he was getting pushed for the second time. She then looked at the smoke dispersed and saw Mykel’s wings for the first time.

"Looks like they’re going to fight in the sky. That’s convenient for me," Amaryllis said.

Mykel covered himself with the [Sacrilege Flame] and flew up into the sky toward Lucifer. The flap of his wings and the blast of the flame were enough to shatter the barrier that Amaryllis had created. Sasha was dumbfounded when it was that easy for him to destroy the barrier and how it was enough to flatten the whole state.

Lucifer emblazed the same flame as Mykel, and it surprised Mykel and Amaryllis that he possessed the [Sacrilege Flame]. When they both clashed, it created a massive explosion that was a hundred times more powerful than the Tsar bomb. The clash created a black hole and everything was being sucked into it with unparalleled force.

"We might die here, so let’s watch from the distance," Amaryllis said and snapped her fingers.

Sasha was teleported with Amaryllis a thousand miles away from the fight. They both were up high in the sky so Amaryllis could see the fight while Sasha struggled to even see where Mykel and Lucifer were at.

She thought that it was their most powerful move until she saw another explosion that was way more destructive than the previous one. At that moment she realized how weak she was, and how stupid the world was to think they could defeat Mykel.

The moment the two black holes collided, their sucking power was amplified by two times, lifting the whole city into the black hole. The city looked like dried leaves being blown by a leaf blower and sucked up into the air. Nobody could survive that and not to mention those two were still clashing in between the destruction.

"I have to admit, you’re stronger than I expected," Lucifer said as his body was getting pulled into the black hole. "But the fun just started and I want to see how far you have progressed," Lucifer swung his right hand toward the black holes and made them disappear.

The city that was in the air immediately fell to the ground again like a big splash of water. The ground waved like waves in the sea and the impact destroyed neighboring states and flattened them.

"Such a pity. The city that Lyn built with love got destroyed," Mykel said as he looked down.

"You still have the time to worry about something else? How annoying," Lucifer smiled and flew toward Mykel at full speed.

Mykel pointed his hand at Lucifer and that was enough to make Lucifer stop in mid-air. Lucifer couldn’t move his body for a moment, and when he managed to break free from the force, it was already too late because another force pushed him down to the ground.

A giant crater was created, the whole New York collapsed and the sea started to fill the crater. Just like that, a state disappeared from the map of the world and it was only the beginning.

"My God," Sasha said as she slowly covered her mouth with her hand in disbelief.

"This is just the beginning. It’s fun to watch Mykel in action, right?" Amaryllis asked with a huge smile on her face.

"What happened to Mykel? How could he possess such destructive power?" Sasha asked and looked at Amaryllis with her eyes wide open.

"This is nothing compared to what he had to deal with back then inside the novel world. He fought Mara and the whole universe was almost destroyed from the fight," Amaryllis answered as she chuckled.

"Mara? She’s the omnipotent and invincible being in the novel! She’s the creator of the whole universe and nothing shouldn’t be able to kill her!" Sasha said and she was in disbelief.

"Mykel did, and he killed her with a little help from Elena. He was that powerful, and now, if he had to fight Mara again, it would only last a few seconds," Amaryllis pointed out. "But the power he possesses, he took the risk and embrace it," Amaryllis said as she looked at Mykel floating in the air, waiting for Lucifer.

Sasha was petrified by that fact, and she wondered what Mykel would do when he was brought into the novel world. She wondered how he managed to reach that point where he could defeat Mara, the omnipotent being.

When Sasha was still thinking about it, suddenly a loud banging sound could be heard in the distance. She looked at where the sound was coming from and saw the central part of the United States was being lifted high into the sky. The ground was in fact being moved by Mykel’s [Telekinesis] skill and was brought down to hit Lucifer.

Her mind couldn’t process the whole thing, and she was mind blown when she saw the ground that was as big as Mount Everest being split in half. It was Lucifer who cut the whole thing in half with his sword, a black sword with cracks that glowed red like lava on the blade.

"I never thought I had to use this sword to fight you," Lucifer smiled in excitement and flew in between the mountain he had cut in half.

The moment Lucifer passed through, Mykel was ready to greet him with a glowing fist. Lucifer could sense the power on Mykel’s fist that wasn’t supposed to be on him. He was so shocked that he didn’t dodge it and took the hit right on his chest that he could feel the traumatic pain he felt during his rebellion.

"You..." Lucifer looked at Mykel and slowly looked down at his chest with a giant hole. "How?" Lucifer asked and could feel Mykel’s fist inside his chest.

"I wonder," Mykel replied and kicked Lucifer away.

Mykel watched as Lucifer fell and he didn’t even bother to do another attack on him. He then landed where Lucifer was lying on the ground with a hole in his chest.

"How funny..." Lucifer chuckled as he looked at Mykel. "You think the power that you have would be enough to stop me? You know that I’m damned and I can’t be killed without his will. I will come back to live over and over, and one day, I’ll take everything from you," Lucifer said.

"Bark like the dog you are. You’re as pathetic as the one I subdued inside the novel," Mykel said as he stepped on Lucifer’s face. "You should kiss my foot again and beg for your life while you can," Mykel suggested as he dirtied Lucifer’s face with his shoe.
