Chapter 320: The Gates of Tartaros? Just Another Fairy Tail Branch
"Jackal, that idiot, got defeated so quickly?! He's such a disgrace to Tartaros..."
"Whatever! It doesn't matter. As long as I'm here, I can complete the mission to annihilate the Council..."
"Hey! You there, the one that looks like a mummy, I'm Torafuzar Ethel from Tartaros, and I'm here to kill all of you!"
"Haha, but if you beg for mercy, I might give you a quick death..."
A huge demon with a green body sneered upon sensing his comrade's defeat. He seemed indifferent to the death of his comrade, or perhaps he didn't consider it a real death.
"Fall!"
Before Torafuzar Ethel could finish his threats, Bluenote, still wrapped in bandages like a mummy after almost a month of recovery, attacked. Massive gravity crushed Torafuzar to the ground...
"What is this..."
Torafuzar's expression changed. He hadn't expected the mummy-like guy to have such immense magic power.
"Kneel before me, you ugly creature..."
Bluenote looked at Torafuzar, who was now lying on the ground, with disdain. Following Precht for a while, Bluenote knew the truth about Tartaros, the dark guild composed of demons created by Zeref. These demons were nothing more than Zeref's failed experiments.
Bluenote couldn't understand how these failures, stuck in place for centuries, dared to mock mages like them who continuously grew stronger through training.
"Haha, you think this gravity can hold me?"
Torafuzar struggled and, using all his strength, finally stood up from the ground.
"What?!"
Bluenote was surprised. In his eyes, Torafuzar should have been unable to resist his gravity.
"Face the judgment of the Seven Stars!"
As Torafuzar stood, a clear voice echoed. Suddenly, countless golden swords rained down from the sky, piercing Torafuzar and turning him into a sieve.
Despite resisting Bluenote's gravity magic, Torafuzar was utterly helpless against celestial magic. This made Bluenote frown in thought.
"Hmm?"
Bluenote turned towards the source of the voice and saw a blue-haired boy emitting a golden glow standing beside him.
"Are you okay? Go take shelter, leave this to me!"
The boy, Jellal, smiled kindly at Bluenote.
"Mind your own business!"
Bluenote frowned and coldly rebuked Jellal before heading towards the Magic Council chairman's office. He sensed Precht's magic there and intended to ask what was happening.
"Eh?!"
Jellal was taken aback. He had never encountered someone so ungrateful when he was just trying to help.
"Precht, were those two pests that attacked your pets?"
"They smell just like you—stench and all~"
In the chairman's office, Warrod frowned at the destruction caused by Precht's magic and smiled at him.
"Warrod, are you blind or just stupid to think I'd keep such ugly pets..."
"Those two were demons from Tartaros. Go inform Fairy Tail that the gates of Tartaros have opened. Zeref's demons will definitely take action next, potentially threatening the entire world."
Precht stood beside Warrod, his brows furrowed. Whenever Tartaros made a move, it led to major events. To Precht, Tartaros demons were the only evil comparable to Fairy Tail.
No matter how evil Fairy Tail might be, they were still human. They couldn't match the evil of Tartaros demons...
"So, it's Tartaros... I see."
Warrod, hearing Precht's words, nodded seriously, knowing the threat posed by Zeref's demons.
Just one demon like Deliora had destroyed countless cities on the continent of Ishgar. The demons of Tartaros, Zeref's Library, were far more dangerous...
Meanwhile...
At the gates of Fairy Tail.
A black-haired girl with horns on her head and pale skin stood in front of the door marked FAIRY TAIL.
"So, this is the Fairy Tail guild that Kyouka wants me to destroy?"
This girl, Seilah, one of the demons created by Zeref, had a seductive figure hidden beneath her kimono. Her pale skin had black patterns that only added to her mysterious beauty.
Seilah reached out with her white hand and gently pushed the guild door open, ready to show Fairy Tail, the terror of demons.
"Bang!"
With a light push, the guild door opened.
"Bastard! That's my drink! Don't steal my stuff!"
"Your drink? Does it have your name on it? All this booze is free; get your own!"
Inside Fairy Tail, several mages were fighting over drinks. Their magical circles lit up the small room, and their attacks were deadly. They never fought for practice; each battle was serious.
"Natsu! Give me back my underwear!"
Gray, naked and wielding two ice swords, chased after Natsu, who had stolen his underwear.
"Hehe! No way~"
Natsu taunted Gray with his white underwear, his grin devilish.
"Laxus, I saw that job request first!"
Erza stood before Laxus, pointing at the job slip in his hand.
"Oh yeah? So what? You were too slow."
Laxus smirked, sitting arrogantly.
"Do you want a fight, bastard?"
Erza's brow twitched, feeling the need to remind Laxus of his place in the guild.
"Erza, just because you beat me a few times doesn't mean I'm afraid of you..."
Laxus frowned at Erza's challenge but didn't take the bait, preferring to avoid a beating before his mission.
"Ultear, as Ur's daughter, I think we should be alike. But you don't seem to fit in!"
