Chapter 4235 New Abode
When I woke up the next day, I didn't waste even a second on the bed.
I got up and freshened up before eating.
I don't want to practice Garsonath Transformation, but I have not missed a single session in the past year, and I don't want to miss it until I have no choice.
Once I finished. I force myself to rest.
Only when I felt good enough that I went inside my core.
My clones aren't in the same place I had left them last night, but they have done tremendous work.
All the new formations had been carved, and now work is being done on modifying the existing formations.
Which is a complicated job.
We have studied them and created the modified formation. Now, we only have to carve them. Feels easy enough, but far from it.
I walked to my station, and a piece appeared in front of me.
I magnified it before picking up the tools and bringing formation in front of me.
I know the formation, but I decided to double-check before starting.
The first thing I did was to erase the runes without triggering the formation. My clone had spent months on that.
There is also a bench where I am working. It suppresses any triggering.
Which is giving me the power to change the runes.
I needed to work fast but not make any mistakes. Which is hard, considering I need to erase and draw thousands of runes.
It took me some time, but I had finished the first piece and moved to the second after a minute of rest.
I continued on piece after piece. It is dangerous, but exciting. I wish that I didn't have to work so hard to advance. If I hadn't, I would have given more time and effort to my trades.
When I unite with my family, I will do that.
Before I knew it, it was evening, and I was still working, but I was close.
In a few hours, we will be finished with it. Then we will fit it into the abode.
Even after all the tests we have done. There is not 100% confidence that it will work as we had intended. There is only 70%.
I would have had more confidence if I had forged the Orex Cube.
While I had studied every inch of this Orex Cube.
There are still a few parts that I wasn't able to understand fully, but the experiments showed us that they wouldn't create problems.
I studied the data and know they shouldn't create a problem, but I can not say it with complete certainty.
I will only be able to say that after fixing the cube in the abode.
I pushed those thoughts away and focused on the piece in front of me. It is the biggest piece I have worked on and has a complex formation.
I need to focus on it completely.
I should have given this to my clone. Their emotionless mind is better for these sorts of things, but I wanted the challenge.
It took an effort, but I was able to finish it.
As I did, I sat down tiredly. There are a few pieces remaining, but they are easy, and I am letting my clones handle them.
It didn't take them long, and soon, they were finished.
We have done the hard work, and it's time to see whether it will pay off or not.
"Assemble," I command.
Immediately, the table reacted and began to put parts together under the protective shield. I need to be careful; it could make things bad if it exploded.
It took seconds to assemble thousands of parts back into the cube.
I looked at it, and it looked no different than the Orex cube before. It is not different physically, as I had only changed the rules that had become invisible.
As it assembled. I tapped a few buttons on the worktable. Immediately scans before appearing in front of me.
I need to look, if it is ready before I can go further.
Hours and a half passed, and I was finally satisfied. I am still a little scared, but I need to do it.
"Connect it to the abode," I commanded.
A moment later. The cube moved an odd blue stone rectangle.
The cube landed above it, and the control of the table disappeared.
For a few seconds, nothing happened before finally, the cube began to slide inside the stone rectangle till it fully disappeared inside.
As it did, the change occurred in the stone rectangle.
It begins to shine before turning semi-liquid and starts bubbling up.
Hun!
The reaction surprised me and made me worried for a moment before I looked at the charts.
It is not instability as I had expected. It is just a change.
It would have been much less unpredictable. If I hadn't used forbidden power, but I needed to. It wouldn't be as good as I want it to be without it.
Minutes passed before, and finally, it calmed down.
It had also changed a lot. It is now a perfect cube of about fist size.
Still stone, but it is beautiful light blue.
I looked at the charts before taking it in my hand and placing it on the ground.
A moment later, shone gently and formed a blue light gate. It is almost instantly.
"The speed is good, I thought.
It needs to be good, for it helps me hide at a moment's notice.
I looked at the light gate before entering the abode.
I appeared by the lake, which is still the same size, and so is the house. I could make
the space over ten times bigger than it, but I do not need to.
The small size suits me well. When I feel the need for bigger sizes, I will only need to tap a few buttons, and within a minute, I will have a bigger space.
I looked around before walking into the house through the bridge.
I checked everything, every function. It took me a few hours, and when I finished,
there was a smile on my face.
It is worth the risks I took.
