?

Another sword burst out of Gamond's stomach and she tumbled forward, feeling that her organs were being ripped apart piece by piece. Soon, over ten swords burst out of her torso and she fell to her knees, blood pouring out of her like rivers.

That blood glowed bright red and stood up, taking the form of a gigantic human, who soon appeared to have been Arad. Not even Gamond could mistake that godly muscular figure, she giggled with blood dripping from her mouth, "This isn't how I wanted you inside me."

"A monster attacks at night, several people die, it's a massacre and only three survived. Among those three two had bite marks on their neck and the last one didn't, they were all treated but suddenly one of the bitten ones turned into a monster so the guards killed him, and then killed the other man that got bitten before he could turn into a monster and kill everyone." Arad looked at Gamond with a smile on his face.

"The last one who didn't get bitten got inspected and nothing was found wrong. He gets sent to the shelter where all the others are hiding until the monster is caught and killed. And then at night, that man bursts from the inside out and the monster crawls out of him."

Gamond giggled, "You're that horror, hiding inside my blood all of this time."

"A mixture of blood and size magic." Arad stored his sword away and pulled Ann's rifle, "So, what will it be? While you were busy getting burned I was slowly recovering from your blood. Do you want to give up?"

"I admit, you're far stronger than I expected. I feel like it'll be a waste to lose control." She looked at him with a grin, "For dragons, it's not about domination over the other. It's about who has the freedom to choose whether to dominate or be dominated."

True dragons never give up, they are the definition of arrogance, pride, and power.

"I guessed as much." Arad looked back at Undine, "Who is she?"

"Hey! I'm the fire spirit queen Salamander, whatever you showed to Undine, show it to me!" Salamander growled at Arad. "I want to play as well!"

"It requires water so I doubt it'll work for you." Arad replied and Undine grabbed Salamander by the shoulder, "Forget about what he showed me, come let's help him."

"Fine, I'll blast that..." Salamander turned toward Gamond but Undine pulled her back, "Not like that, give Arad control."

Salamander gasped, "What are you talking about? Let him control the core of my magic? Are you insane?" To fairies, their magic core is something akin to a heart, the source of their powerful magic, and especially when a fairy becomes a queen, that core is far too precious to them. To Zephyr, that core was the crown she left for Aella, and for Undine, it was an amount of crystal-pure water that she had already shared with Arad.

Salamander pushed Undine away, "We two never got along for over four thousand years, I'll try to make your life a hell whenever I can. You know how much I hate your guts." She glared at her, "But I'd rather beg and suck your toes like a slave than expose my core to some unknown human, let alone allow him to touch or use it."

"Do it! Just Do it!" Undine stared at her with sparkling eyes and a large smile on her face, "It's worth it! Do it!"

Salamander sighed, "Fine, but I'll blame you for it later on." Undine's body turned into clear water and flew into Arad's mouth while Salamander's body shifted into a yellow spark that flashed its way into his chest.

?Do you like it here?^

^It feels weird with all the blood magic and curses, but I say it's a bit too slimy for me.^

^Sorry, that's probably my magic making the place a bit too wet.^

^You sure it's not something else?^

Undine looked away and Salamander got far too worried.

With the two fairies inside his head talking, Arad took a stance as he could feel a powerful wave of cold magic rushing out of Gamond's body. She isn't done yet, it'll never be this easy. This was where his plan ended, by now he had planned to fight Gamond and keep her busy until Undine recovers her magic, but with Salamander joining in he might be able to finish the fight quickly.

In terms of raw magic, Salamander seems to have a bit more mana and mana regeneration than Undine has, probably thanks to how active and violent flames are, which is good. He can use her to accelerate Undine's recovery while enchanting himself to keep Gamond at bay.

^Hey! Where do you think you're pushing me?!^ Salamander growled inside his head, ^I don't want to get that close to Undine! You can touch my core, but not her.^

^Come on Salamander, we need to use your quick recovery. Since Salamander's mana tank is full, her recovery has become inactive which is extremely inefficient as that could be helping Undine recover faster. Such a thing is usually impossible, but with both of their cores mixed into Arad's soul, the two were close enough that they almost became one.

^If I don't see anything worth my time I'll be joining her. Undine, I'll make you regret putting me in this situation.^

"Arad. Do you know what comes after the twilight?" Gamond's body started rapidly healing. He could've attacked her, but this wasn't a battle about winning or losing, it's about proving a point. It won't sit well to interrupt her.

"Our bodies grow stronger, bigger, and closer to mana. Taking a humanoid body becomes easier, our life span extends massively, and we learn something that none other than dragons who surpassed the twilight can dream of." She glared at him with burning blue eyes, "How to endure death and fight to the last drop of blood we have."

