Chapter 1151: Crazy
"You were in there again…? What do you have on you this time, hm?"
"Popcorn!"
"...Why do they keep giving you stuff that's not healthy for you?"
Galaxies and galaxies away, back in Riley's not-so-humble apartment, Diana was currently giving herself some time to relax as she, Renna, and Hera had just finished doing several trials to try and convert Renna and Lucy — but alas, even after months had passed already, their progress has completely come to a halt.
If there was any consolation to this, it was that the two worlds were now no longer in the threat of colliding with each other. They were still, of course, in the course of doing so—but with Hera and her variants working overtime to make sure to convert all of Paige's creations, it would take at least hundreds of years before that could happen.
And a hundred years would surely be enough for them to find a solution to all of this. And so, this is why Diana was giving herself some well-deserved break—especially since Riley's children were away, and Hannah and the others also had their own adventures across the universe.
Unfortunately for Diana, she did not account for Enel at all, who just casually stepped out of his previous room and was now supposedly off-limits because of the portal.
"Where… even is your mother?" Diana could not help but just lean out of her seat as Enel approached her in the living room, sitting beside her while wagging his feet and enjoying the popcorn the people who are supposedly from the future gave him.
"Don't know," Enel just shook his head before glancing at Diana.
"They… left you here alone?" Diana sighed.
"No," Enel looked away and just started crunching the bucket of popcorn away, "I said I will stay here! I am guarding Papa's house!"
"Huh…" Diana's eyes started to narrow as she looked at Enel from head to toe, "...You look so much like your father when he was younger, it's almost uncanny."
"...Really?" Enel's eyes widened. He then placed the popcorn on the floor, using all of his effort to do so as he spun around the sofa before finally relaxing back on his seat—no. He was now sitting with his legs crossed and facing Diana, "I look like Papa!? Even more than Lucy!?"
"...Yes," a hint of a smile crawled on Diana's face, "You really look like your father a lot, Enel."
"W… woah…" Enel looked away, "They say I didn't get anything from Papa!"
"...Who's saying that?"
"Lucy!"
"Right…" Diana pinched the bridge of her nose and sighed, "...Don't believe everything your older brother tells you, okay? Although… I think it's actually better if you didn't get anything from your father. Oh, your father used to be so cute—I don't know what happened."
"I love Papa!"
"Hm…" Diana smiled as she gently brushed her thumb on Enel's cheek, "I love him too, your papa. Even despite all that he had done, he'll always be my baby boy, you know…? Like how you'll always be your mama and papa's baby boy."
"Not always," Enel let out a small giggle; raising his shoulders as he was slightly tickled with what Diana was doing, "He will come and take me soon!"
"...What?" Diana blinked a couple of times as she stared at Enel, "Who will take you soon? What do you mean?"
"The man with the long hair!" Enel shrugged, "He said he would send me to another place! And not just me, he said he will also send Lucy, big sister Renna, Arthas, and big sister Karina someplace else!"
"Who… are you talking about?" Diana tried her best not to change the tone of her voice; she could not, however, help but just grab Enel by the shoulders.
"Hmm…" Enel did not even seem to mind at all as he just placed a finger on his lip and started humming, "...It's a secret! But he said Papa knows and he agreed, he just doesn't know it yet!"
"Just doesn't know—you mean the one who told you that is from the future…?" Diana's eyes narrowed even further, "Can you share this secret with Grandma? I promise to also keep it a secret!"
"Hmm… Idunno…" Enel pouted and also squinted his eyes as he looked at Diana's face. But after just a few seconds, his eyes widened at the same time as his smile, "Well, okay!"
Enel then stood up from the sofa and leaned closer to Diana, also gesturing to her to lean forward so he could whisper to her.
"The one who told me is…" Enel whispered into her ear.
Diana's eyes started with still being narrow—but soon, it slowly turned wider and wider by the second as Enel told everything.
"You mean—"
"Sshh! Shhh!" Enel quickly covered Diana's mouth as he started looking up to nowhere in particular, "Don't say anything. They are listening… the Big Eyes are listening… we can't let them know, it's supposed to be our secret."
"Okay…" Diana looked away and sat up straight; her eyes that were moving around, however, made it quite obvious that her mind was currently in turmoil. She didn't know for sure if everything Enel told her was true. But if it was…
…then she doesn't know what to actually do when it comes to pass.

"Go on."
"...You were serious?"
Back in the Grand Triangle, Riley was also still eating some snacks as he continued to gesture to Aurora to step out of the ship and join the fight against the mimics. Aurora, however, did not know whether or not Riley was actually serious…
…but from the look of expectation in his eyes, he truly was probably thinking of letting Aurora fight alongside Miss Pepondosovich and the others.
"Yes. Go on."
"That…"
Aurora's star-shaped eyes flickered as Riley suddenly pulled out something from his pocket—and it was something very, very familiar to her. Intimate, even.
"Why do you have that!?" Aurora quickly rushed to snatch her red helmet and suit from Riley's hands, "Where did you even get this from!?"
"I brought it with me since you might use it, Aurora," Riley shrugged, "And now, you have a chance to use it."
"Riley… What am I even going to do out there?" Aurora pointed to the outside, "Miss Pepondosovich and the others are literal gods, what am I even going to contribute out there?"
"I do not know, Aurora," Riley just once again shrugged, "But I do believe it would be more entertaining, so—"
"What—!?" And before Aurora could finish her words, she found herself suddenly naked. But only for a quarter of a second as her helmet and suit just wrapped themselves around her, "Did you just…"
"Yes," Riley nodded.
"Why would you do that!?" Aurora tried pulling her helmet, but for some reason, she could not even budge it for even a single millimeter…
…and very soon, she found herself floating in the air.
"Well then, Aurora…" Riley then pulled out something else from his pockets,
"...I suppose you would need a weapon?"
