Chapter 2926 The Upper Realm I

Chapter 2926  The Upper Realm I

Minos felt his body enter a submerged world, but he immediately felt familiar with the place, turning his thoughts to the last challenge of Devdar's inheritance.

His throne helped him to have an extra connection with the dimension, but Devdar's opportunities helped him a lot once he saw the surrounding space stabilize.

Similar to the previous dimension he had passed through in Devdar's inheritance, the Upper Realm was submerged, with a bluish environment and many living beings and structures common to the ocean floor of the worlds Minos had passed through. But this place was also unique in its own way, containing luminous, star-like points on its floor, but also a more stable space and more solid laws. The energy was as powerful as that of Hell, super-dense, but with the opposite affinity, more towards light than darkness. Even so, darkness was part of the universal essence and existed even in the dimension opposite to Hell. Minos didn't find this strange, however. He had already learned this in Hell, where there was light, too.

Another peculiarity similar to that of Hell was the vastness of the space of the Upper Realm. As soon as he arrived near an area of reefs and buildings in solid floating areas, Minos tried unsuccessfully to observe the realm's boundaries.

Despite the similarities, there was one thing the dimension was opposite to Hell: how populated the dimension was! Minos couldn't tell the total difference between Hell and the Upper Realm just from what he was seeing now. But by counting only the living beings in the vicinity, one would reach numbers that he didn't think differed greatly from the entire population of Hell!

'Maybe what there isn't of undead here is made up for by living beings...'

He looked around with a smile, feeling more 'welcomed' than when he entered Hell the first time.

Not only was there no one to try to dominate him and send him into a competition for domains, but the place was more inviting, full of life and possibilities.

"The Upper Realm is naturally more populous because of its implicit rules. Here, members of the same lineage as those with positions in the realm are offered the chance to pass through the Dawn Gates without having to fulfill any requirements. This makes the realm a much more diverse and inhabited dimension than Hell." The throne explained one of Minos' initial doubts.

"As such, some of your relatives and bloodline companions are already here waiting for you." Minos opened his eyes wider as he turned his attention from the throne to this underwater area. He looked at the coral reef closest to where he was, and could see from a distance that there was something like an underwater city there. But in each of the portions of floating masses, similar to floating islands, there were also buildings and living beings going about their business.

The throne said, "Everything you can see is now part of your throne's domain. This population within your reach are, in part, natives of the Upper Realm. Your heirs are waiting for you in your palace."

Minos sensed the throne's sign and looked at one of the 'floating islands', the highest and most beautiful of all these terrestrial bodies in this underwater world.

The throne sensed Minos' wishes and, in an instant, moved towards its destination.

Minos saw his surroundings change rapidly, leaving the point where he could see his entire domain to find himself inside a large hall. There, he saw the surprised expressions of the various creatures standing around chatting when he suddenly arrived.

"Everyone, welcome to my realm," he said as a beautiful smile formed on his face, drawing all the eyes of the great hall to him.

The dozens of individuals who had chosen to ascend with the opportunity given by him, including his family members, such as Lily, Oswald, Maisie, among others, but also dragons and seraphim, all turned towards the throne in the middle of this hall that had suddenly come to life.

Among them were also Devdar and the three contenders for the inheritance who had lost out to Minos.

Minos saw these four with whom he had a lot to talk about now that he was in the Upper Realm, but he focused on his friends and family first.

First, he addressed the seraphim, represented there by the leader of the Seraphim Dimension. "My friends, today I fulfill my promises to your race. I still have a lot to learn about the Upper Realm, but right now I give you the freedom to come and go, to be under my care, or even to be independent."

He looked at the dragons and continued, "The same goes for you. I believe there are many roles in my domains for anyone who decides to follow me. But if you don't want to get involved, I totally understand. You will still have a place to live in my territories and the freedom to come and go. Think about that as you learn about the Upper Realm over the next few days."

Minos didn't expect an immediate response, although some of those individuals were willing to follow him even without more time to think. He turned to his family members, happy to see them after the last few years of effort, seeing them at different levels to where they were the last time they saw each other.

Lily was at the apex of the 12th stage and it probably wouldn't take her long to reach level 125, given how rich the Upper Realm was, but also how talented she was. But even his grandparents and his mother were much stronger, having reached the high level of the 12th stage, too.

The weakest of Minos' blood relatives in the Upper Realm was at level 121!

Oswald, currently at level 123, approached his grandson and tapped one of Minos' shoulders. "Congratulations on your ascension, Minos!"

Others of them said their words too, with Devdar and the strongest ones there making room for the family to greet the winner of the inheritance; the new holder of a throne in the realm.

Minos returned the good words of his family members, thanking them and telling them that, as much as he didn't yet know their certain destiny, he would strive to help them go even further and achieve immortality alongside him.

Before that, however, he needed to conclude his business with Devdar and understand more about the present context of the Upper Realm!

With a glance at Devdar and the three losing Celestials, they moved to another part of the palace, leaving the others in the hall free to get to know their new home.
