Primordial Chaos Dragon Tower: Harem System

Chapter 92 Green Gate Bazaar

Chapter 92 Green Gate Bazaar

"The last time I saw you two, you were a Level 4 Root Master and a Level 9 Root Master. When did you ladies become this powerful?" Saintess Selene asked as they sat in Uncle Drew's carriage and began heading to the city for their shopping.

She was dumbfounded when she saw Unity and Lilian's cultivation bases. Unity was now a Level 7 Root Master, and Lilian a Level 4 Root Grandmaster—and that was less than a month ago.

"You know what, I don't want to know. This monster here has already broken the rules of cultivation." She just shook her head and went back to playing with Li Hua, who was sticking to her like glue.

Li Hua was shocked when she saw Unity and Lilian join them for the outing. It was her first time seeing them, but after Kent introduced them, she instantly accepted them.

Inwardly, though, she was very happy that two more beautiful ladies had joined her inner circle. This meant she had more avenues to extort money from.

Her love for money started to soar.

Saintess Selene's mind was in turmoil. The first time she met Kent, he was at the Root Blossom stage, yet somehow, in less than a month, he broke through to the Root Ascendant stage, and then he entered the Root Master stage and the Level 7 stage too.

Comparing him to the two ladies seemed like a stupid thing to do. But since her cultivation base was higher, she could tell the foundation the two ladies now had was several times firmer than when she met them a few weeks ago.

'Just what is he feeding them?' She focused her attention on Kent, who was sitting with Uncle Drew as they entered the city.

'Whatever you are feeding them, I will find out soon enough,' she said inwardly.

Meanwhile, Kent, who was being plotted against by his beautiful master, began acquiring admirers as they entered the city with the carriage this time.

"Uncle Drew, why aren't you parking like you used to?" Kent asked.

"I have obtained my license, so I can now move through the city with my carriage. The young master doesn't have to worry about walking in these busy streets," Uncle Drew replied with a smug smile.

"Congratulations, I guess," Kent said with a smile, already contemplating whether to add him to the servant tower.

'I will learn more about him later before adding him to the tower,' he thought.

"Then where are we going? I only said I want to go to the best place to buy cultivation resources," Kent asked as they moved through the busy streets, where other carriages could also be seen moving.

"We are going to the Green Gate Bazaar. Aside from a major auction, the Green Gate Bazaar is the best place to buy anything you want.

It's the best place, from alchemy equipment to weapons, skill books, and whatnot. However, it's also a very expensive place to shop from, but since the young master wants the best, I picked it."

"I see. Thank you. Tell me when we get there," Kent said before entering the carriage room.

Thirty minutes later, they arrived in front of a tall tower that seemed to have seven levels, crowned with a colossal green gate. One glance was enough to tell you it was the Green Gate Bazaar.

"Young Master, we are here," Uncle Drew said, stopping in front of the Bazaar building.

Kent and the ladies alighted. When his eyes landed on the green gate, he appraised it with his new and improved Enchanted Eyes.

[Green Gate Bazaar]

-- The Green Gate Bazaar is one of the main hubs for buying and selling rare goods and services. Inside the bazaar are various stores belonging to some of the finest businesses in the kingdom.

-- It has seven floors, each increasing the grade of items available for purchase. The first three floors offer Earth-grade items, the fourth to sixth floors feature Heaven-grade treasures, and the final floor holds Legendary-grade items.

-- Only Spirit Stones can be used here, and anyone caught cheating will be banned for 100 years or, in some cases, permanently.

-- All items purchased are non-refundable.

-- You don't need qualifications to enter any floor. All you have to do is pay the appropriate amount, and you will be teleported inside.

"This place looks better than I had hoped," Kent muttered, already eyeing the top floor.

"Can we really buy from here? I heard things here are very expensive," Lilian said, frowning as she gazed at the towering structure.

"Don't worry about that. You should focus on the skills and techniques you'll need. As for the money, leave that to me." Kent turned and looked at the ladies accompanying him.

"All of you should only worry about what to buy. I'll pay, even if it costs a million Spirit Stones," he smirked. "Even though I dislike bragging, I am very rich."

As if to prove his point to the ladies, who were giving him skeptical looks, Kent retrieved 50,000 Spirit Stones and handed them to Uncle Drew.

"You can go look around and buy whatever you want." Uncle Drew accepted the stones with a pleased smile.

"Let's go." Before the ladies could protest, Kent beckoned them to follow him inside. Li Hua glanced at Uncle Drew, eyeing the Spirit Stones in his hand for a few seconds before turning away.

Her attention shifted from the group of ladies to Kent. Soon, she resolved that she would secure a place as his treasurer. After all, anyone who could casually hand over that many Spirit Stones to a mere carriage driver must possess extraordinary wealth.

'Grandma, look, I just found a rich brother. You can rest well now,' Li Hua said inwardly as she held onto Saintess Selene's hand.

"Welcome to the Green Gate Bazaar," a guard at the entrance announced as Kent's group arrived before the grand gates.

"Please, we would like to go to the last floor," Kent said confidently.

Unity, Lilian, and Saintess Selene gave him skeptical looks. While Saintess Selene may hold a high rank, her authority meant nothing here. The bazaar was strictly for business, and everyone had to pay.

The guard gave Kent an appraising look as if trying to determine whether he was serious or simply wasting his time. After a few moments, he decided to state the cost.

"That will be 250,000 Spirit Stones. Each of you is required to pay 50,000," the guard said.

"Here you go," Kent said, handing over a pouch filled with Spirit Stones, leaving the guard dumbfounded. Normally, only the wealthy and influential dared to enter the top floor, and even then, it was rare for more than one person to pay such an exorbitant fee.

But Kent had just paid for five people without so much as batting an eye. If that wasn't shocking enough, the casual manner in which he did it certainly was.

While the three ladies wore expressions of astonishment, Li Hua moved closer to Kent and tugged at his sleeve.

"Big brother, after we return, I have some business ideas I'd like to discuss with you," Li Hua said, her voice sweet and innocent.

Kent nodded, and Li Hua smiled, shaking her head inwardly.

"We've paid. Can we go now?" Kent snapped his fingers, jolting the guard from his stupor.

The guard nodded quickly and placed a card on a small platform. A spell circle appeared beneath the group, and within moments, they vanished, reappearing on the seventh floor where the finest treasures awaited.
