Chapter 1552 Saving a Half Dead Senior Brother (3)

Chapter 1552 Saving a Half Dead Senior Brother (3)

Chapter 1552  Saving a Half Dead Senior Brother (3)

With the powerful cultivator and demon beast fighting directly in front of them, Qing Yi and Chen Hua had no way to leave the mountain range like they had originally been planning to do… And even worse, they could clearly hear the wandering cultivators behind them getting closer as they dug themselves out from the collapsed cave that the gate to the mystic realm was now located inside of.

Caught between a rock and a hard place, the two had no intention of staying behind to fight with the wandering cultivators that would undoubtedly be filled with killing intent towards them after what they had done, while also not wanting to charge forward into the deadly battlefield between the powerful cultivator and demon beast in front of them.

No matter what they did, it didn't seem like they had any way to get out of their current situation without risking their lives. Not to mention, even if they didn't try to sneak past the powerful cultivator and demon beast fighting with each other, the battle itself was slowly moving in their direction. Meaning that even if they decided to stay and fight the wandering cultivators to look for another path out of the mountain range, they would likely still end up getting caught up in the battle between the powerful cultivator and demon beast.

Even worse, they might end up catching the attention of the powerful demon beast when fighting with the wandering cultivators.

Although the two doubted that the powerful cultivator would care much about them given how weak they were, the demon beast might not think the same way and could directly target them to deal with any potential threats.

Being targeted by such a powerful demon beast with their current strength still ranging in the middle stages of the Domain Lord Realm, there was no way for them to escape safely without help from their master.

Unfortunately, neither of them had managed to get any protective talismans or other things along with them when they had left the sect, as their master was currently not in the sect.

In other words, they would likely end up dead if they ended up being targeted by the powerful demon beast fighting the powerful cultivator…

"You! How dare you just dump those demon beasts on us and run away, who do you think-"

Just as Qing Yi and Chun Hua were thinking about how to make it out of their current situation, one of the wandering cultivators managed to catch up with them filled with killing intent.

"T-t-that is-!?"

However, before he could do anything or launch an attack, he froze on the spot as he noticed the terrifying fight taking place not that far away from them. Understanding very well that attacking the two of them now would be nothing more than a death sentence if it ended up drawing the attention of the demon beast.

Not to mention, outside of being fearful of drawing the attention of the two fighting with each other, it was also clear that he feared attracting any more powerful demon beasts over.

After all, the mountain range was well known to house more than just a single powerful Soul Ascension Realm demon beast.

Even though he wasn't currently inside what could be considered the deepest and most dangerous part of the mountain range where Soul Ascension Realm demon beasts normally lived, he also understood that the fight in front of him would undoubtedly have drawn the attention of other Soul Ascension Realm demon beasts.

With that in mind, starting a fight could potentially end up similarly drawing the attention of these demon beasts who should already be paying attention to the situation in the area that he now found himself inside of.

Because of this, even though he wanted to rush forward to attack Qing Yi and Chun Hua, he still ended up holding himself back out of fear that doing so might end up attracting unwanted attention from nearby Soul Ascension Realm demon beasts.

Outside of that, another reason he didn't start a battle to the death also had to do with the fact that he and the rest of his companions had already managed to get their hands on all the spirit stones they had found without suffering any casualties during their escape from the mystic realm.

Of course, they were still filled with killing intent towards these two troublemakers, but not to the point where they would be risking their lives to exact revenge. Especially so considering that they had essentially just managed to get their hands on enough spirit stones to reignite their hopes of reaching the Soul Ascension Realm.

In the end, even when all the wandering cultivators had gathered and discovered the injured state of Chu Yang, whom they had originally feared, they still decided to keep a distance and not engage much to Qing Yi and Chun Hua's relive.

For the two of them, the most important thing was to find a way out of the current dangerous situation, as even if they no longer had to worry about the wandering cultivators for now, their inaction was more than enough for them to understand that the situation that they found themselves in was likely far more dangerous than they had originally thought.

This couldn't be blamed too much on the two of them, as they were still rather inexperienced compared to these wandering cultivators and had failed to consider their current location and the rest of the demon beasts that would have been drawn towards the battle taking place not too far away from them.

Although, being able to secretly listen in on the conversations between the wandering cultivators as they openly began discussing their situation and how to safely leave the mountain range, Chun Hua and Qing Yi soon enough realized the danger of their current situation.

"Huh? Where is this? W-what happened?"

Just as the two of them were feeling troubled over what to do and how to safely leave the mountain range, their senior brother slowly woke up with a somewhat bewildered expression on his face as he slowly took in what was happening around him.

"Senior Brother!" "Chu Yang!"

In response to their senior brother waking up suddenly, Qing Yi and Chun Hua was at first confused before realizing that he had most likely been stimulated by the chaotic situation taking place around him.

Even though he had only managed to sleep for a few hours inside the cloud while they had been preparing to leave the mystic realm, thanks to Chun Hua's help, he had at least managed to recover enough to move around a bit. Especially so now that he was outside the mystic realm, he could float with the help of his domain.

Of course, given that he was still in an injured state and had no strength left so to speak of, he could at most keep himself floating around at a speed comparable to a mortal walking around.

Not to mention, he had in a sense forcefully awakened due to sensing the danger around him and would soon end up falling unconscious again. Even then, his awakening was something that made both Qing Yi and Chun Hua overjoyed, as this senior brother was far more experienced than the two of them when it came to handling this kind of difficult situation.

"I see… Quite the deadly situation we find ourselves in. Although, there is a rather simple way for us to get out of this situation…"

And unsurprisingly, after hearing about the current state of things from Qing Yi and Chun Hua, Chu Yang didn't take long to grasp the danger of the situation and at the same time find a way for them to get out of their current situation.

That solution being…

"Let's just call master for help, I have a communication talisman with me that is able to reach him, he told me to use it whenever I find myself in a situation I can't handle on my own."

""…""

Calling their master for help, a rather unexpected solution to both Qing Yi and Chun Hua, as both of them had clearly been expecting something different from their senior brother.

"What? I'm not some omniscient being capable of guiding us through such a deadly situation with little to no time to prepare. Instead of that, isn't it better to just ask master for help?"

Feeling the gazes of his two fellow disciples, Chu Yang could not help frowning as he said this to the two of them. Clearly explaining that he had no idea how to get out of the current situation with relying on their master's help.

"Fine… I will contact master for help then…"

Unable to say anything in response, as they really had no idea how to get out of their current situation by themselves, Qing Yi ended up being the one to step forward and take the communication talisman from Chu Yang before the person in question gave her a somewhat triumphant smirk before fainting again. Clearly not wanting to be the person who had to contact their master and ask for help.

Not even giving her the time to ask him why he hadn't used this communication talisman to ask their master for help before they had shown up to save him.
