Chapter 181 Lyneth's power.

"I'm at the top, huh?" Elena asked herself as she tried to stand up, but the wounds all over her body made it hard for her to move. "I'm used to being invincible, but now everyone is catching up with me just because they want to be useful to him," Elena said and watched everyone pass out from exhaustion except one who was still standing tall.

Mykel approached Elena and helped her get up, but then he carried her on his back. She tried her best to stay awake, but the moment she rested her head on Mykel's shoulder, she fell asleep immediately.

"She went all out, and so did everyone. I never thought that they almost reached her level and that's really amazing," Amaryllis said as she came to the Void Realm after dozens of her clones got obliterated during the fight. "But the fact you're fine is something else. Quite terrifying to be honest," Amaryllis looked at Mykel.

"It's really terrifying," Mykel nodded his head. "Although, I still lost to her during that fight. But I'm not sure about now. I feel like my power increased by five times now," Mykel added.

Everyone was brought back to the penthouses and Amaryllis tried to heal the wounds that were impossible to heal. Elena's life energy could act like Luciel's [Absolute] skill and made every attack of her and the damage she dealt couldn't be healed. It had been like that from the beginning, but this time, she put her life energy into the person she hit and leeched their power so she could take them back and make herself stronger.

Elena's power was like the combination of everyone's power and that made her too powerful. She could recreate or make something similar to everyone's power with her life energy, and that opened the possibilities of her power. She could even make something similar with Beldathiel's [Inertia] skill.

"But in the end, she had to suffer first before she could take them all in," Amaryllis said and looked at the scars all over Elena's body that Elena herself couldn't heal them unless she renewed her whole body.

"I wonder if this would work," Lyneth said as she put her hand on Elena's forehead.

Lyneth closed her eyes and used her [Vesper] skill to heal the wounds on Elena's body. Amaryllis was shocked that the wounds disappeared so easily even though they should be permanent.

"Lyneth, your power is extraordinary. It's so powerful that you might be able to win against her," Amaryllis pointed out as she stared at Lyneth in disbelief. "Have you tried to use your power for something else?" Amaryllis asked with curiosity.

"I did and I still can't get used to it because I can do this," Lyneth said as she modified her fingers and made them longer or added more fingers to her hand. "As long as I know what I want, it will come true. For instance, I can even make it rain," Lyneth added and looked outside the window.

The dark clouds started to form and thunders started to rumble in the distance. The rain started to pour into the city and hit the windows, leaving droplets with a strong wind blowing them away.

"At first, it was impossible to wish for something like this, but for some reason, I can do it now," Lyneth pointed out as she looked at the heavy rain outside. "I feel like I have become God, and I don't know why it's happening to me," Lyneth continued and the rain stopped in an instant the moment she wanted to have a sunny day. Amaryllis was curious and still couldn't find the answer behind Lyneth's power and how she got it. All she knew, when she had her [Devotion] skill, she devoted herself to Mykel to protect herself from harm. She didn't even have to do anything until it turned into [Vesper] skill that made her like an omnipotent being.

"Mykel? Do you know anything?" Amaryllis asked Mykel who seemed to know the answer already.

"Her love for me is too powerful that her [Devotion] skill made her as powerful as I am back then. Now that I have that power, what do you think will happen? She's basically borrowed that power from me, and whatever she wants, the power will grant her wishes. The stronger I became, the more powerful wishes that could be granted," Mykel answered and looked at Lyneth.

"I see! That makes sense!" Amaryllis said and she was surprised that it didn't come to her mind. "Wait, if that's the case, don't you think she can do something about it?" Amaryllis asked and wondered.

"I don't think that's possible, but we can try," Mykel said as he looked at Lyneth. "Lyn. Can you wish for my power to disappear?" Mykel asked.

Lyneth had no idea what those two were talking about, and suddenly Mykel asked her to remove his power, she was baffled. Although she was taken aback by it, she immediately used her power to remove the power inside Mykel's body.

"Did it work?" Lyneth asked after she prayed to remove the power inside Mykel.

"No," Mykel shook his head. "Since you only borrow my power, you don't have the authority to delete the power. Just like the system," Mykel explained and looked at Amaryllis.

Amaryllis hummed with understanding, and even so, Lyneth only borrowed the [Supremacy] skill, she might be able to turn it around. She finally had a new purpose, and that was to bring Mykel back and remove the power inside him. If she managed to do it, it would be possible to use it against The Lord and help them to win the war.

"Well then, can you help me heal everyone with your power? It would be a huge help for me since it would take a while if I'm doing it alone," Amaryllis asked Lyneth.

"Of course! Finally, I can be useful for the team," Lyneth smiled at Mykel and she looked so proud of herself.

Mykel let everyone rest and left the penthouse to get some fresh air, but when he went to the rooftop, he felt like someone was watching him. It felt so close yet so far, and he wondered where it was coming from. When he looked at the sky, he felt like something just moved and he couldn't tell what it was.

He brushed it off and decided to light his cigarette and smoke in peace. He looked at the city that had been modified and it looked quite nice from where he was since there were only two skyscrapers left in New York.

He was thinking about the possibilities of what happened to Sasha and how she ended up sacrificing herself. He remembered that Sasha was the one who wanted to go into the novel world, but why was he the one who ended up inside the novel world?

He took his time thinking about it and he concluded that there were three answers to that. The first was because Sasha was being used by Lucifer who lied to her. The second one was that Sasha ended up changing her mind and sending Mykel into the novel world instead. The third one would be someone who was the one who ordered her to sacrifice herself to send Mykel into the novel world.

"This is the first time for me to search where you are," Elena said as she stood in front of the door on the rooftop. "Everyone is awake, and I'm thinking that we should start to make our moves," Elena continued as she looked at Mykel.

"You have given thoughts about it?" Mykel asked as he walked to the door and flicked the butt of his cigarette as the strong wind struck his face and messed with his hair.

"Yes. I believe everyone is ready and now is the time," Elena nodded her head with confidence.

Everyone once again gathered in the meeting room, but this time Elena was the one who stood in the middle. Everyone was smiling at her and happy for her because she was entrusted by Mykel to take over the team. They had no issue with her leading them because she had the brain and the power that were equal to Mykel.

"I really want to have a small party for becoming the leader of this rebellious bunch," Elena smirked and everyone was chuckling and scoffing when they heard that. "And so, I'm thinking what's better than popping a bottle of wine? And that's to destroy the seven pillars," Elena continued.

"Fucking finally! I like you already," Aurea jokingly said and everyone was chuckling at her.

"But before that, we should let them know first, right? We should warn them that we are targeting the pillars," Elena asked with her eyebrows raised. "How are we going to do that? Of course by eliminating all their toys and their lands on Earth. We will bring chaos and make them fume in anger. What's more fun than seeing our enemies blinded by rage? Nothing," Elena said.

"When are we going to make a move?" Jeanne asked.

"Well, since you guys lost your weapon. I will let you guys make your new weapons first, and Mykel has prepared a better ingredient for that," Elena answered as she looked at Mykel.

"The materials have been prepared in the palace. Go ahead and use them to your heart's content," Mykel said and looked back at Elena with a smile.

Everyone was warped to the palace in the Empyrean World. They looked at the material and they looked like silver but a bit blueish. They touched the materials and they were a lot sturdier and lighter than the previous one.

"What kind of materials are these?" Luciel asked and held one in her hands.

"The best one so far," Mykel answered.
