Chapter 2917  Into the Hell for the Last Time!

Entering Hell this time was much easier for Minos than before. Not only did he reach the inside of the dimension quicker and easier, he also entered Hell unnoticed by the powerful Devils.

As he no longer had a hellish crown, naturally, Qhava and the others didn't sense him. At the same time, because of the affinity built up and still existing in his soul, he felt compatible enough with the dimension to completely hide the signs of his arrival from those closest to him—those who could perceive him. As he looked from one side of the vastness of Hell to the other, Minos didn't see the relief on the horizon, but his destiny flashing before his eyes. A golden hourglass spun around him, while archaic symbols seemed to materialize in his proximity, with the ground around him moving as if it were made up of infinite ants. But the black granules—essence of the purest darkness in all of existence—were unable to rise beyond Minos' knees as he remained motionless, unshaken by any force acting around him.

His attention wandered long distances until it reached decades into the future, seeing ahead a series of variables that would lead him to entirely different positions. Lucky for him, the Hell didn't have a very significant population. After almost four minutes of focusing on his powers of clairvoyance, he found a way to Vicente Fuller.

His eyes opened and without looking down, he set off, pushing away the infernal black liquid that would 'like' to reintegrate with him.

Minos crossed the space, confusing himself with the horizon itself, disappearing from the place where he arrived without leaving a trace behind.

Meanwhile, he saw the surrounding space change several times, heading for Vicente Fuller's territory, through which he could communicate with the boy. 'He's not in Hell, as I predicted earlier. But lucky for me, he left a clone.' Minos smiled in relief, having not previously foreseen this point in the future. But his confidence in what that young prodigy promised paid off when he saw the intermediary left by Vicente.

Vicente Fuller had a special ability that made him able to control other people's bodies. Combined with his other powers, it wasn't difficult for him to create an artificial version of himself, better than a soul fragment, which he left behind to take care of his infernal domains and learning.

Minos thought about little Vicente's achievements. As he had already reached a position of power high enough to cross great distances of the grandiose Hell in a short time.

After just 20 minutes of flying, he slowed down to a near standstill.

He felt Vicente's aura around him, a mark of the territory of a rising Devil, who was not yet strong enough to set the rules, but could already be considered more than a promise.

'This guy's gotten a lot stronger. Soon he should become a Celestial.' Minos smiled at the sight of a yellow stone palace close to where he arrived, a reddish plateau, almost entirely barren and uninhabited.

But when he got to within 100 meters of the palace, shadowy figures appeared alongside the undead and some local natives.

They didn't approach Minos, naturally sensing the explosive power within the body of this human on the verge of advancing to the next stage.

Then, a figure identical to Vicente's left the entrance to the palace, passing through a long, half-open black metal door and looking directly into Minos' eyes.

"Senior, I see you survived whatever happened to make you lose your crown," Vicente said as he bowed his head and made a respectful gesture of greeting.

Despite his growth, Vicente remained humble, recognizing not only the difference in power between them but also Minos' experience.

Minos didn't mind talking to the real version or the clone of Vicente. Moving on, he briefly greeted the boy with the long black hair, speaking as he made his way inside the palace.

"I have little time, so I'm afraid I won't be able to hear much about what you've been through. I'm about to move on and I'll have to leave Hell in a few minutes... I'm here to talk about what I promised you earlier."

Vicente's clone listened carefully, not forgetting that Minos wanted something in return for saving him and giving him the opportunity to enter Hell.

Minos took a deep breath and looked at the black crypt, where there was a well of Hell Drops—something common to every core of demonic territory—seeming to think of something that even he didn't believe. "Vicente." He called out, stopping his voice for a long 20 seconds after that. "The Hell and the Upper Realm were once together. I had that doubt before, but now back in the dimension, I'm sure of it."

Vicente remained silent, but his eyes grew wider as he stared at the figure's back.

"I feel that my duty, my purpose, or more importantly, my only way out, is to bring these two singularities together. But I won't achieve that feat without a capable Devil at my side." Minos looked at Vicente as he showed one of his hands.

"Then that will be your mission. Help me unite the two dimensions and create a new era!"

Vicente was almost shaking when he heard Minos' words, and he couldn't help but think of that moment as their destiny coming true.

Minos turned to Vicente again, this time coming closer to the young Devil, placing one of his hands on one of his shoulders. "I know there are matters you wish to discuss with me. But as I said last time, we'll see each other one last time. Save your words for our next meeting. Now make sure you follow the necessary steps to achieve our ultimate goal."

Minos didn't need to ask if Vicente agreed to join him. He already knew the boy would accept before trying to talk to him about something from the past. But like someone in a hurry, he got straight to the point with what mattered now.

"You're strong. I can feel it from your clone. But you still need to get stronger. Go ahead with your plans and look for someone called Mylecent. She'll help you and through her you'll be able to understand my position."

Vicente nodded. "I understand. I'll do my best to be ready for this ambitious plan, Senior Minos."

Minos smiled, feeling more relieved to have confirmed this boy's vitality and his position on this idea that had come to him after cultivating in the violet dimension. Many years had passed since his last meeting with Vicente and this boy was now a mid-level Supreme. But even so, the black-haired boy still seemed to have the same goals as the first time Minos saw him.

"Good. Before I came here, I found out about the outcome of the infernal war I left you to deal with," Minos said, without going into too much detail. "I thought about sending you on another mission, but that won't be necessary. You're already on the path that will satisfy my other objectives."

As Vicente wondered what Minos had in mind, he looked up and walked out of the palace underground. All that was on his mind now was what he had seen about Hell in his visions, which had allowed him to discover how his family had gotten out of trouble with Qhava, who was too busy with Vicente and Devil Ritter to worry about his heirs. "Just watch out for that fellow. Him, even I can't handle. And when I enter the Upper Realm, I don't know if I'll be able to help you deal with him, even if I pass such a figure," Minos said with a green smile, with no need to mention the name to make Vicente understand who he was referring to. "I'll take care of myself. Good luck with your plans, Senior." Vicente smiled at Minos, not stopping him from leaving as he had already planned.

With that settled, Minos made use of Devdar's artifact, departing from the dimension to the place where he intended to make his advance so that he could compete in the last phase of the contest for Devdar's inheritance.
