Destroying My Own World

Chapter 192: Borrow.

Chapter 192: Borrow.

Lei Wu Xian was staggering as he tried to run away from Aurea, and he was losing so much blood because she cut his arteries just for fun. He had tried everything and he made a huge mistake by fighting her in close combat. Not only was he dying, all the spirits that were given to him by the Jade Emperor had been devoured by her.

"Why are you running? Aren’t you here to give me that stupid divine punishment?" Aurea asked as she followed Lei from behind and kept her distance. "You ruined my fun, so you have to play with me more to compensate for the time I wasted," Aurea said.

"Stay away from me..." Lei said with his trembling voice to hold the pain and to reserve his stamina.

"I am. Look at the distance," Aurea chuckled as she kept following him. "I wonder if you can survive with that amount of blood that you’re losing right now. I don’t think you will be able to make it out alive without anyone’s help," Aurea pointed out. "Should I end your suffering," Aurea asked and unsheathed her sword which was enough to give Lei a chill down his spine.

Lei Wu Xian collapsed and he could no longer feel anything but pain and cold on her toes and fingers. He realized that he was dying for nothing, and the worst part was that he couldn’t do anything about it.

He had accepted his death, but then Aurea grabbed him and lifted him so she could see his expression. His vision was slowly fading away, and he could see the white teeth of Aurea grinning at him. He could hear her bone-chilling giggles, and he was prepared for what was about to hit him.

"It’s no fun to let you die now. I can see great potential within you, so I’ll let you live for another day," Aurea said and grabbed Lei’s face and used the spirits that she consumed and transformed them into a healing energy.

Lei’s wounds started to close and he could feel the warmth inside his body again. Before he could see what had happened, he was pushed to the wall and then his shoulders were pierced by swords. He started to scream and realized Aurea was trying to hang him on the wall with swords as payback for healing him.

"Now we are done," Aurea smirked and looked at the eight swords that were stabbed on Lei’s shoulders, palms, thighs, and feet. "This is a parting gift from me, and I hope someone will find you here. Until we meet again, Goodbye," Aurea walked away and waved her hand.

Lei grunted and groaned, but he couldn’t move his body because Aurea pierced the main muscles in his body.

(On the east of Beijing, Shenyang City)

Sun Wukong looked at the city and he saw nobody walking on the street, and all the cars were abandoned. He landed and looked around the street which made the city look so dead without anyone around.

"Who would have thought that we would see each other again," Lillith’s voice could be heard from the dark alley. She was hiding her presence and would hunt anyone who walked in the street.

Lillith’s voice brought bad memories to Sun Wukong, so he didn’t hesitate to swing his staff as he made it bigger. He hit his staff right into the dark alley, but he felt something soft that should be solid since he was supposed to hit the ground.

"You crushed them, poor thing," Lillith said as her voice came from behind Sun Wukong.

Sun Wukong turned around as he pulled and swung his staff toward Lillith. When he was about to hit Lillith, something fell from his staff and hit his face. A piece of flesh just hit his face with half of a face hanging on it, and that made him gag as he immediately wiped his face.

"Told you. You crushed them like a tomato and I think you have just killed half of them because of your attack," Lillith said as she sat on top of a car and crossed her legs.

Sun Wukong’s hands trembled because the face he had just killed innocent people with his weapon made him sick. No matter how strong a person was, if they never had killed a human before, they would be in shock.

"Looks like you got a replacement for your weapon. But anyway, since you’re not in the right mind to fight, I’ll let you be first," Lillith said as she stood up and looked in the distance. "I’m going to kill more people while I wait," Lillith continued and then bounced from one building to another without making a sound.

Sun Wukong snapped back to reality and he realized he missed his chance to stop Lillith. He immediately summoned his cloud and tried to find where she went to, and the gap between him and Lillith was only a few seconds, but dead bodies had scattered all over the street. He made a huge mistake and couldn’t forgive himself for letting her free like that.

After a few minutes of chasing and tracking the dead bodies, he finally found Lillith who was slitting a man’s throat so slowly. He didn’t hesitate to swing his staff at her, but she grabbed it with her left hand as she kept slitting the man’s throat.

"You’re ready to fight?" Lillith asked and then threw the head at Sun Wukong.

Sun Wukong dodged it and was unbothered by it anymore because his main focus was on Lillith. Although he was focusing on her, he couldn’t ignore the fact he couldn’t push her down with his staff and his strength. The staff should be weight a few tons at that moment, but the fact she was capable of holding it with her left hand made him feel uneasy.

"How? How can you hold my weapon like that!" Sun Wukong asked and put more weight on the staff which was enough to create cracks under Lillith’s feet.

"Is that really enough to surprise you? Would this surprise you as well?" Lillith asked and cut the staff in half with her dagger.

The moment the other half of the staff hit the ground, it cracked the road and collapsed. Sun Wukong was speechless as he watched his weapon deep in the ground, but this time he wasn’t worried. He immediately swung his staff at Lillith and it regained its size with no problem.

Lillith kept cutting the staff and realized that the staff could grow back like a living thing. It regenerated and the more she cut it, the sturdier it became like a bone, and she found it interesting and exciting.

Sun Wukong summoned four of his clones, and each one of them held the same staff as him. They all started attacking Lillith relentlessly and didn’t give her a chance to attack. He knew that he could win if he used everything he got from the beginning.

When he started to believe he could win, Lillith suddenly created her own clones after she killed all his clones. At that moment he realized that he wasn’t the one who could create a clone, but when he tried to bring in more clones, he realized he couldn’t use his power anymore.

"What’s the matter?" Lillith asked with a smirk. "Your power can’t be used anymore?" Lillith chuckled as she played with her daggers.

"What did you do?!" Sun Wukong asked as he slowly walked back to avoid Lillith and her clones.

"I’m just borrowing your power, that’s all. This does feel nice to share my thoughts with my clones, and I wonder if I should give it back to you or not," Lillith answered as she looked at her clones.

"That power isn’t yours! Give it back!" Sun Wukong shouted as he glared at Lillith.

Lillith kept smirking and then she listened to Sun Wukong’s request and gave back his power. Sun Wukong was surprised by that, and so he summoned his clones again, but when he gave them an order, none of them made a move. He was confused as to why his clones didn’t listen to his words.

"What’s the matter? Your clones won’t listen to your request?" Lillith asked as she scoffed.

Sun Wukong was confused and no matter how many times he gave an order to his clones, none of them listened to him.

"Let me try," Lillith said. "Beat him up" Lillith ordered the clones.

All the Sun Wukong’s clones immediately swung their stuff at him and relentlessly beat him up. He was surprised and it was hard for them to hold them off at the same time. Suddenly one of them managed to hit him right on the nape and made him collapse.

Lillith kicked Sun Wukong so he would be lying on his back rather than on his chest. She then looked down at him as the clones stood right behind her as if they were hers.

"Goodnight," Lillith waved her hand, and then one of the clones hit Sun Wukong right in the face with the back of the staff.
