Ruler's Awakening: Inheritor of the SSS-Rank Dimensional Talent

Chapter 121 The Leader of Sky Sword 14th

Chapter 121 The Leader of Sky Sword 14th

Mona invited Miki to talk in the backyard; Miki didn't mind. Karen and Sara sat in the front yard at a circular table with three wooden chairs beside it.

Arthur, Karen, and Sara sat together. There was a definite reason why they had gathered. It was because the young man had come with the unfamiliar woman, Miki. Karen was the most curious as she was the first to know that Miki was a Kitsune.

The man explained the situation to them properly. Arthur said that Miki was Thalenia's friend, his Mythology Race servant.

He also shared that the two opened fire on each other due to a slight misunderstanding. However, the situation turned favorable after Miki admitted that Arthur was different from other humans.

"Is that so? I think she's a bad person. The mythological and human races cannot come to terms easily," Karen said.

"I agree, especially the mythological race. They find it hard to accept the fact that humans rule the Dark Pillar Tower," Sara replied.

"Then, what will you do to her?" asked Karen, curious.

Arthur was silent for a moment. Miki's response began to turn different when she heard that Arthur and Thalenia were planning to climb to the 17th floor to visit the Sylph Forest. Maybe there was some reason why Miki wanted to join Arthur.

"I don't know. Still, I can't let her go. If I sent her away, I'm afraid the pending battle would be repeated," Arthur said.

"The key to your relationship with Miki is Thalenia. You must take good care of her, no matter what it takes," Sara replied. Arthur cleared his throat in reply.

"I understand."

Just as they were talking, a man appeared from the building corridor. He came with a uniform suit attached to his body, enough to make his appearance dignified.

Two women wearing the same uniform accompanied him on the right and left. Sara and Karen responded by standing straight from their seats, confusing Arthur.

After looking closely at the man's face, Arthur noticed that he was Nathan, the 14th Sky Sword's leader. As a —temporary— member of Sky Sword, Arthur had to show his respect.

"You must be that guy named Arthur, right? Sara told me a lot about you," Nathan replied, his voice soft but firm, his hand continuing to pat Arthur's right shoulder lightly.

"She often mentions that you're the strongest mage she's ever met. I don't know whether what she says is true," Nathan replied.

That made Arthur glance briefly to the side. Sara's face blushed as she tried to avert Arthur's gaze. Karen smiled broadly, then laughed at Sara's funny reaction.

Nathan responded the same way; he clearly said that he was curious about Sara's true words.

"Did you just challenge me to a fight, Captain Nathan?" asked Arthur.

"Right, if you don't mind."

Arthur was left speechless momentarily, his head wondering what could happen. Surprisingly, Sara took Arthur's hand, a thoughtful face and a hopeful look on the woman's face.

'Looks like she has high hopes for me,' Arthur explained.

"Alright. We're gonna spar, Captain Nathan."

"Good, that's the answer I wanted to hear. We'll do it tomorrow morning. You can get a full night's rest, Arthur."

Having talked to them enough, Nathan left accompanied by his two female aides. The situation had turned casual again; Sara, Karen, and Arthur were talking at the table on the front lawn of the guest house.

Sara told Arthur about Nathan's powers. She heard some Sky Sword members say their leader's power was manipulating energy.

"What's that?"

"Simply put, you can change or shape original energy into other ones. For example, I use the element of light, but because of my talent, I can change it into the fire element, even when the spell is activated," Sara said.

'That's unique and quite troublesome. If he can change elemental powers at will, can his sub-talent change the concentration of energy particles?' Arthur asked.

Even so, Arthur did not feel daunted. In fact, with this battle, Arthur was even more eager to show himself.

Karen offered to be Arthur's training partner, even though she knew she would be useless to him.

Mona called out to them from the kitchen, saying dinner was ready. Without delay, the trio stepped inside and ate Mona's dinner with Miki by their side.

As time passed, it became eerily quiet in the place. Miki had gone to bed with Mona while Karen was with Sara. Arthur was elsewhere, still managing his individual system.

Arthur saw that his MP was less than 50000, which was very vulnerable, considering he could not defend himself using his magic power.

He took 5 of the EXP Elixir level 3, then drank them one after another.

'With this amount of MP, I can defend myself, even make three soul servants come and protect me,' Arthur explained.

There was a reason why Arthur did not recover all of his MP besides the limited supply of MP Elixir; Thalenia's deactivated time ended tomorrow.

It would be better for him to wait for Thalenia to wake up and regain the MP and HP buff.

"I have to supply my MP to half of my full capacity for tomorrow's practice," Arthur replied.

When Arthur was about to add more MP, his body sensed his sensitivity to energy fluctuations. It was not a passive energy fluctuation but an active one.

Passive magic fluctuations were moments when the body emitted its aura in small but faint booms. This moment occurs when the person is resting.

Active magic fluctuations are when the body emits a normal amount of aura, indicating that the person is actively moving and not resting.

Arthur sensed active magic fluctuations from outside the guest house. He got up from his seat on the bed and stepped closer to the door.

He tried to open a small gap in the door and saw a woman in sleeping pajamas coming into the house; Arthur knew her look at a glance.

'Isn't she Nathan's aide? What is she doing here?' Arthur asked, curious.

The woman was seen moving slowly towards Arthur's room. Arthur quickly returned to the bed and sat cross-legged, his eyes closed, behaving like he didn't know anything.

"Arthur? Are you there?" the woman asked Nathan's aide.

Arthur opened his eyes and looked at her flatly, not surprised —to maintain his image. Arthur simply asked her why she had come to his place in the dead of night.

"I have a wish for you, Arthur."

"Please surrender to Captain Nathan tomorrow," the woman pleaded, surprising Arthur.

"Surrender?"

"We don't want to see Captain Nathan lose before the rest of his men."

"If you do, I'll give you a gift," the woman said.

She shamelessly undid the top three buttons of her sleeping pajamas, revealing her firm, round breasts with nothing but sleeping pajamas. Arthur sighed, knowing this was bound to happen.

"I'll treat you if you want," the woman said, her face turning bright red.

"Do you want me to chop off your fucking nasty tits?!" snapped Aerith, sending fluctuations of maroon magic throughout the room.

Arthur shook his head as he realized Aerith was watching him. Now, the situation was about to get truly awkward this time.

'She's fucking brave!'
