Chapter 1346 Witness His Glory (7)
The vision ended here and such a sudden break in the flow of information from the past was jarring no matter how much the Reflection tried to search for traces of the past, this was all it could decipher, those few oppressive moments when the Primordial Demon had arrived and crushed everything under his endless might.
One of the reasons why he could no longer collect more information was simply because the Reflection was too weak, and the Reflection believed this to be the truth because no matter how he tried to remember what the Primordial Demon did at the end, everything he could recollect was just two black hands, perhaps if his main body was here then he would be able to glean more, but what he had seen was more than enough.
Knowledge had its own weight and knowing more about the Primordial Demon might not necessarily be a good thing at his level.
He did not see what happened next but from the remnants of the battlefield, he could infer what transpired with a certain degree of accuracy that was acceptable.
The headless body of Thenos was filled with the power of darkness and much of this realm was also filled with this power, and because he saw the vision of the past, the Reflection recognized that this power came from the Demon Lord Tenebris. This more than anything displayed the true power of this Demon Lord, but why had he chosen to hold back against the Sirens was a matter that was troubling on the surface, and if one dug deeper into this matter, more cracks begin to surface, but to avoid being sidetracked on a matter that was nearly impossible for him to discover the truth about, the Reflection placed this aside.
The Reflection knew that not only Thenos was punished and murdered on that day, but Tenebris was also made an example of, and his punishment was not lesser than the Sirens. The traces were faint, but this Demon Lord was still alive, but everything about him had become corrupted, he was made into a cancer for the sole purpose of torturing the corpse of Thenos for all eternity.
This realm was screaming in pain, and if not for the innate resilience of Rowan's unique mind to madness and other mental maladies, this Reflection would have long gone insane.
There was much to learn here, and the Reflection pondered over it for many years and finally, he settled on a plan. It was simple yet insane, but the best plans usually were.
This Primordial Weapon, even if it was the only benefit it could gain for his main body, he needed to have it.
Not only because it was an extremely powerful weapon that would aid his main body in the future, but he knew that in the not-so-distant future, the World Stele that had been banished would find its way back to this realm, and if it had access to this weapon, then Rowan would have another great barrier that he would have to find a way to conquer, and despite all the miracles that his main body was capable of, at some point, Rowan limits would be broken. The World Stele could never have this spear.
For whatever reason the Primordial Demon had not taken back the weapon he had given to Tenebris, and he had simply crucified the Sirens with it and then left, and if nothing changed in this fallen realm, this would be how everything would remain until the end of existence. Maybe for a Primordial Demon, this weapon no longer had any meaning, after cleansing reality of every threat that they faced, who else was there to fight? Even if this weapon was no longer needed by a Primordial, it did not mean he should allow it to fall into the wrong hands, especially against an enemy that he would undoubtedly be fighting against in the future.
At any other time claiming a Primordial Weapon when he was nothing but a Reflection would be an insane proposition. He was a third-dimensional immortal, and the barest minimum requirement to wield a weapon of this nature was to be an eighth-dimensional immortal, and that was not even considering the fact that from the memory traces, he could see from that battle, not just any eighth-dimensional immortal could touch this weapon, then how would he be able to do it?
The Reflection might be a stripped-down version of Rowan, but even a single hair of a titan like him was greater than a mighty oak, and his mind and constitution could not be compared to a normal immortal.
Some of the greatest geniuses in reality would spend millions even billions on their path, and yet in a single glance, Rowan could master that path. Reality was cruel, but it was still balanced. A genius could spend all their lives battling to become a god, and when they did, they would be satisfied thinking they had reached the height of their existence, in many third-dimensional universes, that was the case, but Rowan could become a god in a single second if he wanted, but he would have to deal with the true forces that controlled reality.
Sometimes it was hard to know who had the better end of the deal.

Despite all of the advantages that the Reflection had, it took him centuries before he understood the path he needed to take in order to seize this spear, and that path would be fusion.
From what he could infer, to control this weapon, he would need to take over the connections that it had with the forces around it. He did not know why the Primordial Demon left this spear with the connection with Tenebris still on it, but he still saw the connection with the Demon Lord remained. Was it possible that perhaps the Demon Lord had earned this weapon and despite his betrayal to the cause of the Primordials, there were certain rules that they were not willing to break?
As much as Rowan's dimensional flesh mimicked the perspective of flesh, it was not, but it had all the benefits of a fleshy body, and so the Reflection tackled this problem from both sides, as a dimension, and as a fleshy body.
The first part of it as a fleshy body would be to assimilate the darkness of the Demon Lord here and become a Demon of a sort.
Rowan had spent time in the Great Abyss, and he knew the corrupting influence of its powers that were entrenched in the body of every demon. An influence that did not care about the race, everything could become a Demon.
If not for the fury of the Primordial Demon that had left this world in silence, countless Demons would have found a way to enter this realm in order to consume the Essence of the Demon Lord here.
With the darkness infecting everything inside this realm, consuming the powers of the Demon Lord was not easy, this was a task that only the most powerful of Demon Kings would have the pedigree to even dream of attempting because becoming a Demon Lord was not just having the correct energy stores, it was also about merging with a Great Level of the Abyss.
The Reflection did not need to merge with an Abyssal level, since he only required the surface level of power in order to imitate the energy of Tenebris, however, he knew that this would not be enough to claim this spear and so this naturally led to the second aspect he would be utilizing, with was the path of the Dimension.
In the same manner that the Reflection would be used to merge with the energy of the Tenebris, it was also the same manner he would be attempting to merge with the Sirens. This essentially meant he was merging himself into this realm since Sirens and Thenos could simply be seen as another facet of the realm.
He would have preferred merging directly with Thenos, but he was still a very weak three-dimensional being, and in time as he consumed both the essence of Tenebris and the Sirens, then it was no problem for him to reach the level where he could one day consume Thenos, and if he did, this Eternal Realm would essentially become his body, and in a single stroke, this Reflection would become many more times more powerful than his main body. However, even his most optimistic projection of when he could complete such a feat was so far in the future that he knew that the World Stele would have long returned. Nonetheless, he was not attempting to consume Thenos but to collect this spear, and he should have enough time to do so.
Opening himself to the corruption of the darkness, the Reflection began his journey through the depths of the Abyss and beyond.
Eons passed in this process, and slowly but surely, he became a Demon, however, this had a price. The Primordial Demon was a merciless being, and the punishment he had imposed on this realm, descended on the Reflection.
