Chapter 2896 Outcome of the Battle in the Capital

Back in the capital of Uzira...

Only a few minutes had passed since Minos' arrival, but the scene in the capital was horrifying the locals, creatures allied with or positive towards the royal family, or even neutral, wide-eyed at the result of the attack on the seat of royalty.

At the moment, tens of thousands of undead remains were scattered all over the city, but mainly around the seat of government.

Citizens from all over the capital, holed up where they had managed to hide when Minos' assault began, were now looking at the remains of the rapid combat that had developed, peering out from behind doors and windows, hidden behind thick-walled buildings, almost in disbelief.

A high-level Supreme, a six-winged dragon, had risen above the city a few moments ago and attacked the seat of government, challenging the necromancers and the two Celestials stationed in the city.

Now what was left of the necromancers was difficult to distinguish where each of them had come from, with their corpse puppets either completely destroyed or scattered around the city.

Surprisingly, apart from the corpses already littering the capital, only the outskirts of the main local square, where the seat of the royal family was located, suffered from the exchange of movements between the enemy and local forces.

But in the focus of the destruction, the few brave enough to take a look at what had resulted from the heavy fighting moments ago - which had left over 70% of the city unconscious before the fighting had even ended-were now seeing the most incredible scene of their lives.

A man with long white hair, seraphim wings and human form was holding one of his feet to the throat of one of the kingdom's most famous Celestials, with the local level 125 native extremely wounded, between life and death.

The other Celestial had died in the midst of combat, and his remains were not far from where Minos was looking into the eyes of the last enemy of any concern to him.

"You should have accepted my proposal," Minos said in a low voice, his aura still very strong and stable, without any sign of injury to his body. But he was a little dirty from the fight, sweating moderately.

Dealing with two level 125 Celestials was still not such a trivial task for Minos.

But he was fine and unconcerned about the possible survivors of his attack, which he had no doubt had wiped out at least 70% of the royal family's experts who had been at the seat of government moments ago.

The man heard Minos' voice but said nothing, genuinely regretting it. If he could go back in time, he would have chosen surrender. Serving Mylecent would certainly be better than dying for Minos! Hell, even suffering Mylecent's punishments would be better than dying!

Minos used his prophetic powers and moved to grab the man by the scruff of his neck before he died. "Let me see what you know."

With those words, Minos made the mortally wounded Celestial lose all senses of pain, an instant later feeling himself in another space, with his physical form entirely intact. In this special dimension, Minos wasn't holding him by the neck, but sitting in front of a fire, drinking hot tea.

"That?" The man almost believed that reality had altered completely, when Minos smiled, seeing that even a Celestial could be fooled by how realistic the Infinite Dream had become.

Minos knew that he could make a person on the verge of death experience thousands of years inside the Infinite Dream, if he wanted to allow it.

But he wasn't interested in testing the limits of his mental ability with that opponent. Opening his mouth, he got straight to the point. "Sit down and let's talk."

The man felt as if something was forcing him to move, Minos' own words serving as laws that he himself could not deny.

"Tell me everything you know."

Minos released the already dead body of the level 125 Celestial, having in one second experienced the equivalent of more than a year of interrogation with that individual's soul.

This interrogation was enough for him to understand many things about the origin of that adversary, the recent configuration of the royal family, past conflicts, but also about the current war and where Eternal Death was.

Few people, even in the royal family, knew the exact location of Eternal Death's territory in the Hell. Minos didn't get that answer, but he did find out where the royal family's entrance/exit to the Hell was. He also found out the names and positions of those able to come and go from Hell to take and bring back information.

'I hope I didn't kill those people during my attack! He thought as he sighed while looking at the damage he had done to the central part of Uzira's capital.

As he already knew, the place where the Hell of the sovereign family of the continent entered/exited was in the capital. In particular, this place was in the sanctuary of Eternal Death, the family's shadow ruler.

Minos then moved one of his hands and immediately all the dust and smoke in the air in the surroundings dispersed, completely revealing the situation in the surroundings, of the area of over 3 square kilometers filled with rubble, bodies and traces of the blows from earlier.

Then, with a smile on his face, Minos made a black vortex appear on his back, as the dead in the area rose to the horror of the locals and family survivors.

'Ah, your technique is really very good, Forfex. I'll thank you when we see each other again. Minos thought to himself as he used his understanding of the laws behind the

Hell Crown.

Even though he had lost the Infernal Crown, Minos had naturally not lost his understanding of how that Absolute grade absorbable weapon worked. By activating this understanding with his powerful cultivation, he made a weakened and false version of a Reincarnation Wheel appear behind him, taking to the Hell the souls that were of no value to him and he wanted to avoid reviving. Meanwhile, those he cared about opened their eyes and soon kneeled down to acknowledge their master. Minos then walked towards the ruins of the royal palace, heading for the sanctuary of Eternal Death, in search of someone capable of luring the enemy back to the

continent.

Abby, Gloria and Ruth had their mission, but he wouldn't wait for their plan to work. Instead, he wanted as many plans in motion as possible to end this local war as soon

as possible!
