Reincarnation of the Strongest Healer

Chapter 426 Extra Set

Chapter 426 Extra Set

Upon the realization that the whole meeting had been livestreaming the whole time, Soulstrider's face turned ashen white.

'Doesn't that mean everyone saw how I got humiliated?' Soulstrider felt like 10 years of his lifespan had been snatched away.

Emberwolf wasn't faring well either, especially after his remarks resulted in his complete silence and humiliation.

While they were worried about their reputation, Blake and the others were thinking something else.

'No wonder why Guild Leader Lin Feng was discreet and beating around the bushes.' Blake chuckled, having realized he was used for the drama.

This whole meeting was merely a farce, with the real goal of putting a strong demonstration to those who were enemies of Xu Feng, as well as their loss of emotions when exposed to top-tier items.

"The Vanguard guild is really gutsy." Iceheart of the Phoenix Guild commented coolly.

"I don't think it's a big deal," Sunblade from the Starlight Guild mused.

"The viewers would know who we are in closed-door and I have nothing to hide." He added, stood up, and proceeded to excuse himself now that the host had left.

"We were informed of a livestream occurring, so there's nothing to be surprised about." The mysterious DarkSage patted his sleeves and exited as well.

Soon, the others stood up and exited, with none really bothered by the fact that they were being streamed on secretly. Or more specifically, they wouldn't make a scene since they knew viewers were still watching it.

A few seconds later, the room had only Blake, Gentle Wind, Autumn Breeze, and surprisingly Soulstrider aside from OneManMedia who still had to clean up some stuff.

"Huh, why are you all still here?" OneManMedia was dumbfounded.

"I stayed behind because your Guild Leader told us to." Gentle Wind flatly replied, purposely revealing this to the viewers.

"I'm staying because I wish to discuss a few matters with Guild Leader Gentle Wind on behalf of my guild leader," Blake responded, revealing his intention.

Nodding, OneManMedia narrowed his eyes at Soulstrider. "And what about you?"

Soulstrider pursed his lips and pointed at him, "Can you turn off your stream?"

It became evident that he had something private to talk about and did not wish for anyone else to hear it.

"You don't get to make the decision." OneManMedia sneered and rolled his eyes. As the streamer, he would be damned if he just turned off the stream just because someone told him to.

The only person who could command him to stop was none other than his guild leader. Otherwise, the discretion was left to him to make.

Speechless, Soulstrider wondered how long it had been since someone dared to use such a tone toward him?

Oh right, he remembered. It was when their affiliated Reaver Guild decided to provoke and offend a mysterious entity for no damn reason.

'Fuck the Reaver Guild and fuck their Young Master Gao Zhong. That piece of shit didn't even drink enough milk to be in such a position.' Soulstrider wanted nothing more than to spit at Gao Zhong repeatedly for the humiliation today.

Sometime later, Gentle Wind and Blake walked off to another corner to begin their discussion.

Out of respect for Gentle Wind, OneManMedia chose not to stream their conversation and instead went to Autumn Breeze.

"So Autumn Breeze, may I ask what you think of today's Elemental Warrior Set?" OneManMedia asked nicely. His attitude was made clear for Soulstrider to know that he was the same as his guild leader.

Respectful to allies but a middle finger to their enemies.

"Sigh, don't even talk to me about it." Unfazed by the tension, Autumn Breeze shook her head in disappointment. "Your Guild Leader is really hateful to use the public to reject my request to buy one for myself."

"Hehe, you don't have to frown too much." OneManMedai suddenly giggled and retrieved an Elemental Warrior Set, dumbfounding her and Soulstrider.

"The Guild Leader gave me a newly produced one and the authority to give it to anyone I want."

"How does your Guild Leader have the luxury to just hand you a set like that?" Autumn Breeze's eyes widened in disbelief. She had assumed an Elemental Warrior Set would be incredibly difficult to acquire, yet here was another one right before her, leaving her truly stunned.

"Oh, it seems like you still haven't realized one thing." Realization dawned upon OneManMedia when he heard her question.

"The Set is not bought by any NPCs, but produced by us through the Vanguard Blacksmith located at Star Falls City." He continued, revealing this critical information to her and the viewers watching.

'Heh, Guild Leader wanted the population of Star Falls City to reach at least 3,000,000 people. What better attraction could there be aside from this?' OneManMedia laughed inwardly.

The task was originally difficult, but once informed by Xu Feng regarding the Elemental Warrior Set. As a reporter, his instinct easily kicked in.

Sure enough, the comment section began flooding with questions such as how one could purchase the set and what exactly the Vanguard Blacksmith was?

Amidst the commotion, Soulstrider, who had mustered up his courage, stepped forward and asked, "Mister OneManMedia, is it possible to give the set to me?"

And before OneManMedia could reject him, Soulstrider continued, "Earlier you said your guild leader gave you full authority to give it to anyone you want but didn't mention it's not allowed for us."

Stupefied, OneManMedia was caught off-guard this time. Indeed, Xu Feng had given him such discretion mainly for two things. It was a trust to him, but also a test to see his decision.

Knitting his brows, OneManMedia quickly apologized to the viewers as he stopped the streaming momentarily. Once the stream stopped regardless of the viewers' reactions, his expression turned solemn.

"What could you offer in return for the Set, Soulstrider?" OneManMedia questioned solemnly.

"Eh, you're really thinking of giving it to him?" Astonished, Autumn Breeze wondered if OneManMedia had gone insane for even thinking of trading it.

'Wouldn't Lin Feng punish you severely for it?' She thought to herself.
