Chapter 3312: Another Guild
?
Two days later, Rean and Kentucky left the region where they had caused the phenomenon. Surprisingly or not, Rean caught the presence of a few Elemental Space and Space-Time Realm Divine Senses on their way out. Sure enough, the various powers out kept an eye on the border of the areas where the phenomenon took place.
It wasn't a big deal, though. Even though his cultivation was much lower, as long as he didn't get too close, Rean's Light and Divine Sense Bending Skill would still make them invisible. He only had to go around those Divine Senses, and the pair soon found themselves out of there. After all, it was a region way too big to be covered completely.
Passing by another ten or so cities, Rean and Kentucky arrived at a city called Porgue, where Kentucky returned to his humanoid form before the two of them entered the city. Rean, obviously, now had a new identity as well. By now, Rean had already gotten rid of the cultivator he used back in Etijei, leaving him in a safe corner, where he woke up several days later. As to what happened to him after that, Rean didn't care.
"Friend, where can I find the teleport formations?" Rean asked the guard at the city entrance as he paid the entrance fee.
"That depends if you are talking about the Formations Guild or the private organizations," the guard quickly answered, writing Rean and Kentucky's names on th system. "The cheapest is the Formations Guild, but there are usually queues to use them, and various cultivators teleport together when the time comes. As for the private organizations, you can teleport straight away, but it will cost quite a lot more."
Rean wasn't in a hurry, and teleporting amidst others would be better to cover his tracks. "I'm not rich by any means, so the Formations Guild, please."
After receiving the directions, Rean went to the Formations Guild with Kentucky. On the way, he also brought Zangeshu out since that was a good opportunity for them to look into the Divine Sense Runes topic. They had been working on it for a while, but it was best to go direct to the source.
"Welcome. How can I help you?" The worker behind the counter asked, looking at the trio in front.
"Hi, we would like to take the teleport formation to Qlonvi Capital," Rean asked.
The worker nodded and checked his terminal. "The next eleven teleports are already fully occupied, so the next slots available are three days from now. Would you like to reserve the slots anyway?"
"Sure. We are not in a hurry." Rean confirmed.
After paying the fee for him, Zangeshu, and Kentucky, Rean changed the topic. "We would also like to take a look at the guild. My disciple here and I are both formations masters, and we are focusing on Divine Sense Circuitry Formation Runes at the moment. Do you have a database we can take a look at?"
"Definitely. However, only members of the Formations Guild can use the databases." The worker then passed the requirements to Rean and Zangeshu.
"Eh? Do we have to pay? But there are quite some free content in the network. Isn't it a little too expensive?" Rean couldn't help but sigh.
Yet, the worker didn't seem to care. "Then just go ahead and use the free content you find in the network. Our study materials and databases have proven schematics, runes, blueprints, etc. It takes time to put all of that together, so it makes sense we don't make them available for free. Whether you wish to join us or not, that is your problem. However, joining the guild will be a good thing for you as we are an organization that covers the entire Divine Snow World. Trust me, it will be worth your trouble. You can use your membership in any other branch of the Formations Guild."
Rean felt a little nostalgic. It had been a long time since he joined something like a guild. "Very well, please let us join."
"There is a fee and a test. Fortunately, we have one test being run every day. You guys can take the next one later."
Rean looked at Zangeshu, who was the picture of confidence. As if he would fail such a common test. Then, after paying the fee, they were shown the area where the test would take place. They just needed to be there in three hours.
Rean and Zangeshu came out of there and noticed that Kentucky was gone. "Where did the bird go?"
Kentucky got bored as Rean and Zangeshu took care of their business, so he went out to explore the city on his own. Rean could feel his presence through their connection, so he didn't bother going after him. Instead, Rean and Zangeshu just entered the Celestial Soul Dimensional Realm so they could continue their work on the runes.
Now, Rean had no reason to hide the Dimensional Realm anymore. There was nothing wrong with a Void Tempering Realm cultivator having a Pocket Dimensional Realm, so he disappeared right there and then in the middle of the Formations Guild Entrance Hall. His disappearance caught a few eyes for a second, but they soon looked away. Turns out that Pocket Dimensional Realms were even more common here than back in the Lisan Universe... as long as you were in the right Cultivation Realm for it, of course.
Somewhere else, close to the border of the city, Rifindio and Kentucky were looking at an organization that had hundreds of enormous buildings. Right at the entrance, the big name could be seen.
-Tamers Guild-
Tamer Guilds weren't anything strange. It's just that they usually dealt with Demon Beasts that hadn't acquired their sentience yet. Rifindio knew that the Supreme Palace knew that, the world knew that, but no one really cared. It would be just too annoying to try to get rid of such a common practice, even if the Universe Owner is a Demon Beast herself.
"Kentucky, what are we doing here exactly?" Rifindio, who was brought out by Kentucky, couldn't help but ask.
Kentucky smiled, an idea vivid in his mind. "Can't you feel it? The Divine Bloodline?"
Rifindio closed his eyes for a moment, and only after a few seconds he nodded. "Well... I can... but it is a very faint one. I can't even figure out what it is. What do you want with the owner of this bloodline?"
Kentucky then walked forward. "Naturally, it's my new Celis."
