The Martial Unity

Chapter 2773 Untold Power

Chapter 2773 Untold Power

Chapter 2773  Untold Power

The Blood Lord felt his instincts stir as the Dawnbringer grew stronger and stronger.

He felt his nerves tingle as he beheld uncharted territories of power being breached with each passing second.

And then, it was complete.

After two long months, Rui's blood evolution treatment was finally complete as the carnivorous plant released his grip, returning the Dawnbringer back to the world.

The Blood Lord's eyes lit up as he beheld him for the first time in months.

His power had risen.

Its depths had grown even more unfathomable.

He couldn't even imagine just how strong a Martial Master could possibly become within the Master Realm. Just his presence alone caused the very peak of the Master Realm to collide with the lowest point of the Sage Realm.

It was an unprecedented phenomenon in all of history.

THUD

Rui landed on his feet, glancing at his hand with pitch-black eyes.

He clenched his fists as he closed his eyes.

The Blood Lord studied him carefully. "How do you feel?"

Rui stirred as he opened his eyes, meeting the Blood Lord's eager gaze with his dark eyes.

A single remark escaped him.

"Invincible."

His gaze returned to his hands. "Of course, I'm well aware that I far from invincible, on a rational level. Yet…"

His gaze sharpened. "…I feel as though no force in this world can overcome me. I don't even understand just how much stronger I have become. Unfortunately, finding an opponent who can push me to my limits is also, well, hard to find."

He didn't want to use Gigabrain to fight a Sage for the sole sake of testing his power. He had already spent two months in the Blood Cult for the blood evolution treatment. He could not afford to waste more time in this place. Not to mention, he needed to stop jumping to that trump card every time he was pushed beyond his limits; overreliance on a flawed power that he couldn't control was not good.

"I wonder if there will be anybody capable of pushing me to my limits…" Rui muttered. "Maybe I should just fight the Blood Goddess, but…"

He heaved a helpless sigh. "She's too weak."

The Blood Lord's eyes widened with shock at those words. "…Too weak?"

The Blood Goddess was among the stronger breed of Martial Masters despite spending much of her time getting pregnant and giving birth. She was astonishingly talented with a masterpiece of biotechnology for a Martial Body. If not for the Blood Cult forcing her to give birth to babies, she would have reached even greater heights of combat power.

"Hm, maybe I should toss her into the manifold and have her train continuously for many years." Rui fell into thought. "That could yield some fun results. I should talk to her about it when I see her, better to shape some good competitors for myself using the manifold. Still, she's too weak."

Rui shifted his gaze towards the man. "Well, too weak to push me to my limits. But I suppose she can help me gain a better understanding of my own power. Plus, I will feel better if I bully her a bit after what she tried to pull off against me."

While he found it impressive that she managed to push Amare into tapping into the Progenitor's memories, that was not enough to force him to go all-out, even without Gigabrain. "Well, before I do anything, I need to clean myself of this disgusting slime," a glint of disgust appeared on his face as he glanced at his body. "Prepare a bath for me. I need to get rid of all this filth. Also…"

He turned towards the Blood Lord with a pointed gaze. "I presume that the two of them are doing just fine, right?"

"…I have assigned them to the same living quarters at the request of the Omni-Martial," the Blood Lord shrugged impassively. "It appears that the Blood Goddess has experienced certain… psychological issues with recent changes in her events."

"I'm not surprised," Rui snorted. "You turned a normal Martial Master into a monster. The tilt to psychopathy of the Master Realm has undoubtedly played a role in that. Now, Amare's taking on the challenge to undo everything that has happened to her. Tsk, she's too kind for her own good."

He would have let the Blood Goddess rot in this place for the rest of his life if not for Amare's insistence.

"You're not wrong, but you see, we have already canceled out the tilt towards psychopathy," the Blood Lord coldly spoke. "Every time she gave birth, we let her nurse and breastfeed her newborn for about half a year to undo the tilt towards psychopathy before taking her newborn away from her forcefully, of course."

"…" Rui stared at him. "I forgot that you guys were the real monsters here. Maybe I should have gone ahead and declared war on this filthy place. Out of all the powerhouses that I have visited, the Blood Cult might be the very first one with absolutely no saving graces or redeeming points whatsoever."

The Blood Lord stiffened.

He didn't care for Rui's disgust towards the Blood Cult, but he did care about the perilous undertones.

Rui's expression grew even more disdainful. "No comeback? I just insulted you and your nation, and your expression has gone pale. You are surely the most pathetic peak Sage I have met in my entire life. I'm genuinely irritated that someone like you is far stronger than me."

All the other peak Sages had a weight in the way they carried themselves and in their body language that set them apart. Whether it was the Devil, Sage Shinken, Bodhisattva Maitreyi, or Queen Lianiala, there was a special presence or weight to their presence.

But with the Blood Lord, he didn't seem to have much weight to his presence, even if he had a chillingly eerie air about him at times.

"Your words are painful," the Blood Lord remarked as he heaved a sigh of relief at Rui moving from that dangerous line of thought. "I will ensure that all your requirements are fulfilled.
