Chapter 59 The Caller

Cindy shivered as Ken approached her. His gaze was fixed and fearsome, while she trembled in fear.

The way he had just destroyed those men that were two times his size, wasn't something that one could see everyday.

In her thoughts, 'What should I do? What should I do?…' She began to think of how she could get out of this situation she had put herself into.

She thought of telling him that both men tricked her into doing it. Although that wasn't an option since Estela was here.

She also thought of saying that she had mental illness that caused her to do so. The. again, that could easily be exposed if they took her to the clinic and checked her.

A lot of scenarios displayed in her thoughts, but one by one there was always something that could counter them.

Just in that split second that Ken was walking towards her, she thought about all these. However, it was too late to come up with anything as Ken had already reached her.

He began to raise his right hand, although before anything could happen. And even before Cindy could speak up.

"Big Brother…!" Estela shouted.

Ken immediately paused, as his hand froze in the air. Both Ken and Cindy turned and stared at her.

"Let's go home…" She said, as she dragged his hand.

Ken's expression changed back to normal as he felt the cold hand of Estela.

He smiled and placed his other hand down, and then headed for the exit of the alley.

As they reached outside, people had already gathered to witness what was going on. The two ladies that were with Cindy had now come back to meet her, while they were shocked about what they saw.

At this moment, the siren of the police could be heard as the head for the school.

While Ken and Estela were about to leave,

"Wait…!" Cindy exclaimed.

"What are you doing Cindy…?" One of the ladies asked. "…leave her alone you have done enough." The other proclaimed.

Ken and Estela turned and stared at her with a cold expression, as they say their expression of fear, confusion and sincerity in her eyes.

However that meant nothing as both Ken and Estela turned their backs away from her and left.

Upon seeing this, Cindy broke down in fear as she stared at her hands.

"What is wrong Cindy…?" One of the girls asked, "Get up fast, the police will soon arrive." The other one uttered.

Meanwhile, Cindy wasn't listening to them. Then she was caught up in her thoughts, as she uttered without even knowing she said something.

Ken and Estela arrived at their house shortly after leaving the school.

The twins were so happy to see her, as they hugged her the moment she entered inside. It was already dark, but they weren't scared the slightest.

It was said that there was a reason. Although they reason was never revealed. It seemed like twins that think of abilities within them, making them seem like they could conquer all when they are together.

"Where have you been…I was worried" Nicole asked Estela, as she raised her head from the hug.

"Why is your face so red…?" Nicolas asked.

"Come on … Let her go and rest guys. She had a very long day." Ken said for them as he took them away from Estela.

After all that, Estela freshed up and went to the kitchen to prepare a meal for them.

She thought about asking Ken how he was able to defeat those men, but she didn't.

She decided to keep it to herself, since it didn't matter. Ken was able to protect her, and that was all that was all that mattered.

Ken thought who the caller could be and so he stood up to get his phone. As soon as he entered his room and picked up the phone, he saw it was an unknown number and after he picked, he said the voice.
