Struggling to maintain his stance, Anthony briefly reflected on the Titan's strength. Osiris's cunning was overwhelming, his movements calculated with deadly precision. Without giving him time to recover, the scythe was launched again towards Anthony, who agilely defended himself once more.
With a bold leap, Anthony surged forward, taking the fight directly to his opponent. However, before he could even get close, a deafening roar echoed across the battlefield. The impact was devastating, shaking the ground beneath Anthony's feet and making his hands tremble with the shock.
With Osiris unleashing an unrelenting barrage of attacks, Anthony was forced to defend with all his might, struggling to stay afloat amidst the onslaught of blows.
The Titan's scythe moved with impressive speed, changing hands with disconcerting ease that defied all prediction. Anthony fought to stay one step ahead, constantly shifting his gaze to anticipate his opponent's movements and dodge incoming attacks. However, the pressure was overwhelming, and the need to find an opening grew increasingly slim.
Anthony channeled his aura, letting darkness flow through him and manifest as chaotic tentacles that whipped at Osiris's massive form. Seizing the momentary distraction, Anthony transformed his sword into a longer weapon.
With a swift movement, Anthony activated his shadow step ability, momentarily disappearing from his opponent's view. However, before he could fully capitalize on the advantage, Osiris reacted with astonishing speed, gripping his scythe tightly. Anthony's darkness melded with that of the Titan, resulting in the appearance of black skeletons emerging from the shadows.
Edward's POV
Edward prepared for the confrontation, his massive axe in hand as he watched the imposing Titan Ra intently. Edward's muscles tensed, ready for the imminent clash. The Titan, with an elegance befitting its magnificence, moved its golden staffs to form a defensive cross, unleashing yellow sparks that illuminated the battlefield with fleeting flashes of energy.
During those intense moments of combat, Edward came to an inevitable conclusion: this Titan was formidable, much more powerful than the scorpion he had faced earlier. However, Edward was not intimidated by the magnitude of his opponent but rather felt more excited.
Titan Ra advanced gracefully towards Edward, surrounded by an orange aura that radiated around him. Edward responded fiercely, swinging his massive axe to counter the Titan's incoming attacks. But the surprise came when the solar disc on the Titan's head began to move, unleashing a crystalline energy ball that hurtled towards Edward with impressive speed.
Quickly, Edward channeled his mana, moving it through his veins to raise a wall of rock in front of him as defense. The stone began to glow with a reddish hue before exploding in a burst of force, creating a smoke screen that momentarily covered the battlefield. Taking advantage of the brief respite, Edward surged forward, increasing the pressure with his aura as he prepared for his next move.
However, Ra demonstrated its skill by quickly dissipating the smoke with a series of mini-suns, revealing his position clearly. Frowning at his opponent's obstinacy, Edward clenched his fists with determination. With a quick gesture, he summoned two large stone walls from the ground that moved with crushing speed towards the Titan, an attempt to gain an advantage in the battle.
The mini-suns shot towards the rocks; Titan Ra moved its staff, which turned into crystalline flames, disappearing from its position, clashing with Edward's axe. A burst of heat flooded his body, the space around him lit up, as if light were present in this place; the Titan did not stop attacking, occasionally splitting his staff in half, in other instances, unleashing waves of fire.
Girls' POV
BOOM!
The Titan Isis in the sky moved her hands; behind her, crystal balls formed, emitting a beautiful blue color, suspended in the air with her wings spread out. She continued to attack the poor girls on the ground, the only one who could stand up to her was Eleanor, with her beautiful red fire feathers shining intensely, her hair turned into flames, Eleanor's sword tried to cut the Titan's body.
The girls on the ground, all mages, coordinated their magic, the main one being Charlotte, who had the most mana. Despite the considerable distance between them, they worked in harmony to counter Isis's devastating attacks. Daniela, with her blue eyes, unleashed massive ice spears behind them, each one aiming precisely at the sky Titan.
Meanwhile, Adelaida assumed the crucial task of intercepting some of Isis's attacks, thus relieving the pressure on her companions.
Each interaction between magical elements triggered an explosion of green and blue in the air. Charlotte and Daniela focused on launching their own magical attacks, while Eleanor remained at the forefront of the battle, facing the Titan directly with her sword ablaze.
In truth, each of them felt a lot of pressure, occasionally casting worried glances at the two boys, only to see how deep darkness reigned on Anthony's side, Charlotte tried to penetrate that layer but found it impossible, but occasionally, explosions could be heard, and the sound of metal clashing.
Edward's side was beautifully illuminated, the stone around him melted with Titan Ra's attacks; on one side, night reigned, and on the other, light.
The girls felt the urgency to finish off the titan much earlier so they could go help their companions. Each of them knew that their two companions couldn't kill them on their own, considering that the titans hadn't activated their domain expansion yet. Charlotte looked with worried eyes at the vast darkness where Anthony was, furrowing her brow.
Her gaze turned cold, her purple hair began to rise in the air, and her mana started to emanate from her body, so thick that it even surprised the girls around her. Her purple mana began to surround Charlotte's body; she was activating her bloodline.