A dragon that surpasses the twilight won't perish even when killed, their consciousness will remain strong, moving their dead body to fight until their bodies completely falls apart and fail to hold its shape. In short, killing a dragon that surpassed twilight would only make a dragon zombie that still retains its consciousness and can return to life with enough healing. That is how Gamond survived the onslaught of Undine's oven, by using her magic to make sure that even if she died, her body wouldn't get fully cooked and turned to ash.

"I know, I was inside you. You won't die even if I kill you, which complicates things a lot for me." He sighed and by that time Gamond had fully healed, even her skin had returned to its usual pale and glossy finish created by the tiny draconic scales on her body.

"You allowed me to recover, how nice of you." She smiled, licking her lips.

"It's only fair, I've got Salamander here as well." His sword started burning red as the sky above them filled with thunderclouds.

"To think you'll still keep fighting after knowing that I can't be killed." She giggled, "You never fail to excite me up."

A burst of fire exploded beneath Arad's feet, powerful enough to send him flying toward Gamond and destroy a several-meter-wide ring around him.

^A quick burst of fire magic like an explosion to save mana. It's powerful yet cheap, the only problem is that it requires a great mastery over magic. This was the first thing Salamander saw that amazed her. She had never faced someone where she needed to worry about her mana running out so she never thought of conserving it like this.

In the middle of a typhoon of lighting, boiling rain, and roaring thunder, Arad's booming explosions filled the air as he flew all over the place clashing with Gamond. Neither of them would die from a mortal wound, so going for the heart was no worse than a flesh wound to

both of them.

Salamander could hear Undine growling a bit, it was probably because Arad was still using her water with her being still drained from earlier. She decided to focus on observing how Arad fought instead of worrying about a spirit queen.

^Water can hold more heat so he's using my fire to boil Undine water and then use that boiling water to fight Gamond's ice and cold, that's a more efficient approach. And he isn't just using my fire, he's also using the lightning from his weather magic to assist in heating the water.^ The more Salamander saw Arad fight the more interested in him she got. Each of his moves was precalculated and mainly focused on efficiency.

After fighting for a while, Gamond finally started pulling some big moves. In a fraction of a second, her fingers flashed brightly.

Arad knew that he must block this attack, otherwise he'd regret it. With a brilliant boom, the cold drakaina unleashed a massive blast of fire at Arad, rocking Yog's whole maze. She had already stored enough heat through temperature magic and fired it back at Arad.

"Only a fool gets stung from the same hole twice...and me since I've missed some." Arad was still standing in place, his left arm burned to a crisp but the rest of his body survived as massive sheets of ice protected him.

^What was that?^ Salamander cried, both surprised, annoyed, and slightly worried. The only reason Arad's arm ended up burned is because she pulled her powers from him at the last moment. If she hadn't chickened out, he would've survived the blast without a scratch. ^You're a fire spirit with a massive heat capacity, so I took all of the heat of Gamond's attack and shoved it inside you. You can notice your flames cost a lot more mana to create now.? Arad replied and Salamander couldn't just believe he used her magic to create cold, Undine water also helped him to mix that cold with water to create ice.

^It felt weird, like something creeping up my ass. Warn me next time.^ She cried but Arad giggled, ^Sorry, I can't promise that when every fraction of a second counts.^ Undine quickly jumped in, ^Salamander! I've told you to relax, don't resist anything, let him use you however he wants. You've just learned that you can freeze things, didn't you?^

"But... It just surprised me!^

AListen, to tell you, whenever he was boiling my water with your fire, do you know how that felt? I could feel your magic going as deep as it could go up my core. It feels weird and disgusting, but I never resisted once.^

It was just then that Salamander realized why Undine was growling earlier. Undine grabbed Salamander, ^Now, feel this. If we took the heat off my water and shoved it inside you we can both regenerate your power and create ice.^

"AH! Stop pushing your magic inside my core!^ Salamander growled, but Undine shoved even more magic inside her. ^Listen! Look, he's been fighting with you for a while but it's like you

never fought at all.^

As the two argued, Arad was still clashing with Gamond outside, barely dodging her violent swings. ^You two, I know you don't like each other that much, but can you just work together for a while?^ He could still use Undine's magic, but Salamander's fire was unusable. ^Fine! I've seen enough! Arad Orion, use me however you want. I'll even work with this stupid

fairy!^

It was just then that Arad could feel it, the two spirits inside him finally resonating together. The fire and water spirits were opposite to each other like the wind and earth spirits and the two never get long, but for the first time, they cooperate.

The relation between the four great spirits was quite simple to understand, the water and earth spirits get along together while the fire and wind spirits are just as close. Fire hates water, and earth hates the wind. Water and wind are indifferent to each other just as is fire and

earth.

Even after taming two arrogant spirit queens, Arad was still shocked and amazed, unable to believe the Gamond he was facing was just in her human form, which meant she was locked to only using a quarter of her true power.
