Chapter 1030: Arad Likes That

Arad flew with Aella, Merida, and Eris to the swamps where Zul's lair was. He landed right in the middle, looking around and sniffing the ground. "Is there something here?" Merida asked with a worried face. "Will this take too long?"

She knew why Arad was taking them with him, and she didn't want to delay a second. If anything dared get between her and her good time with Arad, she'll slice to pieces.

"Yes, two drakainas are digging beneath the ground and heading straight toward Zul's lair. She is still asleep and I doubt she'll wake up." Arad replied as he looked down, "I bet they are here to kill her, take her hoard and lair."

"Two Drakainas?" Merida growled with demonic magic rushing up her body as her eyes burned green, those two had just been added to the chopping list. Kill on sight as she had no mercy for those fools getting between her and Arad.

"Won't they run away the moment they sense you?" Aella looked around but she couldn't sense the two drakainas' magic.

"Indeed they'll do. But now I'm suppressing my magic and erasing my smell with the void, I doubt they'll recognize me as a dragon." He lifted his head, "They are too young to hold enough power to detect me, two adults or mature adults at best."

"Teacher Lala said you should be careful..." Eris looked at him with a worried face and quickly smiled, "No...It's probably just the strong ones that you should worry about. I could blast those two with a purple sun if you want."

"You two are right." Arad agreed with Merida and Eris, "Let's show them what happens to those who tries to kill our friends and acquaintance right under our doors."

Far beneath the ground, buried beneath thousands of meters of dirt and stone, two drakainas dug their way across the caverns. Their massive and sharp opal claws slashed through the stones like butter as their massive bodies slithered through the rubble like snakes.

The two soon reached a massive open cave and crawled out of the walls, looking around, and sniffing the air. "She is close, I can smell her." The older one said, giggling. They've waited for decades yet she never died. Now that a passive approach failed, they'll have to dirty their claws.

"So this is that cripple's layer? Buried herself alive out of shame." The younger one looked at the walls and the ground, even in her own lair, Zul's scent was scarce as if she didn't walk out of her bed for years.

"Indeed, I first thought we'd just let her die in peace, but that cockroach seems to have survived for two centuries like that." The older one growled, "We'll not wait any longer. We'll put her to rest ourselves and take this territory."

"What about that shorty? Won't she come for us?" The younger one was especially afraid of Betty's reaction. Zul's territory included Betty's university, but Betty seemed to ignore her. The two drakainas had heard countless stories about Betty the Flash and knew that if Zul wasn't sick, Betty might've killed her decades ago.

"As long as we don't threaten her large study she won't bother with us. And there are several kilometers of dirt and stone between us, her speed won't help her get here any quicker." The old laughed, "Last I heard, her delicate hands aren't suited for digging the mud."

The two walked deeper and deeper into Zul's lair. The traps were long forgotten and non- functional, roaming monsters and dust had filled the hallways and water had even flooded some sections of the cavern.

"Such a miserable state, you'll never believe that this is the lair of a drakaina. A disgrace to dragon kind." The younger one crushed a large lizard monster beneath her claw, "If those bugs are crawling around here, are you sure she isn't already dead?"

"She is alive, but her aura is far too weak. I bet she is hibernating to conserve energy. Only delaying the inevitable, no dragon can survive with their fundamentum like that." The two soon reached her.

"Old ZulFurNar, you creaky old lizard." The old drakaina smiled, "You've held onto this land for far too long and left it to rot, such a shame. I thought you'd die sooner or later in a hunt or against another dragon, but it seems my claws are destined to take your life."

She swung her claw down, but one inch before she could slash Zul's chest open, she stopped. "Something isn't right..." The old one screamed, dramatically recoiling back.

"What?" The younger drakaina looked at her, "I'll finish her off if you don't. It's shameful to kill the weak, but it isn't shameful to put them out of their misery."

"That's not it. Even if she was half dead and her brain was damaged, she should've at least flinched at the threat. Something is odd!" The old drakaina gasped, taking a few steps away from Zul.

"Impossible! It can't be! Unconscionable!" She glared at Zul, "This lizard, her body isn't afraid, she is at peace like a maiden between her man's arms and I can smell it, the scent of a dragon on her."

The ceiling above them exploded and a massive pile of rubble and stone collapsed over Zul, burying her whole.

"Don't tell me! That dragon was hiding nearby!" The younger black drakaina shouted, glaring at the dust cloud.

"No...this smell is weird!" The older one cried, lifting her arms to protect her head as a burning fist the size of a house flew from the dust. The punch pushed through the drakaina's guard and hit her straight in the face, exploding in a massive rose of fire and with enough force to send her flying back.

The younger drakaina cried, jumping back and charging a breath, "DIE!"

Even if she was just an adult black drakaina, her breath still consisted of thousands of liters of bone-melting acid, a massive splash enough to drown several elephants in seconds.

From the cloud of dust, a massive creature lunged out with a terrifying roar and burning red eyes. The unholy child of a mantis shrimp and a t-rex, armored with countless spiked black exoskeleton plates akin to those of a king crab and each of them dripped with green and black goop, reeking of sulfur.

