Yao Ran heard the sounds and woke up in one of the second-floor bedrooms. She turned around and yawned sleepily. Her slight movements and the sounds outside also woke up Long Yu.

After planting another kiss on her lips, Long Yu got out of bed and put on his clothes. He checked the electric heater battery, noting it was half full, then covered Yao Ran with a thick blanket before leaving the bedroom.

Downstairs, Long Yu saw that Shi Xuan had already gone out to open the gate. He headed to the kitchen to prepare some drinks. When Long Yu returned to the sitting room with a cup of hot coffee, he noticed Yuan Rihui following closely behind Shi Xuan.

Seeing Yuan Rihui's disheveled appearance and bluish lips, Long Yu handed him the cup of hot coffee and asked, "Brother Yuan, are you alright?"

Accepting the hot coffee, Yuan Rihui took a seat on the couch and sipped the drink. As warmth spread through his body, he nodded and said, "I'm just a little cold. Thank you for the coffee, Brother Long."

After he said that, Long Yu nodded and returned to the kitchen to prepare two more cups of coffee.

Sitting on a single couch, Shi Xuan asked, "Brother Yuan, is there something important you need to tell us? It must be serious for you to come out in this situation."

The two of them then waited for Long Yu to return with two more cups of coffee.

As he finished speaking, a few gunshots echoed outside. The three men exchanged glances and fell into silence. A few seconds later, another round of gunshots and sirens can be heard from the outside. This time, it came from farther away.

Long Yu picked up the list and scanned it. Most of the items on the list were food, medicine, and water. After checking the list, he said, "We still have some in stock, but you will need to discuss pricing with Ran Ran."

The three men turned toward the door simultaneously upon hearing her voice.

Smiling at her, Yuan Rihui said, "Miss Yao, you came at the perfect time. Please come and take a look at the order list."

Sitting beside Long Yu, Yao Ran took the order list from Long Yu and reviewed it. After a moment, she raised an eyebrow and looked at Yuan Rihui.

"Brother Yuan, you are quite the businessman. How did you convince them to sell themselves to you?" she asked, her tone tinged with amusement.

Yuan Rihui laughed awkwardly at her words. "Miss Yao, please don't misunderstand. I only recruited them into our team, not made them sell themselves."

Yao Ran placed the list back on the table and asked, "So, when do you plan to deliver these supplies?"

Yao Ran nodded. "Sure."
