Destroying My Own World

Chapter 178 Another visit.

Chapter 178 Another visit.

Sasha and the others safely landed back in Australia with the Redshield Guild. Everyone waited for the good news, the whole world was waiting, and so Lucifer apologized that it didn't go well. Everyone had expected that, and they had their hopes up which was a mistake.

"Anzel? Are you alright?" Danny asked when he saw Anzel staggered as he held his head.

"My head hurts like hell..." Anzel answered as he groaned in pain. "Ever since that fight, my body feels so weak and it only worsens," Anzel explained as he leaned on the wall and slowly slid down to the floor at the airport.

"I knew it, they were trying to kill us slowly," Luis said as he looked at the others.

"What about you, Ana? Do you feel anything strange inside your body?" Eun Soo asked as she tried her best to heal whatever was hurting Anzel.

Anastasia gently rubbed her stomach and she felt normal, but she was a bit anxious that something might happen to her. At that moment, she didn't feel anything, but later on that night, she had a fever that felt like she was being burned alive.

"No. The ring is the source of his problem. You have been wearing this for a whole week, and you acted strangely and rashly ever since," Sasha explained as she looked at the ring on her palm. "Whoever gave this ring to you, wanted to corrupt your mind and body. Right now you're getting the drawbacks," Sasha added and looked at Anzel.

"You believe in that bullshit? Seriously?" Danny asked and glared at Sasha.

Sasha stared into Danny's eyes, and for some reason, it terrified him because of the way she looked at him like someone who would kill him in his sleep.

"No, Miss Sasha isn't wrong," Anzel said as he kept groaning. "Although my head hurts like hell, it strangely feels lighter and clearer than before. I just need to get some rest," Anzel pointed out.

They all went back to the guild headquarters and were bombarded with questions from Guild League members. In front of the camera, Sasha became someone who looked like a reliable leader and someone who made the right decisions for everyone.

She pretended to show her anger and hatred toward the Rebirth Guild which pleased everyone. The truth was that she preferred to join Mykel, and Lucifer knew exactly what she wanted.

"Tell me, what did you tell him back there?" Lucifer asked as soon as everyone had left the meeting room.

"I haven't told him much thanks to Anzel and Anastasia who made a mess," Sasha answered. "I wonder if that was just a coincidence or was it you who started it because you were eavesdropping on my conversation with him and didn't want him to know," Sasha stared Lucifer in the eye who was approaching her.

Lucifer only chuckled as he sat next to her and put a cigarette in his mouth. His chuckle stopped and he became strangely quiet which made Sasha look at him weirdly.

"You had nothing to do with it, right?" Lucifer asked and glanced at Sasha with a cold gaze.

"Don't act like you don't know. You heard every word and thought of mine," Sasha said as she grabbed something from her pocket. "And to your answer, yes, I have nothing to do with it since I gave my words to help you corrupt Anzel and the others," Sasha answered and put the ring on the table in front of Lucifer.

Lucifer slowly reached his hand and grabbed the ring as he dragged his hand off the table and put the ring in his pocket. His face looked troubled, and it was a pleasure in Sasha's eyes.

Your journey continues on empire

"For them to suddenly interfere with my business even though they shouldn't have a reason to sabotage me," Lucifer said as he puffed the smoke. "I lost the only two toys that I just got," Lucifer continued.

"What do you mean they have no reason? They have all the reason to stop you," Sasha asked and looked at Lucifer with a confused look.

"Why would someone who wants to destroy Earth stop the thing that helps them to mess with humans?" Lucifer asked back and looked at Sasha. "Especially knowing Mykel, these things are trivial to him and he knows that it won't bother him at all and none of his business in the first place," Lucifer explained as he stood up and burned the butt of the cigarette into ashes.

"Then you don't know him that well," Sasha said as she watched Lucifer walk to the door. "You're no match for him," Sasha added.

