Yarin's POV:

I couldn't assume Azazel was patient just because of his 'tolerance'. This demon was highly arbitrary and didn't like people disobeying his orders. For example, Linda didn't want to leave just like that. Azazel might be smiling on the surface, but he was on the verge of losing his patience.

Linda knew nothing about this. She behaved like a little girl and acted coquettishly with her 'father', unwilling to leave no matter what.

She treated my mother as an imaginary enemy, an irreconcilable enemy. She would never retreat from the enemy and give up her 'father' to someone else.

But Azazel was starting to get impatient, so he pulled a long face and said coldly, "I thought you would respect me like a father, my child, but you have disappointed me. The magic of time is indeed great. It has changed you. You say you love me, but in your heart, you don't care about me and treat me as an old man."

Linda was terrified. She kneeled and humbly explained, "No, Father, I was wrong. I never thought of you that way. Please don't say that. I love you! I will never do something like this to you!"

"So why didn't you listen to me and leave? I was worried about you and was afraid you would have a conflict with your sister, but you ignored my kindness. You were so obedient and cute when you were younger.

"You know what? It's all my fault. I didn't consider that you've grown up and are no longer the little girl who threw herself into my arms. You've already grown up and have your power and subordinates. I shouldn't make you lose face in front of your subordinates. It's only right for you to resist me."

Linda let out a whimper like a puppy. Azazel's seemingly conceding words were like a mountain that pressed down on her, making her unable to raise her head.

"I'm sorry, I'm very sorry, Father, my master... I shouldn't have disobeyed you. Please take back these words. Please don't say that. My loyalty and love for you have never wavered. Please don't question me like this. It's all my fault. It's an idiot like me who has challenged your dignity..."

After saying that, she suddenly struggled to stand up and turned around to glare at her subordinates. A force tied them up like iron chains, hung them in the air, and then strangled their throats.

Looking at the suffocating and struggling appearance of the few of them, Linda screamed in a distorted voice, "It's all your fault! You're all bugs, rats, and blind dogs! How dare you slander me in front of my father? How dare you wear down my father's love for me! It's all because you idiots are dragging me down! You all deserve to die! Damn it!"

Even though they had obtained great power, they dared not resist Linda's crazy punishment. They could only beg their boss's forgiveness with red faces and pleading expressions.

I didn't think this was the first time Linda had gone crazy with her subordinates. She must have done many more terrible and cruel things than this to make her crazy subordinates turn into dogs with their tails between their legs and pee in front of her.

The torture did not last long because Azazel stood up and became the good guy. He just gently patted Linda's shoulder, and this crazy woman immediately calmed down meekly. All her madness disappeared.

"Father, I'm really sorry. I will punish these people severely...." she whispered, almost coquettishly.

Azazel raised his finger, and the invisible power that bound Linda's subordinates disappeared. They fell to the ground but did not dare to gasp. They immediately crawled to Azazel's feet and begged for mercy.

Azazel ignored them and said to Linda, "Good child, why are you so irritable? This is just a little nagging from an old man. There's no need to vent your anger on others."

Linda nodded and stammered like a child who had made a mistake, "Yes, yes, Father..." "Even if you want to act coquettishly with me, you are done with your tantrum, right? Then go; your sister will be here soon."

This time, Linda didn't have any intention of resisting. She just looked at Azazel and asked timidly, "When...When will you be back?"

"When the time comes, I'll go back to see you. Before that, continue what you were doing before, my child."

This kind of perfunctory response became a supreme praise in Linda's ears, as if Azaziz's casual mention was an acknowledgment of all the achievements she had done in the past.

She immediately promised Azazel that she would make the Lily of the Valley bigger. Although she had to change the organization and eliminate all the burdens, she promised Azazel that she would manage a stronger force in the human world.

Even from my perspective, Azazel wasn't interested in this at all. His impatience was about to reach its peak. This endless show was starting to bore him.

Linda left with her subordinates. As for the Lily of the Valley members who were still unconscious in various corners of the interaction station, she did not care at all. These 'consumables' were cannon fodder that could be thrown away after being used up.
