Many were stunned, with Ke Shuyi and his companion staring in disbelief.

Many looked on with envy at her having such a protective brother.
“It’s okay,” Pei Yu soothed Pei Yuner.
“What happened?”
The earlier disturbance had drawn the Super Martial Club’s attention. Zheng Xiaoyue, leading the club’s executives, arrived on the scene.
They were taken aback to find Pei Yuner in tears.
Zheng Xiaoyue had only left Pei Yuner briefly to eat, not expecting to return to her in distress, her head soaked in red wine—clearly, an incident had occurred.
?”Master Zheng has arrived.”
“He’s done for. He’s committed murder within the Super Martial Club.”

Ke Shuyi, who was nearby, hastily recounted the events.

“Yes, Master Zheng, he committed murder right here in the Super Martial Club. You must bring him to justice.”
Yet, Zheng Xiaoyue remained unmoved, while the others from the Super Martial Club looked on with faces pale with fear.
After a brief pause, Zheng Xiaoyue stepped forward and addressed Pei Yu, “Senior Pei, I am at fault here. I beg your forgiveness.”
“Just take care of my sister,” Pei Yu responded, disregarding Zheng Xiaoyue with an icy detachment.
He lifted his gaze, his pupils fierce and intimidating, like those of a wild animal, compelling others to avert their eyes.
With all eyes fixed on him, he slowly made his way toward Ke Shuyi.
Ke Shuyi was rooted to the spot, his body rigid with dread.
Truth be told, the moment he heard Zheng Xiaoyue address Pei Yu as ‘Senior’ and offer an apology, he had abandoned all hope.
Pei Yu was indeed a person of great influence.
