Chapter 131 What will it be?
Chapter 131 What will it be?
Tessa walked forward, staring at Leon. "It's about Alex...."
"Huh?" Leon muttered, slightly confused.
"He's not who everyone thinks he is," Tessa said. "He has done unthinkable things."
A slight frown appeared on Leon's face.
"I know it might sound unreasonable now," Tessa continued, "but trust me, I have no reason to lie."
"I still don't get it," Leon said. "What unthinkable things are you talking about?"
Tessa glanced at Arin, who nodded his head and walked forward. He stopped directly in front of Leon before speaking, "I'll show you something."
Leon was still confused, but he nodded his head.
With that, Arin placed his fingers on Leon's forehead, and then.....
'Transfer.....'
Instantly, information flooded Leon's head about what Alex did. They came in the form of images—how Alex killed Tessa's parents and other individuals and how he used them to perform a ritual.
Immediately after the information finished transferring to Leon, Arin withdrew his fingers and walked backward, giving Leon time to process the information.
Seconds later, Leon raised his head and opened his eyes, staring at Arin and Tessa.
The silence continued for some seconds before Leon finally spoke.
"How am I sure that all this is true?"
"They are true, Leon," Tessa said. "Me being here is proof."
Tessa explained to Leon how she wasn't allowed to see the bodies of her parents and also about the dark smoke coming from Alex's body.
"It was the same smoke you also saw coming out from his body?" Leon asked with furrowed brows.
"Yes," Tessa replied. "That was when I truly realized that he was really the one."
Leon couldn't help but think. 'If Tessa, who is in a relationship with Alex, is saying with all confidence that Alex killed her parents and other individuals, then there's a high chance that it's true.'
"And Alex isn't kind and caring like people think he is," Tessa said. "If I had tried asking him about it, there's a very high chance that he'd silence me."
A sharp look appeared in her eyes as she stared at Leon. "And you know how he would do that."
Leon gulped immediately when he saw the look in Tessa's eyes. Read latest chapters at My Virtual Library Empire
Arin was yet to say anything. He just watched as Tessa spoke.
"Look, I know it's hard to believe, especially with the image Alex has set for himself," Tessa said. "But in truth, I have no reason to just lie against him like that."
"The only reason I still laugh and speak with him is to make sure he doesn't suspect anything. After all, I don't have the strength yet to really do anything against him," Tessa added.
Leon thought about what Tessa said as he glanced at Arin. "How were you able to get this information?"
"It's something I can do," Arin said. "I can get information about someone and transfer it, though it doesn't work for everyone and also not every time."
"I can show you something that'll make you believe me if you want," Arin added.
Leon squinted his eyes. "Okay, show me."
Arin walked towards Leon and placed his fingers on his forehead.
Immediately, information began transferring. Leon's eyes widened in shock.
The information was from a certain day before Leon transferred to the Academy—when his father was screaming at him in their mansion.
It came in the form of images, so Leon was able to see that it was the exact same clothes he wore and also the exact same clothes his father wore.
Leon gasped. "Nobody knows about this except my brother..... H..... How?"
"Now you believe me, right?" Arin asked.
At this point, Leon didn't have any other option but to believe Arin, especially after what he had just shown him.
'Thankfully, a bit of Leon's past was written in the novel,' Arin thought.
Now, the chance of Leon believing them had increased drastically.
Arin smiled as he stretched out his right hand. "So what will it be, Leon? Join me..."
Leon stared at Arin's outstretched hand, ready to make a decision.

"Another war, huh?" Rowan muttered as he placed his elbow on the armrest and rested his palm on his cheek.
"Yes, my King," Alex replied.
"I had already seen this coming, but I don't think it's time to rush yet," Rowan said. "Currently, the students in all the Academies, both Mages and Warriors, are all being well taught."
Alex nodded his head. "Yes, but I think the students should start getting hints that another war is approaching. And training for students should increase."
Rowan raised a brow. "You have a point....."
Alex nodded his head as he smiled. "Thank you, my King, but of course, you'll be the one to give the final decision, and I'll be ready to follow whatever you decide."
Rowan smirked. "Hmm, talking about Academies, I think it's time to do a cleansing..... Just in case."
Alex knew what Rowan was talking about, so he didn't bother to ask about it.
"That aside," Rowan continued, "you should meet Elena.... She has been waiting for you."
A smile instantly formed on Alex's face as he lowered his head. "Understood, my King."
He got up and began walking towards the door.
"Alex..."
Rowan suddenly called out, making Alex turn back to look at him.
Rowan raised a brow as he grinned. "Remember your promise....."
Alex smirked as he turned back and continued walking towards the door. "Don't worry, King Rowan....."
Immediately after Alex exited the room, he met the same maid who had walked him to the throne room.
She lowered her head before speaking. "Princess Elena is waiting."
Alex nodded his head as he followed her to another door. She knocked twice before a girl's voice was heard.
"Come in."
The maid bowed and left, leaving Alex in front of the room.
Alex sighed before he opened the door and was greeted with a familiar sight.
The room was big and had a king-sized bed. He looked forward as his gaze settled on the balcony of the room, where a girl was standing.
Immediately after she saw Alex, she smiled.
"I have been waiting for you, Alex," Elena said as she arranged her blonde hair.
Alex walked forward with a smile, arriving at the balcony that overlooked part of the city.
Immediately after he arrived, Elena hugged him tightly before whispering in his ear.
"I missed you..... And just so you know, I'm already making plans for our wedding."
Alex chuckled. "Wedding, huh? You sure are a fast planner...."
