"You, you..." Yan Yan looked at Lin Tian in shock, completely stunned.

She had never expected Lin Tian to actually kiss her; it was totally unexpected.

After a moment, she threw a punch at Lin Tian.

"Ah? Oh!" Lin Tian was taken aback and quickly moved his hand away.

"Huff! You're driving me crazy!" Leaning against the bed, Yan Yan had an infuriated look on her face.

"Uh..." Lin Tian stood awkwardly in place, not knowing what to do, and whispered to himself, "Feels pretty good!"

"What did you say!" Yan Yan frowned and glared at Lin Tian.

"Ah, nothing!" Lin Tian said with an awkward smile.

"Hmph!" Coldly glancing at Lin Tian, Yan Yan huffed and muttered under her breath, "Pervert!"

Hearing this, Lin Tian just pursed his lips but said nothing.

After a moment of silence, something occurred to Yan Yan and she suddenly turned to Lin Tian and shouted, "What time is it now?"

Looking at her oddly, Lin Tian took out his phone and replied, "Almost nine, why?"

"Nine already? Oh no!" With a cry of alarm, Yan Yan tried to get out of bed.

Seeing this, Lin Tian quickly went over to help her up, curiously asking, "What's wrong? Do you have something to do?"

"It's nothing, I need to go now!" Yan Yan took a deep breath and tried to stand up on her own.

"You can't go out like this, better rest a bit." Lin Tian advised.

"No, I need to leave now!" Yan Yan looked somewhat anxious.

Seeing her like this and guessing she might have something urgent, Lin Tian offered, "How about I take you?"

"No..." Yan Yan began to refuse.

"Come on, no more talking, how can you go out alone in your condition!" Lin Tian cut her off before she could finish.

Hearing this, Yan Yan hesitated for a bit and then said nothing more.

Ten minutes later, they were sitting in a taxi outside the hotel.

Looking at Lin Tian sitting beside her, Yan Yan said somewhat helplessly, "I told you, no need to escort me further!"

"It's no trouble, might as well send the Buddha to the west!" Lin Tian said with a slight smile. Knowing Yan Yan and seeing her condition, he really didn't feel at ease letting her go alone.

"Fine, if you insist on following, then follow!" Seeing Lin Tian's firm attitude, Yan Yan turned her head away and said nothing more.

Glancing at her, Lin Tian asked, "How did you get mixed up with that guy?" Lin Tian was asking about Lin Long.

"It's nothing..." Yan Yan's eyes flickered, and she shook her head, clearly in a bad mood.

Seeing that Yan Yan didn't want to talk more, Lin Tian didn't ask further. Suddenly, both fell silent. Out of boredom, Lin Tian looked out of the window.

Ten minutes later, Lin Tian turned his gaze from the window back to Yan Yan and asked, "Do you have some urgent matter? You seemed in such a hurry to get back?"

Yan Yan's gaze remained out the window, she didn't turn her head, showing no intention of responding.

Feeling somewhat disheartened, Lin Tian grimaced and eventually took out his phone to start reading a novel.

Ten minutes later, they arrived at their destination and got out of the car.

After getting out, Yan Yan turned to Lin Tian and said, "Thank you, I am fine now."

"I'll walk you there!" Lin Tian said, eyeing the somewhat dark alley ahead. It was the only path forward, obviously where Yan Yan intended to go.

The darkness ahead made Lin Tian uneasy.

"No need!"

"Let's go!" Lin Tian didn't say much, just led the way forward.

Seeing this, Yan Yan sighed helplessly and followed him.

As they walked, Lin Tian noticed the houses here were quite old, likely part of an old district.

After a while, suddenly, sounds of banging and crashing came from ahead, as if someone was smashing things. At the same time, swearing could be heard near Lin Tian.

Hearing the noise, Yan Yan's face changed and she rushed forward.

Seeing this, Lin Tian quickened his pace as well.

Soon after, Lin Tian followed Yan Yan into a bungalow.

As soon as they entered, Lin Tian saw a man in his fifties yelling at Yan Yan, "Stupid girl, coming back so late, where the hell did you go?"

Then the man noticed Lin Tian following behind and cursed angrily, "And you brought some stray man back?"

Reaching the doorway, Lin Tian scanned the inside of the room. The room was simple, filled with basic wooden furniture. Simultaneously, some chairs were lying on the ground, clearly someone had lost their temper.

Glancing at the floor, Lin Tian's eyes moved to the man. He was probably in his fifties, slightly balding and his face somewhat flushed with an agitated look in his eyes.

Seeing this, Lin Tian frowned, and then noticed another woman beside the man.

This woman was also around fifty years old, showing a helpless expression. There was a faint resemblance to Yan Yan on her face. Lin Tian guessed this was likely Yan Yan's mother.

Yan Yan glared at the man and shouted loudly, "Stop yelling, you just know how to drink, have some decency!"

"Stupid girl, dare to teach your old man a lesson!" Hearing this, the man became enraged and quickly walked towards Yan Yan.

"Ah! Don't!" Seeing this, the woman behind him hurried forward to try to hold him back.

"Get out of the way!" The man swung his arm, flinging the woman to the ground, then with a furious face, he quickly approached Yan Yan.

"Dammit, still daring to lecture me!" Arriving in front of Yan Yan, the man slapped her across the face.

Suddenly, Lin Tian grabbed his hand.

"Let go!" The man shouted angrily, trying to pull his hand free, but it was stuck!

"Damn!" Seeing that his hand wasn't freeing, in a rage, the man grabbed a chair next to him and swung it at Lin Tian's head.