"You should listen to Ur's advice. Only by stripping can we understand the true essence of ice."
Lyon, naked, preached to Ultear about the benefits of nudity.
Lyon had decided that if he couldn't stop stripping, he'd get everyone else to join him, making it a good habit. He started with his senior, Ultear.
"Pervert~"
Ultear blushed with anger and slapped Lyon, knocking him out.
Lyon's cup flew from his hand, hitting Laxus on the head, and spilling tea over him.
"Who threw that?!"
Laxus's eyes flashed with lightning.
"Uh-oh..."
Everyone quickly scattered, leaving Natsu in plain sight.
"Was it you, Natsu?"
"Prepare yourself!"
Laxus's body erupted with lightning, targeting Natsu.
"Haha, catch me if you can!"
Natsu dodged, and the lightning hit Uru, who was enjoying an ice cream.
"Boom!"
The lightning shattered furniture, and Uru was blasted away.
"Damn it..."
Laxus trembled, knowing things were about to get out of hand.
"You bastard..."
Uru stood up, glaring at Laxus.
"Uru, let me explain!"
Laxus sweated nervously.
"Go to hell and explain to the demons!"
Uru unleashed her ice magic.
"Ice Make: White Rose Garden!"
Laxus countered with his lightning.
"Thunder Dragon's Fang!"
Ice and lightning clashed, the impact spreading throughout the guild, sparking more fights.
"Who threw ice?!"
"Wanna fight?!"
"Bring it on!"
The guild descended into chaos, everyone brawling.
"Ah..."
Seilah, tasked with destroying Fairy Tail, stood stunned at the chaotic scene.
"Is this hell?"
Even as a demon, Seilah trembled at the madness before her.
"Is this mission correct? This guild will destroy itself with infighting. Do we need to intervene?"
Seilah bit her lip, watching the madness.
Her curse magic allowed her to command humans to kill each other, but she didn't even needed to use it. Fairy Tail was already self-destructing.
Suddenly, her communication crystal glowed.
"Kyouka..."
Seilah answered, nodding to the figure in the crystal.
"Seilah, have you reached Fairy Tail?"
"Oh, I see..."
"Well done, Seilah. You've already made them kill each other. Excellent..."
"Once they're all dead, return to the guild. I'm in Tartaros."
"Alright, I have other matters to attend to. The operation against the Council failed..."
Kyouka's smile faded as she saw the fighting mages through Seilah's crystal.
"No, actually..."
Seilah tried to explain, but Kyouka ended the call.
"Ah..."
Seilah sighed, unsure of what to do.
"You're not a Fairy Tail member, are you?"
A voice behind her made her tense.
"Crap! I've been discovered..."
She turned to see a handsome boy with reddish-brown hair smiling at her.
"I order you to join their fight!"
Seilah commanded the boy.
"What if I refuse?"
The boy, Evan, didn't move, smiling.
"What?!"
Seilah was shocked. Her curse magic should work on all humans.
"You look familiar..."
"Are you from Tartaros?"
Evan studied Seilah, recognizing her from Tartaros.
"Discovered?"
Seilah turned to run.
"Bind!"
Evan summoned binding chains, expertly tying Seilah.
"What is Tartaros planning?"
Evan smiled.
"Hmph! Foolish human, I won't tell you anything!"
Seilah glared at Evan, seeing him as more evil than a demon.
"You're not very cooperative~"
"Haha, I'll just destroy your guild master, END~"
Evan smirked, and Natsu appeared in his hand.
"Huh?"
Natsu looked confused.
"END? Don't joke. That kid is END?"
Seilah scoffed.
"Don't believe me? I'll call Zeref..."
Evan smiled, pulling out a communication crystal.
"Call Zeref?"
"You think a lowly human like you can contact the great Zeref?"
Seilah sneered, not believing Evan could reach Zeref.
But the crystal glowed, and a black-haired boy appeared.
"Evan? Need something?"
"Z-Z-Zeref..."
Seilah was stunned, recognizing the powerful presence of her creator.
"Zeref, your brother Natsu, END, is here. Want to see him?"
Evan asked.
"Uh, Natsu? No, not now..."
Zeref shook his head.
"Too bad..."
"So, how's the temple research?"
Evan asked.
"Still searching. Ankhseram's traces are everywhere, real and fake..."
Zeref frowned.
"Keep it up, I won't bother you."
Evan encouraged.
"Thanks~"
Zeref smiled, ending the call.
"Did you hear that?"
Evan put away the crystal and looked at Seilah.
Seilah's face was filled with shock. She had heard everything.
"Seilah, if END is your master, then your true master is neither your current leader nor Natsu, but this guy..."
Evan pointed at Makarov, who was drinking and flirting.
Everyone knew the three great dark guilds of Ishgar: Fairy Tail and its two branches, Grimoire Heart and Tartaros, and the Balam Alliance.
"So, where is Tartaros?"
Evan smiled, ready to close the gates of Tartaros for good.
