Villain's Valor: A Noble Fantasy Resurrection

Chapter 193 Something's wrong

Chapter 193 Something's wrong

With clenched teeth, Anthony felt a force consuming his blood and flesh, roiling deep within his being.

An eruption of dark energy burst from his back, tearing through his flesh as four pairs of wings sprouted forth, stretching majestically into the air, a sea of blood pooling beneath his feet, his body morphing inside and out, more and more blood pouring from his mouth, his skin turning pale, almost white.

From his head, two pairs of horns emerged, black as obsidian. His hair remained as ebony as ever, as did his eyes, now reflecting the darkness that enveloped him. Anthony had descended into a state of trance, feeling lost, devoid of reason.

His stature increased as his transformation progressed, reaching a height of two meters. In his hands, the darkness surrounding him took shape, solidifying into an ebony sword, firm and tangible in its grip. The aura of madness enveloping his visage manifested in a manic grin.

Ra roared, his power concentrating into a miniature sun shining with blinding intensity. The darkness of the place was completely engulfed by the dazzling light, but it was slowly consumed, dwindling until it vanished entirely.

Anthony, sword in hand, vanished from view, melding into the shadows that surrounded him. Meanwhile, Fallen's scythe swung with ferocity, tracing circles in the air before clashing against Anthony's sword in a titanic impact. The titan's body recoiled a few steps under the blow.

Suddenly, Anthony's wooden staff elongated, transforming into a sharpened spear that surgically pierced the flesh of Fallen's shoulder. Despite the pain and blood loss, Anthony seemed indifferent to his suffering, consumed by a frenzy of madness propelling him forward.

In a surprising move, Anthony activated his Shadow Step, simultaneously summoning thousands of dark tentacles that writhed and twisted as if alive. These tentacles lunged towards Fallen with supernatural speed and agility, enveloping the titan in a dark embrace that seemed to absorb all light around them.

Amidst this silent chaos, Fallen roared with fury as Ra, with a swift movement of his solar disk, created several energy orbs that were hurled towards Anthony and the dark tentacles surrounding him, unleashing a new wave of power.

Fallen thrashed frantically, tearing through the dark tentacles enveloping him with savage movements. He charged forward with ruthless determination, weapons in hand fiercely clashing against Anthony's sword. Each of Fallen's scythe strikes was countered by Anthony's swift response with the golden staff he also wielded.

Amidst the darkness, flames danced like specters, briefly illuminating the scene with deadly flashes. Anthony, lost in a whirlwind of chaos, launched attacks without following any discernible pattern, his mind dominated by fury and confusion.

In a moment of carelessness, Fallen's scythe slipped with lethal precision, cleanly severing Anthony's right arm, another sword instantly forming in his left hand, a large amount of blood gushing from his arm, which fell into the embrace of darkness.

The battle between Anthony and Fallen reached a new level of intensity, each strike and parry a testament to the fierce madness both parties contained.

"Die, you bastard!" Anthony roared inwardly as he lunged once again towards Fallen.

Pov Emily

Seconds slid into minutes, and minutes faded into a complete hour, but the dark capsule remained undisturbed. Charlotte, anxious to know how Anthony was, cautiously approached the capsule and reached out to touch it, but she met with an impenetrable barrier. It was as if it were made of crystal or metal, an incredibly resilient structure that defied all attempts at penetration.

With a sigh of frustration, Charlotte attempted to cast some spells at the capsule, hoping to break its mysterious exterior, but her efforts were in vain. The capsule remained as silent and impenetrable as before.

Finally, resigned to wait and see, Charlotte sat down in front of the capsule, her thoughts swirling in her mind. The others had also gathered around, equally eager to know how Anthony was faring. Edward and Ezequiel joined Charlotte, while Emily watched with inquisitive eyes the cocoon before them.

After a few minutes of palpable tension, the capsule began to tremble slightly, as if being subjected to a powerful force from within. With each passing second, the tremors intensified, until finally the capsule gave way, exploding into pieces with a deafening roar.

Fallen's enormous body was violently ejected like a projectile, crashing to the ground with a terrifying impact. Upon closer inspection, it became apparent that something was terribly wrong: the titan's three heads had disappeared completely.

In their place, Fallen's body was marked by deep cuts and gashes on his chest, his remaining arms torn off and chunks of flesh ripped apart, as if he had been torn apart by a wild beast.

The darkness that had been contained within the capsule spilled out like a torrent, spreading throughout the area with alarming speed. At the center of the circle of destruction, Anthony's battered body stood, only two dragon wings remaining on his back, the other two brutally torn by the violence of the encounter, fresh blood still flowing from his back.

Without his right arm and with a pool of blood spreading beneath him.

"Anthony!" Charlotte shouted in joy, her eyes lighting up, but before she could run to him a hand stopped her: "Don't go near!" Edward said seriously, something was wrong, Ezequiel and Emily felt it too, their senses going wild warning of danger, Emily looked at her brother's body worriedly, her bloodline much more agitated, coursing through her veins it was as if she wanted to get out of this place as quickly as possible, she was scared, my lineage was trembling with fear.

"What do you mean!" Charlotte yelled angrily, in her eyes Anthony's body was brutally torn apart, she didn't care about his lineage, Charlotte just wanted to give him a hug. "Something's wrong," Emily's calm voice entered Charlotte's ears. "I agree," said Ezequiel, his gaze equally serious.

Antonio's head turned towards his companions, they were peaceful and serene, with an unsettling calmness, indifferent to all his wounds. A small smile appeared on Anthony's bloodied lips.

Ezequiel quickly moved his lance, defending himself from Anthony's surprise attack, his eyes filled once more with madness. Anthony disappeared again and the sound of broken spindles could be heard, Edward's arms buckled under the weight of Anthony's sword.
