Ah! The Villains I Forced to Turn Evil Can Read My Mind

Chapter 138

Chapter 138

Song Yu didn’t have time to think. She scrambled into the car, practically rolling in!

She slammed the door shut and stared at Qiao Chuchu in shock. “Why is it you?!”

Qiao Chuchu floored the accelerator, breaking through the encirclement with Song Yu and her two subordinates in tow. “Of course it’s me. Who else did you think would come to save you?!”

“That’s not what I meant,” Song Yu said, gripping the car seat and leaning forward to look at Qiao Chuchu’s profile. “I mean, how do you even know how to drive? And so skillfully at that!”

What’s more, she had the guts to charge in alone to rescue them!

Qiao Chuchu scoffed, rolling her eyes dramatically. “I already told you I could. You’re the one who didn’t believe me!”

Song Yu was still in disbelief, staring at Qiao Chuchu’s soft, baby-faced profile. “But you look less intimidating than my dog! How could I have believed you? I’d need some next-level insight to see through your gentle exterior and recognize your badass soul!”

Qiao Chuchu raised an eyebrow. “Are you complimenting me or insulting me?”

Song Yu climbed into the passenger seat and buckled her seatbelt, urgency in her voice. “I’m complimenting you! You saved my life—why would I insult you?!”

Qiao Chuchu smirked and glanced at Song Yu. “There are three guns in the storage compartment. And a few sniper rifles in the trunk.”

Song Yu froze for a moment, then quickly opened the compartment.

Sure enough, there were three guns inside!

She handed one to each of her subordinates and asked in amazement, “How did you know these were here?”

Qiao Chuchu swerved around the pursuers, heading straight for the gate. “I took them from those traitors.”

Song Yu stared at her, stunned.

Qiao Chuchu executed a sharp drift, dodging an oncoming car with such ease that the tail of their vehicle nearly flew off. Her voice, however, was as calm as if she were discussing dinner. “Fear usually comes from a lack of firepower. I’d never let myself be in that position.”

She glanced at Song Yu nonchalantly. “Relax, we’re not going to die.”

For some reason, she was absolutely confident about it.

Probably because the energy booster had made her fearless.

Song Yu’s eyes lit up, and without a second thought, she planted a big kiss on Qiao Chuchu’s cheek!

Qiao Chuchu: “?!”

Song Yu wrapped her arms around Qiao Chuchu, showering her with praise. “You’re amazing! Seriously, you’re freaking incredible!!!”

Her two subordinates in the back were utterly dumbfounded. “Am I seeing things?”

The other subordinate was equally stunned. “No, you’re not. This is the first time Boss Song has ever kissed anyone.”

The subordinate started to look nervous. “And it’s also the first time she’s smiled this brightly at someone!”

Qiao Chuchu: “???”

Song Yu grinned at her, teeth gleaming. “I’m sorry for all the prejudices I had against you before. I sincerely apologize.”

Qiao Chuchu shuddered, goosebumps rising all over her body. “If you really want to apologize, maybe stop smiling at me like that. It’s creeping me out.”

Song Yu: “?”

Ying Chen, watching through binoculars as Qiao Chuchu’s car approached, gave an order. “She’s coming. Get ready to follow her.”

The bodyguard in the passenger seat nodded, then noticed something else. “Boss, there’s a car heading straight for us!”

Ying Chen glanced to the side and saw a vehicle charging toward them.

He smirked dismissively. “Finish this quickly.”

The bodyguard raised his gun, ready to act.

Suddenly, Qiao Chuchu’s car drifted sideways, cutting off the oncoming vehicle!

The driver of the other car swerved in panic, crashing hard into a wall!

Qiao Chuchu smoothly turned the wheel and drove away, her car brushing past Ying Chen’s.

The bodyguard’s jaw dropped. “Boss, you said to finish this quickly, and Qiao Chuchu just did it for us?!”

Ying Chen didn’t respond, his gaze fixed on Qiao Chuchu with a mix of surprise and intrigue.

Qiao Chuchu’s side of the car was illuminated by the headlights of the enemies ahead.

In ?????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????the light, her curly hair was half-tucked behind her ear, the other half cascading lazily over her shoulder. She wore a sleek black wool jacket, her upper body exuding sharpness and confidence. She cast a brief, indifferent glance at his car before coolly looking away.

Damn, she’s kind of… cool?