The creature rushed straight through the drakaina's breath like it was nothing and grabbed her by the neck, throwing a powerful headbutt that exploded in a massive burst of fire and sent the drakaina rolling away.

"What are you!" The older drakaina charged as fast as she could, swinging her claw at the creature's neck, only for her attack to slide aside due to how hard the creature's exoskeleton was and how slippery it was with all of the goop.

The creature grabbed the two drakainas by the tails and dragged them away deeper into the cavern, shaking the whole cave with explosions as it dug through the stone with sheer

firepower.

With the whole cave shaking, the stones burying Zul crumbled away and were pushed aside by a set of massive black tentacles. Sitting on Zul's back was none other than Sena, brushing the dust off her hair as she looked in the direction the monster took the two drakainas. "Kill them both, they'll come back later for her if we spare them. Dragons hold grudges for life, but they also hold favors for life." She had a large smile on her face and her eyes slowly looked down at Zul, "Don't worry, it's not you who this favor is for."

Arad was digging through the ground, rushing toward Zul's lair when he sensed two familiar magic signals deep under the ground, right inside Zul's lair. One was that of Sena, and the second one looked a bit weird, it had grown several times stronger since the last time he saw

her.

"Is this an earthquake? It hasn't stopped for a whole minute." Aella and the rest were holding for dear life on Arad's back.

"I didn't expect her to grow this strong. I can smell the fire from here." Arad had a large grin

on his face.

Seeing the excited grin on his face the wives felt a bit jealous, a deep sense of loss crept up to their heads. "Who?" He said her....who is this woman who's Arad now so impressed with her

power?

"Selica, she is beating the two drakainas who tried to attack Zul, and she is winning by a lot."

She had really grown a lot.

****

"Our acid doesn't work on her!" The younger drakaina roared as she barely dodged an

explosive punch.

"NO! The more we hit her with acid the more explosions she's generating!" The older drakaina jumped back and Selica chased her, puking and splashing her dark green goo everywhere. After just a few seconds, the whole cavern they were fighting in was slithered whole with Selica's goop, even the two drakaina were painted from head to claws.

The last time Selica got kidnapped by Jordan's men she fought to the death and developed her immortal reacting core of the bacteria around her heart. Now that Sena had managed to give her a whole monster form she had turned into more than just a unique monster. Selica's sweat, saliva, blood, and all of her bodily fluids are now based on sulfuric acid mixed with potassium permanganate which resulted in the highly unstable and reactive green goop. That goop combusts upon contact with anything organic, which is why now the whole cavern they were fighting inside had burst into hellish flames.

The acid breath weapon of black dragons was a blast of highly concentrated sulfuric acid, which only allowed Selica to create more green goop.

As the two black drakainas burned, Selica charged at them and swung her fist, socking the older one in the stomach with a massive explosion that shattered a few ribs.

The green goop Selica's body generated was called manganese heptoxide, but that wasn't the only thing her body could generate. At will, she can also secrete either ethanol or acetone, which each generates a different reaction with the green goop.

If Selica wanted her explosions to be more direct and have piercing power to penetrate armor

she'd mix ethanol with the green goop in her punches, but if she wanted a massive explosion she'd mix acetone for a powerful blast.

The two drakainas found themselves helpless, unable to withstand the heat and explosive power Selica was generating, and since they were beneath the ground they couldn't fly away from her. After two minutes she had pummeled the two of them to death, crushing their bodies into a burned paste of charred flesh and shattered bones.

When Arad emerged inside Zul's lair and landed beside her he saw Sena sitting on her. "Arad, it's been a while." Sena said with a smile, looking at him.

"It's been longer for me than you." He returned the smiled, shifting back into his humanoid

form as the girls landed beside Sena. "The fight ended, those two are dead." Arad looked back with a smile as Selica seemed to be approaching.

Before showing up she stopped for a few seconds in the shadows, shifting into her humanoid form, and then remained hidden for almost two minutes before coming to light, approaching them, "Arad, you've come back?" With a single explosion from beneath her feet she propelled herself all the way to Zul's back and landed beside Arad.

"I just came to pick my wives. And the I sensed those two coming to Zul's lair." He looked at Zul and then shifted his gaze at Selica. "You've grown nicely."

Sena looked at Arad with a smug smile, "She can't control her transformation or the storage

bag well so she is always naked when she transforms back. She had to wear her clothes

earlier."

"Lady!" Selica shouted at her with a red face.

"You didn't need to tell me that." Arad sighed, he in fact could see Selica in the darkness

wearing her clothes.

Sena looked at Arad with a smug smile, "If you came to take your wives, then why stop here? You know I'll protect Zul, or at least send Selica to do it for me. Did you miss me that much?"

"No, I'll take Zul with me. I might be able to cure her now." Everyone stared at him, "Are you serious? How?"

Arad suddenly shrunk to the side of a fly and landed on Sena's thigh, "Like this, I can get even

smaller and cut whatever is growing inside her. I know someone who should be able to keep her alive long enough for healing magic to fully heal her."

"Is that so? Then I'll go with you, Selica is also coming if you don't mind." Sena looked at

Arad with a smile.

"I mind her less than you now." Arad looked at Selica with a smug smile.
