Chapter 183 Direct approach.
Chapter 183 Direct approach.
Anzel slowly regained consciousness and slowly opened his eyes and remembered what had happened. When he wanted to move, he realized he was chained to the chair and he couldn't free himself for some reason. He then looked around and saw Sasha leaning against the wall with her hands on her back as she looked him in the eye.
"Miss Sasha?!" Anzel asked as he wiggled around.
"You put yourself in this situation, and it wasn't me who did this," Sasha answered without showing any expression.
Anzel was still trying to free himself until the chair fell and he couldn't do anything anymore. He looked around and there was nobody else in the room.
"Help me! Miss Sasha!" Anzel said as he looked at Sasha who didn't even move a muscle and only watched him struggle.
"You won't be able to leave, you're stuck here with us," Lucifer's voice could be heard from behind. "Now, shall we have some fun?" Lucifer asked and pulled the chair and threw it onto the wall.
Anzel knocked his head against the wall and fell to the ground, still chained to the chair. When he looked up, suddenly there were more people in the room even though earlier there was only Sasha with him. He was shocked that Lucifer was the one who brought him there and did that to him.
"Eric?! What's the meaning of this?!" Anzel yelled as he glared at Lucifer. "Who are you people?!" Anzel looked at each one of them with a confused look.
"You can say that we used to be one of them," Lucifer answered with a smirk on his face.
Anzel looked at them and counted there were seven of them, and he realized who they were. He vaguely remembered what Lyneth said back then about tools that fought back.
"You guys are the fallen angels..." Anzel said as he kept trying to free himself. "The seven deadly sins..." Anzel added.
"You're sharp," Lucifer chuckled as he lifted the chair to let Anzel sit properly. "But it's useless for you to know about that now since you won't remember anything else once we left," Lucifer said.
Anzel looked at Satan as he walked toward him and showed him the ring that the old man had given him. He was surprised to see it again and he remembered that Sasha was the one who held it back then.
"Miss Sasha, you're working with them?! How could you? You're supposed to help humanity from them!" Anzel asked in disbelief. Explore more at empire
"The answer is very simple, Anzel. She wants to be with Mykel again and relive the life she had," Lucifer answered as he chuckled mischievously. "She would do anything to achieve that," Lucifer pointed out.
Anzel was devastated that everything that they had been through together, the things they had achieved, and the joy they had shared together were nothing but lies. He realized that he was being played left and right like a cheap tool for them to use and he realized how fucked up everything was.
"Good night, and enjoy your eternal nightmare," Satan smiled and put his hand on Anzel's face.
Sasha listened to Anzel's screams, the same screams that she'd always heard back in hell. The scream of unbearable pain and the eternal suffering that had been put inside them.
"Since it has come to this, bring me the others," Lucifer said as he looked at Sasha. "The time has come, and the slow approach is no longer effective. It's time for a direct approach," Lucifer pointed out.
Sasha left the room to bring everyone down to the underground and let them all become tools for Lucifer. She managed to bring them all down to the room, and Anzel surprisingly acted like nothing had happened.
"So, why are we here?" Eun Soo asked Sasha.
"Just a little discussion," Lucifer answered as he prepared the chairs for everyone. "We need to prepare for the worst," Lucifer said with a serious expression and everyone believed him.
Sasha watched every single one of them being tortured, and corrupted, and their souls being torn apart. She wasn't even capable of showing any sympathy or empathy to them when it came to them.
"Are we done here?" Sasha asked as she looked at Lucifer.
"We may or we may not," Lucifer answered as he looked at Sasha. "You know. I think it's better if we do the same thing to you," Lucifer said with a smile.
Sasha immediately snapped her fingers and managed to teleport away from headquarters. She had anticipated it and she was glad that she prepared for it beforehand and brought herself away from danger. She hurriedly walked in between the crowds on the sidewalk, but then she felt a chill on her nape, and when she turned around she saw Lucifer following her from behind.
"No matter where you go, I can find you. Don't forget that a part of me is still inside you," Lucifer said.
"I know, that's why I chose this place in the first place," Sasha answered and then Lucifer was surrounded by fans. "I'm not your toy," Sasha said and then teleported again.
Sasha teleported to the Rebirth Guild headquarters to meet with Mykel, but the receptionist told her that everyone had left. She was surprised when she heard that, and she had nowhere to go.
"A petty trick you got back there, but I always get what I want once I desire it," Lucifer said and grabbed Sasha's shoulder.
Sasha had borrowed all powers from the angels and she immediately turned around to punch Lucifer. Her punch was blocked and her strength wasn't strong enough to overpower his strength and he slowly pushed her hand back.
"Is this it? How cute," Lucifer asked and pushed Sasha away and hit the wall.
Before Sasha could get back on her feet, Lucifer punched her again and this time she threw it and destroyed all the walls that hit her back. She ended up on the other side of the building and was thrown outside.
Sasha recovered in an instant, but she couldn't win against Lucifer with her current power. She was powerless and all she could do was to avoid him, so she spread her wings and was ready to leave.
"No more running away, Sasha," Lucifer appeared right behind Sasha and ripped the wings off her back. "You're mine, and you have sold your soul to me. I'll show you what I'm going to do with you," Lucifer said and pushed her down to the ground.
"You came to my place and made a mess? You really got some nerve," Mykel's voice could be heard from behind Lucifer.
Sasha looked at Mykel walking out of the hole in the wall with a cigarette in between his fingers.
"She's mine, and you know that," Lucifer said as he slowly turned around to look at Mykel.
"So? It has nothing to do with me," Mykel raised his eyebrows and flicked the cigarette. "I'm here not for her, I'm here because of the fact you made a mess of my building," Mykel said and appeared right in front of Lucifer and punched him right in the face.
Lucifer was thrown away into the distance, hundred miles away and there was no sign of him. Sasha was shocked when she saw Lucifer get thrown away like that knowing how powerful he actually was.
"Mykel," Sasha said as she looked at Mykel who stood in front of her. "I'm sorry, but I have nowhere to go," Sasha pointed out as she slowly stood up.
"It's alright. I have business with him anyway. You brought a big fish to me," Mykel answered as he looked into the distance. "For now just stay back. This is my fight now," Mykel said.
Sasha nodded and ran away, and then suddenly Amaryllis appeared right in front of him through a portal. She was surprised, but she was relieved that she met with her and felt safe by just standing near her.
"Looks like we came on at the right time. I'm glad that you're okay, Sasha," Amaryllis said with a gentle smile and immediately stood right in front of Sasha to protect her.
"You haven't told me about who you are because you're not supposed to be in the story. Are you a new character that Mykel created that I don't know of?" Sasha asked as she stayed close to Amaryllis.
"I'm the system," Amaryllis answered as she looked at Sasha over her shoulder.
"What?" Sasha was so confused.
"Let's just enjoy the show for now," Amaryllis smiled and created a barrier around them.
