Chapter 116 Meeting Leon & Two Battles
Chapter 116 Meeting Leon & Two Battles
"I think it's time to meet Leon," Arin murmured as he began walking back to the main Academy building.
On the way, he told Seraphine what Riya did and about the girl who smirked at him.
She was still training in his room when those things happened, so she wasn't aware.
"The look in Riya's eyes when she stared at you was suspicious, huh?" Seraphine whispered.
"This just confirms two things," she added.
"What?" Arin asked as he reached the building and began heading towards the hallway.
"Firstly," Seraphine began, "she surely knows something. And this excuse she gave your sister and classmates was helpful. If not, you would have been getting thoroughly questioned right now."
"But," Seraphine continued, "we don't know why she helped you. We don't know if there's a hidden motive behind it or if she's doing it to gain something."
"Hmm," Arin murmured as he furrowed his brows. "That's true."
"That's why I have to confront her," Arin said. "I have to know what's going on."
"And when confronting her, I'll prepare for the worst," he added.
"Agreed," Seraphine said.
"And secondly?" He asked.
"Secondly," Seraphine began. "The way you explained the look in her eyes confirmed something. The first time, it was almost as if she wanted to kiss you, then in the Vampire Kingdom, Liora kissed you, and now, she looked at you seductively."
"It has been confirmed... Older women are into you!"
Arin's eyebrows twitched in anger as he gritted his teeth. "Shut up!"
Arin finally reached the hallway, and as expected, Leon was there, trying his best to talk to girls even though they were ignoring him.
Immediately, Arin reached where Leon was, grabbed his shoulder, and pulled him closer.
"Whaaa!"
Leon was taken by surprise, but then, Arin whispered into his ear.
"I have an offer for you."
"Offer?" Leon asked. "What kind of offer?"
Thankfully, Leon wasn't shouting this time, so others weren't hearing what they were saying.
"If you're interested, meet me at the mission hall three days from now," Arin said. "If you forget, you'll miss the opportunity."
'Please, let your dumbness show itself here,' Arin thought.
"Hmm," Leon muttered. "I have just one question."
"What?" Arin asked, unable to see Leon's facial expression because he was whispering in his ear.
"Will this offer make me get some girls?" Leon asked.
Arin smirked. "Of course. It's even one of the main reasons why I decided to tell you about this offer. I see you're trying your best, and I have something that can help, so of course I'll help."
"Hahahaha!" Leon laughed out loud, startling the students who were still in the hallway. "I knew I would find my brother one day!"
"Since you could sense my struggle and have decided to help me, you are indeed my brother!" Leon added.
Arin smiled wryly as he let go of Leon's shoulder. "Keep it down, you don't want others to find out about it, do you?"
Leon's eyes widened as he looked around, checking if anyone was listening. "Of course not."
Arin sighed as he tapped Leon's shoulder. "Don't forget."
"Understood..." Leon whispered, trying to be quiet as much as possible.
Arin nodded before walking out of the main Academy building.
"That boy will certainly not tell anybody," Seraphine said. "He won't let such a chance slip."
"I know," Arin said as a smirk formed on his face. "In three days from now, we'll acquire the Shadow Seed."
'I have to complete the new Water Element Spell I'm making,' Arin thought. 'And I also have to find a way to create a Chaos Element Spell and understand the Element more.'
He remembered what the system said about the Chaos Element being the Major Weakness of the Three Supreme Races. He needed to know more about it.
'But how?' Arin thought. 'I'll figure something out... Definitely.'
'I should also consider making my own Chaos Element Spell,' Arin thought. 'But I'll really need to understand the Element for that.'
Arin reached the dorm building and climbed the stairs before entering his room.
With a sigh, he removed the bracelet and dropped it on the floor. Instantly, a glow appeared from the bracelet, and it was no longer there. Instead, Roxanne was now standing on the same spot.
She lowered her head before speaking. "Greetings, Lord Arin."
Arin nodded his head in response as she raised her head.
'I hope things don't get boring for her,' he thought.
Arin stared at her before speaking. "My eyes will be closed for a while, but don't worry, I'm fine."
Roxanne was slightly confused, but she still replied. "Understood."
With that, Arin sat down on the floor in a lotus position.
'Three days from now, I'm confident that there's going to be two battles,' he thought. 'And I must be prepared for both. After all, one of them will be against Alex...'
Arin knew that he was still not strong enough to defeat Alex, but he had a plan, one that would leave Alex confused.
'Even with that plan, I might still not defeat him, but I'll use it to know if I'm actually getting closer to defeating him.'
After sitting in a lotus position, Arin closed his eyes, and he instantly concentrated.
Roxanne stared at him for some seconds with a smile on her face before she walked towards the window, observing the students who were still walking about.
Meanwhile, Arin began moving his Mana around his body while drowning out all the noise around him.
Seconds passed by as his concentration deepened, while increasing the speed at which he was moving his Mana.
And then, finally...
WHOOSH!
Arin opened his eyes and found himself in the familiar endless space that stretched out as far as the eyes could see.
The blue mist, which was actually Mana, was present, and the clouds in the sky were moving slowly. The space was bright even though the source of light was unknown.
Arin got up, standing on the familiar ocean-like surface that showed his reflection. Even though he was standing on water, he didn't sink. He sat down in a lotus position again, sending ripples on the water.
"Good," Arin said as he squinted his eyes. "I must complete this Spell today."