"Perhaps," Lucifer smirked and then left the meeting room.

(In the heaven)

Uriel, Michael, Raphael, Azrael, Ramiel, Gabriel, and Cassiel were staring down at the tiny dot under their feet. That dot was Earth, and they could see every inch of the surface of Earth, and they watched Mykel and his team in the hall.

They watched Jeanne sabotage Lucifer's plan to corrupt the Disciples of The Lord. None of them were grateful for what she did, in fact, they were suspicious of her action.

"Why suddenly they helped us?" Michael asked with suspicion. "Did you ask something to him when you went down to Earth?" Michael looked at Uriel who was hanging on the tree branch as she hugged her own right knee.

"I did, and I thought he didn't want to do it because it was a favor rather than a request or an order," Uriel answered and she was surprised by it as well.

"You asked him a favor?" Azrael asked as she looked up at Uriel in a confused tone.

"There are things that The Lord wants me to keep them a secret. You don't want to know the truth," Uriel answered and looked down at the others. "I don't understand how the way he thinks. Why is it so complicated to understand him," Uriel mumbled as she stood up and kept her eyes on Mykel.

Hearing the answer, none of them questioned her anymore because it was The Lord's will. Uriel looked at them and wondered why they were so different than her, and then she realized that she was the one who was different from them.

"Where are you going?" Raphael asked with his eyebrows furrowed when he saw Uriel spread her wings and flapped them gently to let the breeze reach the root of her wings.

"Go back down there again. I have an unfinished business there," Uriel answered as she flapped her wings and was ready to leave. "The Lord has given me the permission to go down there whenever I want," Uriel pointed out and then flew away from heaven

It only took her a second to land on Earth, and she landed at the same spot as last time. She looked at Niagara Falls and looked at how it had been modified into something that could compete with what they had in heaven.

"A mere human has the knowledge of the heaven. How terrifying," Uriel said and looked at the altar at the bottom center of Niagara Falls.

"So it was you who came down here back then," Beldathiel said as she landed on the bridge with her bare feet.

Uriel turned around and looked at the beautiful gold feathered wings on Beldathiel's back. She couldn't help but admire them with a surprised expression.

"Yes, it was me," Uriel answered as she walked toward Beldathiel to touch her wings. "You must be one of the Demon Princesses, Beldathiel, daughter of Sloth in the book," Uriel said as she stood right in front of Beldathiel who was a third of her height.

"Yes, that's me," Beldathiel yawned and flapped her wings and folded them. "You came down here again for a reason, and seeing that you openly came here, you're here not to fight," Beldathiel said and looked up at Uriel with her lazy eyes.

Uriel slowly shrunk herself and made herself a bit taller than Beldathiel, and she couldn't stop staring at the gold wings.

"Yes. I came here to have some business with your creator, Mykel Alester," Uriel answered and touched the soft gold feathers of Beldathiel's wings without even asking permission first.

"He would be here any minute now. He said to guide you to the altar, so follow me," Beldathiel said and was unbothered by it.

"Hold on, can we talk somewhere else? The thing I want to talk about, I don't want anyone to hear," Uriel pointed out as she looked at Beldathiel.

"That won't be a problem. Amaryllis can deal with it and prevent anyone from listening, including your friends," Beldathiel answered with a smile.

They both went to the altar at the bottom center of Niagara Falls, and Beldathiel immediately laid down to sleep. She covered her body with her wings like a blanket and didn't even care about the feeling of the hands that kept rubbing her wings.

"It's amazing that she can sleep anywhere and whenever she wants," Uriel pointed out as soon as she felt Mykel's presence behind her. "She's worst than the real sloth, Belphegor," Uriel said as she chuckled.

"She's cute, isn't she?" Mykel asked as he walked past Uriel to sit at the table.

"Indeed. She's gorgeous," Uriel answered and nodded her head in agreement as she kept stroking and caressing Beldathiel's wings.
